Lanre went to have a shower and return to ruminate on his activities for the day. He was able to discover that he is a twin. He has a sister but where is she?
His mother’s name was Ye Xiaoxi but who is his father? If he could find out who his father is, perhaps he would know about that aunt who detested him so much before he was born and his twin sister.
But his mind drifted off to Rosa again. Tara is here and would accompany him to Junxie and Theresa’s engagement the next day.
Will Rosa be coming over? He would give her a face slap when she sees him in the company of another woman. If she still loves him like he did, she would be almost torn apart emotionally.
Lanre wanted to sleep but couldn’t. The nurse disappeared into thin air. Where could she have been? How can she just leave without leaving a clue behind.
That woman might be able to give him more information about his mother. She might know his father as well.
He stood up and left the bed. He strolled into his study and logged into his computer. He searched for Ye Xiaoxi and several pictures showed up.
He was confused. Which of them would be his Mother? He started going through their profile. But he stumbled upon one Ye Xiaoxi who doesn’t have beyond her picture and date of birth.
He paused. He zoomed in on the picture and he suddenly felt attracted to the woman whose picture appears. She looked very familiar.
He knew someone with this face and Looks. Her smile was identical to someone close to him. But who is the person? He was ransacking his brain for an answer.
He copied the address on that profile. But it was an old picture and the address is somewhat clumsy. It’s been a long time since someone logged into that account.
He traced the history and discovered that only on a certain day in a year does a new write up pop up.
Is that day special to her? Why doesn’t she write anything else on other days? Or could it be her birthday?
Theresa Mo waited for Junxie to join her on the bed but he didn’t return to the room on time.
Theresa Mo turned on her bed and thought about the activities of that day. She would have misunderstood Junxie and left him.
She would have been sobbing and nursing her wounds like Rosa, who is now filled with regrets.
The day ended with a joyful moment. She was apologised to by Luciana and after eavesdropping on Junxie’s conversation, she knew he loves her and that’s what matters to her the most.
Maybe someday he would propose to her and they would be married and live the rest of their lives happily with their kids.
Theresa didn’t realize when she drifted off to sleep. Junxie returned back into the room close to midnight.
He looked at his girl sleeping peacefully and kissed her temple. Theresa Mo shrugged in her sleep.
He stayed up watching over her sleeping calm face. She would be referred to as his Fiancee henceforth and not his girlfriend.
It’s too demeaning for Theresa Mo to be referred to as his girlfriend. She’s more than a girlfriend to him, she’s his woman. The one who made him a father.
She’s beautiful. He wished one of the kids looked like her and one like him. But no, it seemed his gene dominated hers and she gave birth to his miniature and seemed none of them has her physical attribute.
He slipped under the quilt and hugged her, holding her waist and drew her closer to his body before he slept off.
Li Guang and his wife were having a quarrel. The latter threatened he would divorce her. He can’t tolerate her untamed tongue anymore.
” Haven’t I already apologised to Theresa? Why are you still upset and angry unnecessarily?” Luciana snapped at her husband and climbed into the bed.
“You think apologises were enough to wash off the dirt you plastered on that girl and her sons?
You insulted her without knowing anything about her true personality and how she met with Junxie. You think you can expect what Junxie is capable of doing?
He may look younger than you but he is the master of Li’s family. You should respect him for the title and power vested upon him” Li Guang yelled at his wife.
The lawyer was really bitter with his wife. She came into the sitting room that morning at Li’s residence and started murmuring about the custom wear that everyone wore without complaining.
She made him lose face completely. He couldn’t even look at Junxie and Julia. Their women are nice people otherwise how will they see him henceforth.
The wizard of law as he’s popularly known is being ridiculed because of his wife. What sort of a woman is she?
Luciana didn’t reply to him again. Li Guang, not satisfied with what he was saying, added “This is the last time I will tolerate you. When next you go sassy with your words at anyone, I will get divorce with you!!”
It doesn’t take him anything to get separated from her. Their daughter was already grown up and he wants that family bond, the one Luciana wanted to destroy.
At midnight, Julia groggily walked through the door of his Mansion holding another drunken woman.
