Theresa Mo took hers and left the glass on the sink like Junxie did.
“I want us to talk darling,” Theresa Mo said. She saw him not looking too happy with her. And he said a few minutes ago that she hurt him yesterday.
“I don’t want to hear anything right now” Junxie replied and walked past her to return upstairs. He was going to his study and Theresa Mo hurried along with him.
He might have shut the door and not opened it when she knocked. The best thing is to follow him in before he shuts the door.
She got in after him but Junxie Li held the door, not shutting it. “You don’t have any business here, go to the bedroom and sleep. I have work to do” he declared.
“You had work yesterday and didn’t return to the bedroom to sleep. Today you still have work and are sending me into the bedroom to sleep.
I will stay here until you finish doing your work then we go to the bedroom to sleep together” Theresa objected, going over and sitting on Junxie’s chair, looking at his computer screen.
Junxie shut the door and stood staring at her. She sat in his chair and didn’t mind that he was standing and staring at her.
Where is he going to sit to do the work now that she’s taken over his seat? But he returned to sleep in the bedroom last night but got up early to go to work.
She didn’t know and termed it that he didn’t return to the bedroom. Theresa ignored him and adjusted herself properly before asking:
“What’s the code to unlock the computer?” She appeared serious and Junxie Li couldn’t help but chuckled softly. She is acting like a boss lady.
He likes to spoil her and can’t help it. She’s the only woman he had fallen in love with. He took the seat opposite to hers and brought out his phone, checking through his emails.
Since Theresa Mo was bossing over the computer, he would check his emails through his phone. He was glancing at Theresa from split vision.
Seeing Junxie Li ignoring her, Theresa Mo doesn’t know what to say to make him listen to her. He wants to plead with him not to get angry with his parents and thereby make them unhappy.
She yawned. She was already sleepy. But she doesn’t want to sleep yet, she wants to get Junxie’s attention. She glanced at him and saw him concentrating on his phone.
He sat with his legs crossed and his head bowed, going through the phone. Theresa Mo admired him with such a cute picture.
She took her phone and snapped him. Junxie knew what she did but didn’t raise his head still.
How he wished she would just go to the bedroom and let him work. His silence was like a torment to her and he likes it. That’s the best he can do to her.
“Darling” Theresa Mo called him. “Mm… Mm” he grunted. He still didn’t raise his head.
“I want sex”Theresa Mo said next and immediately she got the reply “You are not getting it tonight” he replied and a soft grin passed through his lips.
“I will get it tonight and you must give it to me. It would be better if you cooperate with me so that you can get back to your work…” Theresa declared.
“Go ahead and rape me” Junxie Li replied and glanced at her. If he doesn’t want to do it, she wouldn’t be able to get him to do it.
“Then you are not ready to work” Theresa Mo said and stared at him. If she’s to get Junxie and talk to him about letting go, it has to be after love making.
He would be so calm and quiet and would readily listen to her. Though that is not the best way of getting a man to reason with his woman, right now, that’s the only weapon that would work on him.
“Fine, stay with that computer, ” he replied and stood up. He was going to use another computer. There’s one in the guest room that is also connected to the internet.
Theresa Mo stood up and went after him. “I need to talk to you Junxie, just an audience” she said, stamping her feet and walking behind him.
Junxie Li ignored her grumbling and got into the guest room and wanted to shut the door on her. Theresa stood in between and wouldn’t let him shut the door.
“Get away Theresa. If you don’t let me work, I will leave the mansion and won’t return until three days’ time” Junxie threatened.
His face was cold and Theresa Mo looked at him. He is not willing to talk to her. She gave up and decided to back out.
“When you will be ready to talk to me, I may not be ready then” she said and Junxie Li said that’s fine. He would wait until she’s ready.
Theresa Mo went back to the bedroom. She climbed into the bed and covered herself with a quilt.
Julia kept rolling from one side to the other on his bed. He couldn’t sleep. It wasn’t like he didn’t close his eyes to sleep, he did but it was Rita he saw sobbing.
He snapped his eyes open and couldn’t sleep again. He remained with his eyes open until midnight.
He stood up and went to take a bath. Went downstairs and got himself a bottle of alcohol from the cell.
He brought the alcohol to his room and gradually brought himself to empty it. But he ended up staying awake in a semi drunken state.
He wants to see Rita. What will he do? The manner in which Alfred talked to him the last time he went to visit her made him regret ever going to see her.
He would call her during the day and see if he could have a video call with her. He wants to apologies to her and get things straightened between them.
He got dressed and went to the office. He soon received a message from the hospital that Rita was going to be discharged from the hospital that morning and he was told what her bills were.
He immediately transferred the money to the hospital’s account. He had paid for the bills which implies that she would be leaving the hospital any moment soon.
He would call her later in the day or better still, visit her apartment where she lived with her brother before they got married. He had been there several times in the past when the going was good.
Theresa Mo arrived at the company almost the same time Junxie Li arrived but in a different car. She got to work immediately.
There would be a zoom meeting with the President in an hour’s time. If it was before, they would converge at the conference Hall.
He only holds zoom meetings when he is out of the country and wants to have a talk with the top employees of the company. But since he chose this way, they all would abide by it.
When Rita was declared to be discharged, though, she was to keep coming to visit and check her health condition.
Alfred went to the cashier to ask and at the same time pay his sister’s hospital bills, he was surprised by what he was told.
