**Annabelle**
I stared out the window with my hands placed on the car seat, and refused to take even one glance at him as he drove me home.
“Silent treatment, seriously Anna?” I scoffed, ignoring him.
“Its simple math, what if someone saw you with him or something, and then it blows our cover.” I shoved him the finger again. We both knew those words were crap.
“We were in a fucking house, trust me no one saw him banging the hell out of me.” I retaliated, and earned a grunt followed by a sharp intake of breath.
“You had sex with him.” He said like he had just acknowledged it himself.
“Yes I did, captain obvious.” I rolled my eyes, searching for my phone to keep myself busy.
Suddenly, I sighted an ice cream truck.
“Stop the car!” I yelled, hitting the chair repeatedly. He pumped the brakes, and I jumped out of the car before he pulled over completely. I rushed towards the truck with a full grin on my face.
“One vanilla cone please.” I requested with a smile, I handed him some notes, he gave me the cone and I walked back to his car.
“You would’ve hurt yourself just now.” I licked it softly, he glared trying to get mad at me.
“Annabelle!” He yelled, I continued licking my ice cream ignoring him. He needed to understand, I was not the same girl he dated.
“It’s Isabelle.” I retorted seconds later, and went back to my Ice cream.
“You didn’t even wait for me to pull over, what if you injured yourself.” My senses were deceiving me, for I noticed a hint of care. I waved it away, licking my ice cream, moaning in delight.
Suddenly, he yanked it from my grasp and threw it outside. I shot him a mean glare, as my lips quivered.
“Y-you… Y-you…” I stuttered, tears were threatening to spill from my eyes.
“You threw it away…” My voice cracked at the end, as I sniffled breaking into short sobs.
“I hate you!” I yelled, sobbing harder. I sounded like a lunatic, crying for a cup of ice cream, but I could not help myself. In my mind, it only registered that Fallon took everything I cared about.
“Annabelle,”
“Just take me home, or I’ll walk.” I threatened in an icy tone. He looked defeated, turn to face the wheel, started the car, and drove away.
*******
We got to my house, I opened his car door, and walked out without saying a word.
“Annabelle,” I heard him call out my name, I didn’t respond. I simply ignored him, and got inside slamming the door shut. He threw my favorite flavor away, I could easily get another one but still he had no right to do that. I laid on my bed feeling down, and bored. I thought of calling Ava, but she had a photo shoot, so I didn’t want to disturb her at all.
Likewise, I tried to get some sleep, I couldn’t. I just stared at the ceiling.
My phone beeped and a text came in from Renee.
**Today was great Annabelle, but I checked who your boyfriend was, he was not someone I wanted to get on my bad side. I guess that was our last fuck.**
It read the text in annoyance. I might not have cared about Renee, but the money was good. Fallon took that away too.
“There goes my revenge.” I rolled my eyes, tossing my phone to a corner.
Minutes later, I felt a little hot, so I took off my clothes, and hit the shower. When I finished, I got dressed in casual clothes, went downstairs to watch a movie, and kill boredom a little.
Just then, the doorbell rang. Ava shoot wouldn’t be done for another hour or two, so who could it be. I unlocked it, then creaked it open to see. My eyes nearly popped out when I noticed Fallon standing there but that wasn’t all, he was holding a bucket of vanilla ice cream.
“I’m sorry.” He pleaded, stretching it forward. I glared at him before hesitantly taking it from his grip.
“Ok, you can go now.” I nudged my head towards the exit.
“Actually, I’m bored.”
“You can go bring your sex chat with your girlfriend to a reality.”
“She left already.” He rolled his eyes.
“Well, I’m not a sport for you to kill boredom with.” I tried to close the door, he stopped it with his foot.
“Please,” He pouted a little. I exhaled, then removed my foot to let him in.
“Just because you got me ice-cream, that’s all.” He nodded his head repeatedly. I walked to the kitchen to get a bowl and spoons.
****
Half an hour later, Fallon, and I were on a separate couch watching a movie.
“This is boring.” He stated, stood up and turned it off.
“Well, what do you want us to do?” I folded my arms, taking a spoon full of ice cream, I moaned as it touched my lips loving the reaction it had on Fallon.
“Let’s okay 20 questions.” He suggested.
“We ain’t high school students.” I replied with a grin on my lips.
“Still, it’s a good way to kill boredom. Besides, I haven’t seen you for six years, I want to know what happened.” I thought about it for a moment. With a nod of my head, I agreed, and he grinned.
“So, first question,” He trailed off, taking some ice cream.
“What do you need the money for?” He asked.
“I want to start up my business independently, and my parents need money to, they’ll never accept it from me, so I send it through my cousin.” His eyes flashed with recognition, about why they didn’t want anything to do with me.
“Annabelle I,”
“My turn.” I cut him short immediately not wanting to have a pity party with him.
“What do you seeing your girlfriend?” I asked curiously, I mean she’s pretty and all but I couldn’t help wonder why Fallon got attracted to her.
“Stephanie is well,” He trailed off with a sigh, I guess he did not know the right adjective to use in qualification.
“Truthfully Anna, when I met her she was just a woman with a dream, a great person, her determination made me want her.” He replied, I couldn’t help but smile. No matter how bitchy she was, I was glad there’s a good side to her.
“My turn.” He beamed.
“Okay, what’s your worse experience ever.” He asked. Immediately, I remembered what happened to me and I froze.
“Are you okay?”
“I was almost raped.” I stated coldly.
“And it’s your fault.” I added going back to eating my ice cream, his face held confusion, surprise, curiosity, but most importantly, guilt because he knew that I might be right, maybe now he might actually have a glimpse of why I despise him so much.
