Author POV
A strong and violent wind filled the entire place, as he stood in the cave, awaiting the seer. So many questions, which are left unanswered, kept taunting his heart, he couldn’t just bring himself to understanding what the whole thing was all about, he kept wondering why the mysterious girl, filled every inch of his thoughts, he kept wondering why his demon is so crazy about her, he couldn’t stop himself from wondering, why his demon, kept yearning for the girl. In as much as he wanted to convince himself that it was ok, he knew nothing was ok, he knew something was wrong somewhere. In as much as he didn’t want what his mom said to come to pass, he just couldn’t stop his demon, from yearning for her. He know he had to do something, before it’s too late, he knew he had to do something, while he still can handle the situation.
“Your highness.” Came the deep feminine voice, with a trail of fear, sounding in it.
The atmosphere tensed up, as his aura surrounded every inch of the cave, ripping even the air, off their guards.
“What do you seek, your highness?” She asked him, with respect in her voice.
He stood staring at nothing, as he let the question sink into his head. Now that he thought about this, what exactly is here for? What does he seek? How will he present it to her? What exactly was he going to say, that’ll make sense? He couldn’t possibly tell her that some girl have been driving her crazy, right?
“Is it about the mysterious girl, haunting your thoughts?” She suddenly asked.
He didn’t seem so surprise how she knew about it, she’s a seer, and almost nothing is impossible for her.
“Yes.” He replied in his usual cold voice, with the dark aura, surrounding his voice. He could feel his demon, crawling out of him in curiosity, he could feel him, trying to take over him completely, but he tried as much as to restrain him.
“Your mate, is a hidden treasure, a hidden havoc, and a hidden calamity. Her identity, is not known by anyone, not even she, knows why she’s hidden. I’m sorry your highness, but she is a hidden gem, which only you, can find.” Her voice echoed.
He gritted his teeth, and tightened his fist, as his demon shivered in anger, trying to force its way to the surface, how could she tell him that? How could she speak to him in parables? In as much as he wanted to vent his anger on the seer, he had to restrain himself from doing something nasty. He teleported back to his room, with her words, ringing in his head, like jingle bells. He couldn’t decipher any meaning from all she said, he couldn’t understand what she meant by all she said. How is he going to find the hidden gem.
Letting out a brief sigh, he walked over to the bed, and sat on the edge, before burying his face in his palms, as so many questions, came conflicting on his mind. He didn’t give a damn about mate, he never cared to find his, but why is he being curious all of a sudden? Could it be that it has anything to do with the mysterious girl?
Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes, as the image of her, came playing in his head. Her lengthy hair, was the most beautiful he had ever seen, her long straight legs, were the most enticing sight to behold, her aura, wasn’t that of a commoner, and her wolf, was the most beautiful he’d ever seen, he just couldn’t get her off his head…
Octavia POV
It’s been days, since I last went to the woods, I’ve really been missing the place like damn! And I can’t wait to see my prince charming again.
My happiness doubled, as evening was fast approaching, and in a few hours, everywhere was dark, as everyone were already asleep. After I bade mother and father a goodbye, I stepped out of the house, and looked around the place, to be sure nobody was watching, before I finally walked my way down the usual route I do take, and soon, I was already walking in the woods, enjoying the cold and fresh air, which I’ve really missed for these past few days.
My mind wandered off to the book I saw at home earlier, and I just couldn’t help, but wonder what could be in the book. Though it was all blank, but something kept telling me there’s a hidden secret in the book, and I’m going to find out about it.
I was jolted out of my trance, as I bumped my head on a hard surface, and I staggered back. My eyes darted to a pair of shoes, and I gulped down nothing, as I felt my heart, thumping hard against my ribcage. Have I gotten myself into trouble again?
Holding my breath, I slowly looked, and was welcomed with those beautiful grey eyes, looking at me, with a smirk, settled on his face. I heaved a sigh of relief, seeing Kai, standing in front of me, with his hands folded on his chest.
“Kai?… sorry about that, wasn’t concentrating.” I smiled.
“Try to always look where you’re going. Imagine what will happen, if it was some dangerous person you just bumped into, you may have your head rolling on the ground by now.” He rolled his eyes.
“And I didn’t run into someone else, so can we stop talking about this?” I scoffed and crossed my arms on my chest.
“Whatever! Come here.” He said, and grabbed my hand, before dragging me with him, to God knows where, while I just followed him obediently. He stopped running, once we got to a particular place, with a mountain, standing in front of us.
Did you actually made me run all the way here, just to see the mountain?” I scoffed, as I crossed my arms on my chest. Like seriously? He’s so unbelievable, what’s so special about mountain, that he had to drag me here?
He didn’t say a word, as he just stretched forth his hand, and closed his eyes, looking like he was concentrating on something.
Ok is this what we’re here for?
“Kai what are you…” My voice trailed off, as I heard the sound of splashes of water, and snapping my head at the direction, my mouth dropped opened at the sight I behold…
