The creaky sound of the door made my eyes flutter open, it was dark in the night making me wonder who the hell walked into my room which had become a new prison, a dungeon for myself,
A room with nothing but the cold bare floor and a single window, there is no bed this time around making it worse, since we came into the new house, no one had cared to check me out, it has been a full day and there was no one bringing my food, all around me was nothing but silence.
The only sound that my ear could hear was that of the chains each time I move my body, all I wished for was my powers to become stable, I don’t get why it fluctuates, it comes out of my control and disappears like it was never there,

Just as I got In front of him with tears, I lost my mind and couldn’t understand what happened next, my lips were quivering but nothing came out instead it was the beast in me talking to him.
It was one of the strange things that had kept happening to me since I clocked 16, I’m not surprised, I guess there is a lot of secrets around my birth which I’m unaware of and I don’t have the strength to pester myself about it.
I was able to stop Jason from killing my family and pack members but no one thanked me for that, I was still hated and rejected as it had always been, they took Jason away and I haven’t seen him all this while,
I was sad I yelled at him, I knows he must be pained right now.

I won’t stop hissing as my wrist and ankles ached at the shackle around them, the clanking sound of the chains at slight movement made me angrier, I felt like a slave, I wonder when I would feel love from my father, from the Royal members, from my pack members.
My life sucks so bad.
I had tried sleeping but couldn’t, the cold floor made me chill, I could only sit and rest my head on the wall, Lena was sober and won’t stop howling in anger.
“Can’t you use that powers again?” She kept asking for the umpteenth time, her tone showing nothing but exasperation.
I was even too hungry to reply to her, it pains me more that I can’t use the powers at will, I am a useless Hybrid.
Right, when I was about dozing off, the door had made the creaky sound that made my eyes flutter open only to see three human figures walked in, their faces were covered with the darkness around the room but I could notice one being dragged by them…
They pushed the person to the ground and walked away immediately.
“Hey who are you?” I asked feeling a bit frightened.
There was no reply so I scurried to the window and pushed it open allowing the bright moon to illuminate the room.
I turned back to see who the strange person was and my jaw dropped seeing it was Jason my mate. He was standing already but I could see wounds all over his body and it was bleeding, but then there was a sweet smile on his face that brightened the whole place like the sun.
“Jason” I called out with a gasp feeling my heart beat so fast.
“Elena my love” he muttered and licked his lips making it pinker and inviting to kiss…
I was about to say something when he lose balance and fell, with speed, I held his back making him fall on me instead.
I landed on my butt while he grunt in pain,
“Elena I’m sorry” he muttered with his eyes glistening,
“Sorry for what?” I asked and he smiled,
“For your butt hitting the floor, I can’t believe I’m this heavy, I feel so weak from their beating, I could have fought back but I dare not, Elena my heartbeat would not be angry with me if I touched any of them” he chuckled softly making me blush.
“You mean my father beat you up?”I asked with a deep frown.
“But Elena, why did they cage you here?…why those chains?” He asked squinting at the cuff around my wrist, I could see how angry he became.
“Jason, do you love me this much??…you took all this painful torture without fighting back just for me?” I asked and he let out a weak smile,
“I love you more than you can ever imagine, I don’t mind dying for you, I’m so sorry for ever making you cry” he replied caressing my left cheek,
“Then why did you kill my sister, even when you aren’t the one who did the act, but you knew she would die, you sent her to the grave by luring her into your Pack knowing fully well that your dad would kill her, why?” I sulked feeling pained at the thought of Scarlett being dead.
Jason’s POV
“I never planned her death, I never wanted to kill her, my father tricked me into believing he won’t hurt her, I lied that she is my mate and that was what made my father take her life since he never wanted me to have a mate” I explained and she sighed looking away,
I took my time to explain everything to her without excluding any part, especially the reason why my father initiated the war.
“So you mean Elf did that to your father?…then why?” She asked and I shrugged,
“Do you know who King Bane is?” I asked,
“Yes, he is the Dragon King, what connection did you have with him because you just used his powers back then in the war ground?” She asked.
“I don’t know, I can’t just tell!” I shrugged then held her palm softly.
“Elena, your father is in danger, we all are in danger, the whole pack is not safe,” I mumbled,
“I know, Elf right?” She asked and I nodded.
“I’m not as powerful as she is, my powers aren’t stable, we should find a way to kill her or this pack would be extinct soon, she is a demon!” Elena cried and I rested her head on my chest feeling her pains.
“We can fight her together, that is the only way to save your family, I have none now, I have no family, this is where I live and I won’t want to see anyone killed” I sighed.
“Please kill Elf for me, Dad is charmed by her, everyone trusts her, even when I had told them who she is, not a single person believed me, I don’t know her plans but I know it is evil!” She grumbled sniffing back tears,
“I’ve never fought with a demon, I don’t know how strong she is, but I’ll take the risk tomorrow, I don’t mind dying if she would also die with me” I fumed and she raised her gaze to my face,
“What?” I questioned and she knocked my forehead playfully.
“If you dare to die, I’ll slap the hell out of you…are you dying for me to live when living without you is like death itself?” She rolled her eyes making me laugh,
“But I need to make sure no one harms you again, Elf has to die” I pressed on.
“She has to die and not you, if she is stronger than you, surrender and come back here, let’s suffer together, it feels better that way” she smiled making my heart twitched,
I could swear she got the most beautiful smiles…
“Okay, I think I should break those chains now” I beamed and she arched her brow,
“Can you…” She couldn’t finish her questions before I struck the chain with a single blow causing it to shatter and break off her wrist…
“Wow!!!… Jason…” She displayed those white sets of teeth In happiness making me forget the excruciating pain I got for some moment.
I was badly injured from the torture of Alpha Darren and his men, I knew I was still in pain but I couldn’t bear seeing her bounded so I used my inner energy to break the chains causing my injuries to deepen,
“Jason, thank you so much” she squealed in glee and I forced out a smile trying to hide my pain.
But then, I couldn’t hold any longer, thick blood spurt out from my mouth and I fell but she caught me again,
“Jason!!!” She screamed seeing my eyes closed.
“Jason don’t ever die!!!” She yelled at me and I felt her tears wet my face,
I smiled and opened my eyes,
“Why would I die?…you told me not to die so I’m not dying, beautiful girl” I let out a smug making her giggle,
“You shouldn’t have used your internal…”
“Shhh” I hushed her placing my index finger over her soft lips.
“Don’t mention, you can’t be in a chain while I’m free, let’s sleep so I can heal faster for the fight with Elf…” I said and she frowned,
“Would you be strong enough to fight her?… I’m serious, never you die for me!… I won’t forgive you if you die and leave me all alone!” She whined and I couldn’t hold the huge smiles over my face,
I’ve never felt such love from anyone, her eyes were glinting with pure passion and love, her tone was exuding care and compassion, she cared for me and never wants me to suffer even if it was to save her,
Dad was wrong, he was fucking wrong in his idea about mates, I think they are the best thing to happen to any werewolf, some are unfortunate to have wrong or bad ones, but Elena is the best, she is the best mate anyone could have and I am so lucky to have her as mine.
“Have a good rest, if you aren’t strong enough, just keep calm and stay beside me” she beamed, her face so angelic, I lay on her laps while she rested her head on the wall,
I watched as her eyes flutter, it opens and closes till it finally shut, she dozed off while I stare at her unique beauty.
Her lips were parted a bit making her look so sexy, I got the chance to admire her closely, her b**bs were sumptuous with her flat belly that matched her body, I am not good at describing but I can swear she is a paragon of beauty, so perfect!

