Ranita thought Kora was really cool! She used to see her as gentle and polite, but she didn’t expect her to be so good at retorting.
“Kora, you better have my back from now on! I’m grateful!” Ranita smiled brightly, like a beautiful fairy hidden in the forest.
Thinking about her perpetually single nephew, Kora asked as they walked, testing the waters, “Ranita, you’ve been single for these past few years, raising Ayaan on your own. Have you considered finding someone else?”
In Kora’s eyes, since they had divorced, there was no need to go back to a failed relationship!
Besides, the Stuart family was a quagmire. Whoever got involved with them was asking for trouble. Especially Amiya, with a mother-in-law like her, Brendon should remain single for the rest of his life!
Of course, in Kora’s eyes, Brendon was still good. Although he had a colder personality, he was good-looking and talented, with no scandalous news. Kora thought about it and felt that her own nephew was just as outstanding. So she said, “If you’re considering remarriage, I can introduce someone to you.”
Ranita was amused, “Really? I have high standards, you know!”
“I’ll find someone who meets all those standards!” Kora was about to praise her own nephew as well when Ranita chuckled and said softly, “Kora, I haven’t considered it yet! Right now, I’m busy helping my father, the company is demanding, and I have to take care of Ayaan. I don’t have time to think about anything else.”
Kora felt a little disappointed but didn’t pursue the matter.
The luxury boutique had a VIP room dedicated to receiving distinguished guests. Inside, there were expensive sofas, and the staff had prepared a selection of suitable dresses for them to choose from.
They had just sat down when Amiya entered with Shannon and sat directly on the sofa opposite them. Fortunately, the VIP room was spacious enough, with a distance of two or three meters between them, and everyone pretended not to notice each other.

“Let’s mind our own business and not bother with her!” Ranita picked a black cocktail dress, and Kora immediately asked her to try it on.
Although Ranita had given birth to a child, her figure hadn’t changed. The black dress looked even more stunning on her, accentuating her fair and beautiful skin and her long legs, making her look like a youthful unmarried girl.
“Oh, it’s so beautiful!” Kora’s eyes sparkled as she watched. “Ranita, this is the one! It looks absolutely gorgeous!”
“Kora, Miss Bowman, you have great taste! This dress is a custom design by a renowned designer, specifically placed here for display. It hasn’t found the right fit because it’s a small size,” the staff complimented.
“Miss Bowman, you have a great figure.” The staff, trained to say flattering things, effortlessly praised her, and Kora decisively agreed, “Ranita, this is the one! It looks amazing!”
“Ranita, I think it looks great on you too!” Just then, Shannon shamelessly joined in, “Is Ranita also going to the Webster Residence for the birthday celebration tonight?”
“We’ll be going too, and I hope we can get along well then,” she said, thick-skinned, referring to her and Brendon.
