NOELLE’S POV,
I feel like I can take on the world the next day and even combat training with Nolan goes smooth. Nothing seems to make me tired, and I have never fought this good before. I have some time left before I have to go train with Faith, so I decide to go visit Thorn. I have brought him some nice meat to make him happy. He is dancing on his paws when he sees me coming with the meat.
“Ooooooo yummy thank you, mistress,” he says in my mind.
I smile and stroke his big head. “It’s the least I could do after you saved me and Gabriel,” I say back to him.
Thorn digs into the food while he responds, “I thought I was going crazy I could feel everything you were feeling. The anger and then the ultimate sadness. I just knew I had to find you, mistress.”
I put my head against his neck. “I am glad you did. Don’t know where I would be without you,” I sigh.
We sit there cuddling for a while when another voice pops into my head. “I missed your beautiful butt at lunch, are you okay?” I hear Gabriel’s voice in my head say. “I am okay just wanted to see Thorn,” I answer.
I imagine his teasing expression when he says, “I already have to share you after one night together hea?”
I laugh, “Don’t be jealous I will make it up to you tonight.”
It stays silent for a little bit before he answers, “I do like the sound of that. I have been thinking about slapping those round ass cheeks of you all day.”
I bite my lip and ask, “What else have you been thinking of?”
This time it doesn’t take him long to respond, “About sucking your beautiful tits, about having you in every place I can think of, about pleasing you until you moan my name.”
A shiver goes down my spine by the thought but then I see it is time for me to go to my lesson with Faith. I send one last thought to Gabriel, “Please do all those things to me. I have to go now though but I will see you later beast.”
I quickly go to the secret door at the pool and meet Faith in the hidden place. Faith explains to me what different kinds of healing magic there are. I used blood magic on Gabriel which can heal internal damage. Then there is healing magic that heals outer wounds, but even more complex are nerve and brain healing magic. Faith tries to show me how these 2 work but I just can’t concentrate. I don’t know or it is because I am so obsessed with Gabriel at the moment or that so much happened the last couple of days.
Faith takes a deep sigh, “This is no use, Noelle. I can’t teach you anything if you can’t concentrate. I know you have a lot on your mind, but we have to find a way.” She thinks for a moment, “I can ask Zeus to teach you how to meditate so that you can find inner peace for practicing magic. He is the best meditator I know.”
I nod, “I am sorry Faith.”
Faith smiles at me and gives me a hand to get back up, “It’s okay we all have our off days. Come let’s go eat some dinner.”
We walk to Gabriel’s mountain where the rest is already waiting for us. Gabriel’s face lights up when he sees me walk into the kitchen. He is looking very yummy in his cooking gear. I jump into his arms and put my legs around his waist.
“Hey gorgeous I missed you,” he says while holding me close. We share a long kiss before I jump back to the ground and go sit with the rest. Gabriel made us some delicious meat, bread, and vegetables with a godly sauce of mushrooms. Gabriel and I are mostly talking to each other and exchanging looks not really paying attention to the others. I think at some moment I heard Holly say in the background that she doesn’t like these mate bonds so much anymore.
We are almost finished when Gabriel spills some sauce on his fingers. I take his hand and look into his eyes sensually. “I can help you with that,” I say, and I take his finger and slowly suck all the sauce from it. Gabriel looks back into my eyes with a hungry look. I just want to lean in so I can touch his crotch when I realize there are other people in this room.
I look at them blushing and the 3 of them are just staring at us with open mouths. Zeus tries to break the awkward silence and stutters, “I. ii. iii saw this bird today. I have never seen anything like it. It had so many colors. And it had such a weird snout like a flamingo. It had big wings, but it was super-fast. I wonder what species it is. Maybe it is some new evolved bird or something. Did I mention the colors it had?”
Holly rolls her eyes and says, “My god Zeus that is the worst tension breaker I have ever heard. No one cares about your stupid bird certainly not miss horny and fuckface there.”
Everyone burst out in laughter at the sound of those nicknames. I do feel bad for Zeus though, so I lean to him and say, “Faith told me you are the best meditator she knows. I could really use some help with meditating. Do you think you could teach me after dinner?”
Zeus his face lights up from hearing that he is the best meditator Faith knows. “Of course, we can start right away,” he says.
Faith mouths a thank you to me when we stand up from the table. I bring my plate to the kitchen and feel Gabriel hug me from behind. I lean into his embrace, and he whispers in my ear, “I am going to make you moan so hard tonight.” I immediately get wet by his sexy voice and the imagination of what he will do to me tonight. I quickly run after Zeus before I rip all the clothes off Gabriel his body.
Zeus takes me to a cave that is filled with lighted candles. All you can hear is water drops falling on the stones. Zeus points to a spot in the middle of all the candles, “You should sit there. Meditating in a place like this is easy but a true master can do it anywhere. You must be alone though. So, I will explain to you what you should do and then I will leave.”
I nod for him to continue, “Just close your eyes, focus on breathing in through the mouth and out through your nose. Then focus on the sound of the water drops. Ban all your other thoughts, there is only the water drops nothing else.”
When I open my eyes, Zeus has already disappeared. I take a deep sigh and close my eyes again. I sniff in the smell of the candles and the wet stones. I slow down my breathing until I have it under control without thinking. Then I focus on the water drops. Drop, drop, drop it sounds. Drop, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop but then the vision seems to change. I am suddenly in the Sea Realm. It is chaos around me I see people lying dead on the bottom of the sea, the palace is on fire, golden banners are shredded to threads, demons, and dark humans everywhere. My vision changes to a fight, there are just a few people of the Sea Kingdom left. I see Julias and Roan fighting demon after the demon and their group getting smaller by the minute. Then in my final vision, I see Roan’s head on a spike on top of the castle. Everything is burned, there are no flowers or coral left. All I see is black soil and dead bodies. My breathing quickens into panic, and I wildly open my eyes. After a few minutes, I realize I am in Liberum in a cave. I quickly run out of the cave to find help.
