“I can’t stay calm! Do you know how much this emerald set is worth?” Holly said triumphantly, her voice cutting. “My brother spent so much money on it, and you just gave it to a stranger like that. You’re not fit to be the manager of this auction house!”
Brian was sweating profusely under her criticism.
“Miss Stuart, please calm down!” Brian hurriedly explained, “Ms. Bowman has our delivery order and we have received…”
But before Brian could finish his sentence, Holly lunged at Ranita with anger written all over her face.
“Ranita, how dare you! This belongs to my brother; you have no right to take it!”
Seeing Holly charging towards her, Ranita quickly moved out of the way while Olivia tried to block Ranita from getting hurt and ended up being pushed down by Holly.
“Ouch!” Olivia cried out in pain as she fell on the ground while holding onto her wrist which was throbbing with pain.
“Ranita… I’m okay… ouch…” Olivia winced as she tried moving her wrist which made her face turn pale due to the excruciating pain.
Ranita’s anger flared up too.
“Holly, what’s gotten into you? Brendon gave me the delivery order saying he wanted me to have it for his son; why can’t I accept it? If you have a problem with that, then go talk to Brendon! And if you dare lay your hands on me again, don’t blame me for being rude.”
As Ranita helped Olivia sit down and checked if she was alright or not, there was an icy glare in Ranita’s eyes as she spoke, “Mr. Phelps, pack everything up properly. I’m taking them away.”
“You dare!” Holly’s face turned red when she heard this and quickly blocked their way, “If you try taking anything away from here, I won’t hesitate either.”
“Heh heh,” said Ranita smirkingly, “It’s written clearly on paper that I am now the owner of these emeralds. Do you still want them?” She turned towards Brian, “Please call the police if necessary.”
Brian didn’t want to offend the Stuart family, but Ranita came to pick up the goods through proper procedures. Brendon even called to explain, saying that the items were a gift from them…
Brian vaguely remembered that Ranita mentioned something about a “son” earlier…
This is turning into a big gossip!
“Miss Bowman, there’s no need to escalate things by calling the police! Let’s talk it out calmly!” Brian advised Holly. “Miss Stuart, Mr. Stuart is also aware of this matter. Why don’t we directly involve Mr. Stuart…”
“My brother is in the hospital, so don’t bother him!” Holly scornfully looked at Brian. Just as she was about to explode, Shannon rushed over.

“Thank you for the compliments, Mr. Phelps. I’m glad you’re not angry anymore.”
“Shannon, you’re just too kind-hearted, which makes you an easy target for others to take advantage of!” Holly grabbed Shannon’s arm and said with great dissatisfaction, “Mr. Phelps, let me tell you, the item I paid for belongs to the Stuart family. Only we can take it away!”
