GABRIEL’S POV,
Gabriel feels his hands get all sweaty and his breathing quickens when Noelle walks towards him. He can’t take his eyes off her. She couldn’t have picked a better dress for the starlight festival because she looks like the brightest star of them all. The dress follows her body so that her whole silhouette is visible. You can see her long lean legs through the fabric and the glitters show off her hourglass shape. On her breasts, there are not that many glitters which leaves little to the imagination.
He holds out his hand and she puts her hand in his when he leads her to the dance floor. The band starts to play a romantic ballad and he pulls Noelle close to him. He whispers in her ear, ”I always think you can’t get any more beautiful, but you keep surprising me.” He can feel her smile when she puts her cheek against his while they dance.
The rest of the night they have fun with Faith, Zeus, Nolan, and Holly. They all dance together and enjoy the food and the drinks. At midnight the music stops, and everyone scatters to different places on the platform.
”What is going on?” Noelle asks Gabriel.
”You will see, come let’s go find a spot,” he answers, and he pulls her with him to a secluded spot on the edge of the platform.
”What are we doing?” she asks again.
He pulls her closer and holds her in his arms, ”Look at the sky.”
They look at the sky for a few minutes and suddenly the Northern lights appear. It is an explosion of purple, green, and blue colors in the sky.
”Oh wow,” Noelle says mesmerized.
Gabriel stares at her in the reflection of the Northern lights and it feels like his heart is exploding. He has to tell her how he feels. He cannot hold it in anymore. ”Noelle?” he asks softly.
She turns to him and looks up to him with her big green eyes full of wonder, ”Yes?”
He takes her hands into his hands, ”I need to tell you something.”
Her eyes become serious, ”Okay, I am listening.”
Gabriel takes a deep breath, ”I know you have been heartbroken and maybe you still are. You have been treated badly and I understand your trust is broken. But I have loved you from the moment I saw you in the Sea Realm. These past weeks have only made me fall in love with you more. You are kind, spirited, talented, and funny. Besides that, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I think you feel something for me too, but I understand if you can’t give me what I seek right now. I just had to tell you, and I can promise you I would never betray your trust or mistreat you in any way.”
She looks at him intensely but doesn’t say anything.
It makes Gabriel nervous, so he just rambles on, ”Doesn’t help I want to rip your clothes off every time I see you of course.”
He realizes what he just said and blushes, ”O I don’t know why I said that sorry.”
Noelle puts her finger on his lips and laughs, ”Ssshh it’s fine silly I just needed some time to think.”
She puts her mouth next to his ear and whispers sensually, ”When I lay in bed at night naked there is only one person I think of.”
She puts a step back and looks at him innocently. Gabriel chuckles and takes her face in his hands and kisses her. Her lips feel soft and delicious, and he hungrily takes it all in. She opens her mouth willingly and their tongues explore each other. He pulls her body closer against his and she puts one hand in his hair.
”Uhum,” someone coughs.
Gabriel looks up annoyed to see who disturbed them. He sees that it is one of his messengers. He can’t help but feel annoyed, ”What is it?”
The messenger looks embarrassed, ”I am sorry to disturb you Gabriel but there came a letter 10 minutes ago that I think you should read.”
He hands over the letter and hurries away. Gabriel opens the envelope ”Who sends a letter at this hour?” he wonders.
His eyes quickly go over the content.
”I have to go,” he says to Noelle.
”What did it say?” she asks with big eyes.
He takes her hand, ”I will tell you soon, but we need to get the rest as well.”
They quickly gather Zeus, Faith, Holly, and Nolan and they all go back to Gabriel’s home. Gabriel puts the envelope on the table, ”I just got a letter from Roan that he wants to meet me in an hour at Hallow Forest. He says it is urgent and about Hades. That the fate of our people depends on it.”
They are all silent for a while then Nolan says, ”What if it’s a trap?”
Gabriel walks back and forth, ”It could be, but I have to go nonetheless.”
Nolan wants to go into a discussion with Gabriel, but Holly stops him, ”Gabriel is right but it doesn’t say he has to go alone. We are coming with you.”
Gabriel shakes his head, ”No it is important Liberum lives on even if I wouldn’t. It can’t without you guys.”
Noelle cuts in, ”Liberum doesn’t need me I will go with you.”
Gabriel looks at Noelle with fear in his eyes, ”It will be dangerous Noelle.”
Noelle looks at him fiercely, ”You told me I can make my own choices from now on. That I am free. Well, this is what I want.”
Gabriel smiles but his eyes don’t, ”That is true. Okay then me and Noelle will go.”
Holly looks at their clothes, ”You probably need to change.”
Noelle looks at her heels and dress, ”Yeah that would be wise.”
Holly points at Gabriel’s bedroom, ”I have some spare warrior clothes in there you can borrow.”
Gabriel already walks into the bedroom and Noelle follows him. He shuts the door after them and quickly takes off the suit to change it into black pants and a sweater. He sits down to take off his shoes when he looks at Noelle. She is standing with her butt towards him and slides off her dress. His throat goes dry when he sees she is not wearing anything under it. He stares at her round and soft butt and then she looks over her shoulder. She sees that he is staring at her, so she slowly turns around and gives him a good look on her front side. She looks into his eyes and runs her hand over her breasts. Her breasts are big, perky, and perfectly symmetrical. He feels himself getting hard and he can’t sit still anymore. She gets a satisfied little smile on her face when she notices his reaction to her body.
”YOU GUYS DONE?” Holly shouts while knocking on the door. The moment is gone, and Noelle quickly also puts on some black leather pants and a sweater. They walk to the edge of the mountain and Gabriel takes out his wings. He picks Noelle up and turns around to his friends, ”If we are not back in 3 hours then something is wrong. You all know what to do if something happens to us.”
They all nod and before they can say something more Gabriel shoots into the sky.
