Cheng Li sighed audibly. Looks like the involvement of Junxie and Theresa Mo came as a shock to many. He was himself surprised the day he brought the kids to the residence that fateful morning.
But what can he do? The boys were his grandsons after all. And how his son did it doesn’t really matter to him more than the excitement of being a grandfather.
” From what I discovered so far, Junxie had an accidental affair with her and didn’t see her again. Years later he stumbled upon the boys and was surprised by their resemblance to him.
After DNA confirmed that they are his kids, he knew it must be the woman he had encountered with a few years before.
That prompted him to dissolve his engagement with Yolanda Zu, his ex Fiancee. He said he was going to take responsibility for the mother of his kids.

Li Guang shook his head. Junxie did the right thing. A man should be responsible for his actions, either intentionally or not. He had made babies with Theresa, that makes her his responsibility.
Li Guang told his elder brother that he is proud of his nephew. Junxie Li has proved himself to be reputable.
But the brothers didn’t know someone was passing by and eavesdropped on their conversation.
Theresa Mo and Rita were left alone to prepare the table. On such days, the servants are just there to render support to the family members.
“Theresa, I want to ask you a question”Rita said, setting the dishes despite being refused to do anything by Carol Li.
Theresa Mo smiled. They were alone together and they could talk like two friends and sisters.
“Anything Rita,” Theresa Mo permitted. But before Rita could go ahead with her question, they heard footsteps approaching.
They looked towards the direction the steps were coming and saw Luciana. Theresa Mo sighed softly. This woman doesn’t like her and she knows it.
She approached the two women and looked around. “Where’s Carol?” She looked towards Rita. The latter looked towards Theresa.
Theresa Mo was with Carol doing the baking. Her mother in law wouldn’t let her touch anything. She says the baby in her belly shouldn’t feel stressed.
“She went out through the back door a while ago,” Theresa Mo replied. That was when Luciana pretended to see her.
She turned to look at her and sneered. She hissed and said ” Was I asking you any question?
Do you classify yourself as a member of Li’s family? You may be wearing the same polo and a sneaker but does that make you part of this family? I am asking Carol’s daughter in-law a question” Luciana snapped at her.
Both Rita and Theresa exchange glances. What wrong had Theresa done by giving an answer to her question. Rita doesn’t know when Carol left, hence Theresa helped her out.
” Have I said anything wrong, Aunt Luciana?” Theresa Mo inquired. She looked lost at why Luciana snapped at her and said so much to her in a stretch.
” Who is your aunt? That Junxie brought you here doesn’t make you my niece. You are the mother of his kids but not his wife” Luciana reproved her.
“I am his girlfriend Aunt. What difference does it make? After all, we will be married” Theresa Mo replied flippantly.
“How dare you talk back to me? Who gave You such audacity? You his girlfriend? He didn’t take you as a girlfriend but a responsibility. He took you to him to be responsible for you.
You think too highly of yourself. You used your body and face to climb into Li’s family by getting him to sleep with you and term it accidental.
Our dear Junxie Li is honorable, that’s why he decided to be responsible for you. And because of bringing your miserable self into his life, you made him break up with his fiancee of two years.
How can Junxie leave Yolanda Zu for you? You are vicious and cunning. You don’t even mind having illegitimate children, but getting him to sleep with you was your utmost priority.
Take a look at Julia. He took his time and married the woman of his choice and happily they are expecting a baby. But you are shameless and let a man have you and even birth his child to trap him..”Luciana was interrupted by Theresa’s sudden outburst.
” I won’t have you insult me. I didn’t trap Junxie Li. Whatever happens is in the past but now, he loves me as much as I love him” Theresa Mo corrected her notion.
How can this woman think so despicable about her? Had they been rivals in their previous life that she detests her so much just meeting for the first time.
Luciana laughed ” Junxie doesn’t love you! He is taking responsibility for you and wants you to think what he feels for you is love!
I would advise that you leave Junxie Li alone. Let him make a choice of a woman of his class and taste. Stop seducing him to sleep with you.
You are filthy. I won’t be surprised that you are a stripper. Learn from Rita and Julia and reserve the last bit of shame in you, walking out of his life.
You will remain the mother of his children but let him live his life happily. Find a man of your Calibre and seduce…” Luciana kept on saying horrible words at Theresa.
This time, the latter was already in tears. She just sat down and said nothing else. Is it true, was Junxie faking his love for her?
Was he being responsible for her rather than falling in love with her? How did his aunt know all about it if he hadn’t told his family members?
“Enough Aunt Luciana. You have hurt Theresa enough”Rita bellowed. She can’t imagine that Luciana is such a bad woman.
Even if she gets to know that Junxie’s display of affection towards Theresa was not genuine, does she have to slap the words across Theresa’s face?
She used her marriage to Julia as an example. Does she know the truth about their relationship? How can someone choose to be so mean to someone else?
” Do you also hate hearing the truth? What sort of women does Carol have around her?” Luciana snapped.
Tim and Lee walked in to see their mother. They couldn’t find their father anywhere hence they came to their mother.
Seeing the boys, Luciana said ” Children conceived by mischief and deception”she hissed and walked away.
The boys looked at their mother and saw her eyes red and tears run down her cheeks. Lee became angry.
” Mummy, tell me. Did she bully you? I will fight her for you,”he said. Theresa Mo looked at the boys and started sobbing.
Rita came to hold her and tried consoling her. She didn’t know she and Junxie weren’t Married.
Though she doesn’t know the circumstances under which they met, she didn’t believe what Luciana said about her.
The latter doesn’t look like a good person. She reduced the happy and cheerful Theresa Mo to a tearful woman after lashing at her with her tongue.
Unknown to Theresa Mo and Rita, Carol had really gone to invite the men when she told the younger women to set the table.
Cheng Li arrived at the dinning in the company of his brother Li Guang and was surprised to see Theresa’s head bowed and the two boys hugging her.
Rita placed her hand on her and seemed to be consoling her. Luciana returned with her daughter and looked at Theresa and sneered.
Someone at least should say the truth at times to put those who err on the right path. She’s glad that she was able to make her look remorseful for trapping her nephew Junxie.
But Junxie Li and Julia walked in with their mother walking closely behind them. She had called and waited for them to come before her and accompanied them into the house.
