Ranita was scared out of her wits.

She tried to get off Brendon in a panic, but he held onto her tightly. Damn Brendon even leaned in and kissed her provocatively while looking at Jedidiah with defiance. “She’s my woman, what can you do if I don’t let go?” He then hugged Ranita tighter.
Ranita was completely sober now, and she felt a slight sweat on her back. She really wanted to roll her eyes at Brendon!
“Brother! Don’t be angry! We just had a little misunderstanding…” After explaining to Jedidiah, Ranita glared at Brendon and said, “Brendon, let go!”
Brendon was so angry that he couldn’t speak.
At this point, she still stood on Jedidiah’s side? Why didn’t she consider his feelings at all? Brendon gritted his teeth and pinched her waist hard while speaking in a low voice, “No way!”
“Since Mr. Bowman is here, let’s explain it to him!”
“I…” Before Ranita could finish speaking, Jedidiah sneered coldly at Brendon, “Mr. Stuart, my patience is limited; release my sister immediately!”

“You shut up!” Ranita wished she could cover his mouth; why was this idiot so stupid?! He should have stopped talking instead of arguing!