Bane’s POV.
“You can leave the room,” I said to my servant just immediately he handed the invitation letter to me,
He had told me it was from Alpha Darren of the Silver Moon Pack, I was kinda surprised because I had got no business with the werewolf since I’m more powerful and magical than all of them,
I rule the Dragon Clan who were fewer than the werewolf but got extreme powers, the last time I had anything to do with the werewolf was when she captured my heart,
That moment when Lillian of the Blue Sky Pack came here with Elf, Those moments can’t leave my head and that was all I could savour since she has vanished from the surface of the earth,
It was clear she must be dead but I just can’t bring myself into believing that, I had visited the demon clan to confirm the rumour I heard but got no useful information,
Elf her friend couldn’t also tell me where she is, instead, she preferred using it to come close to me, I hated her so deep for that and banned her from crossing the boundary…

“Lillian was pregnant for you” he spilled out and the letter fell off my grip as I felt my heart skip a beat,
I found it hard to believe, it left me transfixed in shock, the thought of having an heir with the same Hybrid left me gasping.
I had never had a child, it was said that I could never have one since I had great powers which no womb could carry the Hybrid I would form, so what I’m I just hearing?
“Mikel, are you here to play pranks on me or pull my legs?” I asked with a raised brow.
“I dare not, I couldn’t believe till I heard one of them say she knew where you child is” he blurted and my mouth gaped with my eyes widened in great shock.
