“Take Ayaan out to eat,” Ranita gave Ayaan a look, “When you go out to eat, don’t eat cold food, and don’t eat pizza.”
“Be careful not to catch a cold.”
Ranita went back to her room and changed into a dress, a gray halter starry sky dress, revealing her fair shoulders and arms, her slender swan-like neck beautiful, and her lightly made-up face even more charming.
In front of Brendon, she left like a proud swan.
“Daddy, Mommy looks so beautiful!” Ayaan looked up, speaking innocently and cutely to Brendon.
Brendon was extremely annoyed.
His mind was full of Ranita’s fair shoulders… damn woman just went out like that? What if she’s targeted by bad guys?
Brendon quickly took Ayaan out.
Once Ranita was out, she felt a bit annoyed. Why did she had to lie? She hadn’t even made plans to have lunch with Makhi! Where could she find Makhi now?
Should she take a walk downstairs and come back when Brendon takes Ayaan away?
Ranita made a good plan, but as soon as she got into the elevator, Brendon pulled Ayaan in.
Just as Ranita was thinking of finding an excuse to leave, Ayaan hugged her leg and said with a smile, “Mommy, you’re so beautiful!”
“Uncle Terry will definitely praise you when he sees you.”
Brendon had a grim face when he heard his son’s words.
But it seemed Ayaan didn’t notice it, he just kept talking to Ranita, “Mommy, I’ll come back early, you come back early too.”
“Okay! You listen to Daddy and don’t run around, okay?” Ranita reminded.
In front of Brendon and Ayaan, she had no choice but to go to the parking lot together.
“Ranita, Brendon!” a familiar voice sounded, startling Ranita.
Who would have thought they would coincidentally meet Makhi directly.
Ranita hurried to Makhi’s side and said hastily, “Brendon took Ayaan out to eat, let’s go too.”
Makhi was a smart person, smiling and agreeing, “Let’s go.”
Before leaving, he reached out and touched Ayaan’s head, then smiled at Brendon.
That smile made Brendon’s heart feel like it was being sliced by the north wind, wishing he could just beat up Makhi.
Brendon watched helplessly as Ranita got into Makhi’s car, swallowing a mouthful of car exhaust.
“Daddy, what’s wrong with you?” Ayaan looked at him innocently, “Are you feeling bad?”
“Daddy’s not feeling bad!” Brendon pulled the little guy into the car, fastened his seatbelt, and took him to a Western restaurant.
Brendon knew the owner, so he could get a table without a reservation. He ordered food for Ayaan and asked with his chin resting on his hand, “Ayaan, do you like Makhi?”
Ayaan was happily eating fries, feeling particularly good.
“Yeah, I like him.”
Brendon’s heart sank.
He asked again, “Then do you like Daddy?”
“I like Daddy.” Ayaan put down the fries and blinked, saying, “And I like Uncle Pearson, Uncle Webster too.”
Brendon was infuriated, “Don’t you like Daddy the most?”
Ayaan pouted aggrievedly, put down the fries, and remained silent, lowering his brows and not speaking.
He was indeed a little cunning.
“Let’s skip this question. Do you have any objections to Mommy going on a date with Makhi?”
Ayaan shook his head, still twisting the knife in Brendon’s heart. He said, “I have no objections, as long as Mommy is happy.”
“Daddy, since you and Mommy are separated, Mommy can like anyone, and so can you.” After saying this, Ayaan couldn’t help but ask, “Daddy, do you like Aunt Murphy? Are you going to marry her?”
Ayaan thought of Shannon asking him to call her mommy, so he said angrily, “I don’t like that aunt, she’s annoying.”
