**Annabelle**
I recognize the familar scent of my home. The softness of my bed.
I woke up taking a deep breath. Thoughts of why I fainted in the first place flooded my brain.
I can’t believe I even thought of holding off on my revenge scheme. He went too far. How could he do this to me.
I can take whatever is thrown my way but definately not using my past against me when he knew just how big of a part he had to play in it.
I’ll be made a mockery of. My parents would see it and once again, they’ll refuse to acknowledge me as their daughter.
“You’re awake.”
He says coming into my room, I looked at it with so much rage.
“You have some balls coming here after what you did.”
I fired in fury.
“Seriously Anna. After everything, you think I would be capable of doing this.”
He actually sounds hurt making me scoff. Playing the victim.
“I’ve been on the phone with my board thinking they went behind my back and conjured this but they’re denying any involvement with evidence. We had nothing to do with this.”
He explained, I gazed into his eyes. Those eyes that I can tell if they’re lying or saying the truth and right now my instincts tells me it’s the truth.
“How bad is it?”
I ask pulling the covers over myself.
“It’s pretty bad. We have to get ahead of the situation.”
“Get ahead how. I’m trending right, just like in college only now I’m going to be the talk of the whole country just like….”
“Ava. I’ll be the talk of the country just like Ava.”
I mumbled under my breath and it clicked.
“Ava did this..”
I huffed and got up.
“Annabelle you said it yourself, don’t jump into conclusion.”
“You said it yourself, you warned me which means you were thinking she’s so angry to do anything.”
“Yes but…”
“You wife thinks I ruined her life and she’s trying to ruin mine. Mission accomplished, it worked. If she’s expecting me to back down, she’s seriously mistaken because I won’t.”
I said determined.
“You said it yourself hours ago Anna. Don’t jump into conclusion.”
“Yeah. Easy for you to say about your darling wife. You’re not the one who’s name and reputation is being dragged down the mud. Don’t you see, she thinks I ruined her name and reputation so she’s doing same. Don’t stand in my way because I am going to make her pay. I swear it. When I get back, I want you out. I’m going to try and salvage what’s left of my life.”
I quickly got out and stormed out of the house.
**Fallon**
It’s like I’m in the middle of a huge sea. Anna claims she didn’t leak the news of Ava’s pregnancy. Now something happened and I refuse to believe Ava is response for Anna’s misfortune but the pattern just can’t me mistaken.
Their problems are extremely similar.
Could Anna be lying?
No she isn’t capable of something like that.
Once again, I drove like a mad man back home. If she’s responsible for this then I’m going to be very angry.
“Ava!”
I thundered the moment I stepped into the house.
“Fallon, you’re home.”
She said putting her phone down suspiciously.
“You just finished talking to your hit man I presume. Asking him if the job was done right?”
I fired at her, she jumped a little and her she blinked her eyes and in that moment I knew she was guilty.
“Fallon, she ruined my life. I clearly told you I wouldn’t seat back and watch her. I had to do something.”
“Seriously Ava! How could you do that. I get it that you’re hurt because you “think” you aren’t even sure because there aren’t evidence to prove it. You think she hurt but how could you use her past against her.”
She suddenly twitches her lips in what seemed like confusion.
“What are you talking about?”
She asks making me freeze.
“I’m talking about you creating a scandal that “she sold her body” or something.”
I said controlling my temper and she gasped.
“I didn’t do it Fallon.”
“You literally just confessed!”
“Yeah, I confessed to trying to create a law suit for starters for the land before I do drastic things. I just called the guy, he wants to start the procedures quietly so it won’t get noticed until it’s too late but I swear it to you Fallon, I didn’t do it.”
She says taking a deep breath.
“She’s telling the truth, I can feel it.”
“Okay now I’m confused.”
I said truthfully.
“I don’t know what’s going here. I didn’t touch Annabelle in that way. I swear on our unborn child Fallon. I did not do it.”
I believe her, if she didn’t do it, who did?
I rake my hands through my hair pacing around.
Before I could try to find out my next course of action, something breaks through the window and Ava ducks down.
“Ahhhh…”
She screams, I rush towards her trying to shield her from whatever it was.
Something came through. A huge rock with something engraved it in.
I cocked my head to the side holding onto Ava and trying to read it’s word.
“YOU’LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID, I’M COMING FOR YOU.”
That was clearly engraved onto the huge rock and I only had one thought in mind.
“Did Annabelle do this?”
