Junxie Li was dressed in a designer suit with a purple necktie. On his wrist was a golden wristwatch and on his feet was a shining designer buckle shoes whose appearance alone foretold how expensive it was.
Tim and Lee were dressed in the same way as their father. They three look identical except that one looked older than the two fellas.
Junxie was waiting for Theresa Mo at the bureau. He looked splendid and sophisticated. His thin pink lips matching with his well carved V- face and a charming temple makes him look like an idol.
His hair was well taken care of and it glitters as if it was permed. The same goes for his boys and they look attractive.
Cheng Li and his wife Carol Li were present. His uncle Li Guang and his family were present as well.
Julia came along with his daughter Amaya. Those were the immediate family that were present.
Theresa was all set. Her wedding dress was beautiful. It’s a square neck wedding dress with shiny stones arranged on its front part as designs.
Her jewellers were made from the purest form of diamonds as they glittered. On her wrist was a feminine type of watch that Junxie Li wore.
It was going to be a quiet wedding but she deserves to look sweet. She wore high strappy designer shoes and her hair was made into a bun with a few curly strands falling over her face.
She wore light waterproof makeup and held a bouquet of flowers. Rosa was there with her, she was going to be her bridesmaid helping her with the overflowing part of her wedding dress.
Rosa was looking beautiful too. She wore a milk coloured mermaid dress and block print designer shoes.
Soon Lanre walked in. “We have to leave now, the groom is already waiting” he said and looked at Theresa.
Lanre was Theresa’s twin brother and he was as happy as the bride herself. He looked good in his designer’s suit and Rosa admired him more.
“Theresa, I never knew a day like this was going to come in my life. I don’t know my family, my parents or that I was a twin and had a sister.
But fortune made us meet and today we got to know each other. You are important to me and I wished that one of our parents were alive to see this day.
But I am here now, and I am going to walk you to your wedding. I’m glad this wasn’t done by someone else but your own brother.
I wish you all the happiness in the world and may you always have peaçe. Congratulations sister..” Lanre said, smiling through a sobered reflection.
Theresa’s eyes became welled up. She hugged Lanre and sniffled. She didn’t know how or what to say to him, but was too happy that he was her brother.
“No, no, no. No tears on your wedding day sister” Lanre declared, and Theresa smiled.
Junxie kept looking at his wristwatch. They have twenty minutes left to be joined by the registrar. It seemed his bride was getting late.
He whispered to Julia to call Lanre and he did but the latter didn’t answer his phone.
Julia reverted back to the groom and he nodded. He knew his bride was coming. It’s a wedding that gets them both excited.
At exactly five minutes left, a black porch arrived, tinted and the bride carefully stepped out.
All heads turned in her direction and her beauty was breathtaking and full of splendour. She looked like a princess that was about to be betrothed.
Lanre hooked his hand around hers at the elbow. They looked at each other and smiled before carefully ascending the stairs to the bureau office.
Junxie Li stood up to welcome her and he took her hand from Lanre and smiled. “Gorgeous” was all he said as they went in together.
About an hour later, the couple were out and both were smiling happily. Everyone congratulated them and only Rosa and Julia went in to sign along with them.
The wedding band on their fingers was beautiful and expensive. Carol Li went to hug Theresa. She had become her daughter in-law now.
Luciana went to congratulate them as well. Now her lips are shut. She has nothing to insult Theresa with anymore.
The few paparazzi that were permitted, took photos of the happy couple posing with their kids and family and soon, they all got into the car and were heading to the Paradise Hotel for a brief roundtable reception.
Theresa Mo arrived at the hotel in Company of her husband and went to change out of her wedding dress.
She changed into a purple ball gown and when she stepped out with Junxie Li from the hotel room, everyone smiled, her glamour was captivating.
The kids were happy, they sat one by the sides of their parents. Amaya sat with her father next to her grandma and looked beautiful.
She is recovering fast and has already become acquainted with her cousins. Li Guang and Paula were sitting next to the couple before Luciana.
Everyone had a nice time and ate. When they were supposed to go, Theresa said she was going to see her parents first and then her Aunt.
Lanre said she could go to see Aunt Lulu but should wait till the next morning before going to see their parents. She can’t go to the graveyard at such a beautiful time as this.
That way, Theresa went to see Aunt Lulu. She got into the ward and went to hold her hands ” Hello Aunt. I missed you.
The wedding you had looked forward to eventually took place, aunt. Junxie and I have now become a couple and it would have been more beautiful if you had been here.
But I know that you will be happy when you wake up. I am a happy woman Aunt. I Married the best man in the world and I love him very much.
I am also pregnant. I know you will be here when she is born. It’s going to be a girl Aunt, I am sure about it…” Theresa’s voice choked.
She would have been the one in this position. If she had entered the car that morning, she would have been the one in this terrible State.
Perhaps she might not be as lucky as her Aunt. She might have died and wouldn’t live to see her wedding day.
Suddenly, Aunt Lulu’s fingers had a slight movement and Lanre smiled. ” Aunt Lulu is hearing you sister. She’s coming around soon..” Lanre declared.
This is a good sign. In a couple of days, she would be awake. He can’t wait to see her alive and well again.
” We need to leave, there’s someone I want you to meet..” Junxie Li declared.
