Chapter 92 Not My Story 3

Book:Married To My Sister's Husband Published:2024-5-1

So when Mr Zhin Feng came to the office today with a smacking proposal, I had to turn it down.
Because not only was it a trap to get me in line, but it was also a plan to take Penelope- I mean, to take Ms Xiang away from S. Group.
He even laid a very subtle threat on his way out from my office, but I didn’t know his tyranny and revenge was going to come this fast.
I often leave the office these days by 6pm since I had a few piled up work I had to finish and didn’t want it to interfere with the current ones.
And, since my penthouse is like 15mins away from the office if I take the Nightale Truck rd, I usually arrive home by 6:20pm max.
Up until today, the Nightale truck road have been a safe route home for me.
“Why have we stopped? Is there a problem with the car?” I asked in a panic when the driver suddenly stopped the car, making me jerk forward.
“The Lei… they everywhere” my drive replied afraid in English.
Lei? The notorious gang that are being funded by the Zhin family?
Could this be…? I thought, but my thoughts were interrupted as I suddenly pulled out from the car forcefully, blindfolded and knocked unconscious by some very rough strong hands.
There was no time to put up a fight as it all happened very fast.
I opened my eyes but all I met was darkness. I tried to move but my hands and legs were being restrained. I was blindfolded and tied to a chair.
I soon heard the chatter and laughter of few men in the background. I tried to move but I just ended up making the chair I was tied to screech, alerting them all and bringing their attention to me.
I knew they were all staring at me now because, the chatters and laughters all seized and all I could hear was the popping sounds of burning wood.
I felt the lingering pain at the back of my head where I was knocked unconscious, and it was throbbing.
How long was I out for? And who knows I’m missing?
Yes, my driver. Provided he wasn’t hurt or threatened by these hooligans not to call the cops, then I’m sure the police would be on there way here at any moment.
“Looks like the princess is finally awake and ready to join the party” I heard one of the goons jest in Mandarin, causing the others to burst into laughter.
They all started walking towards me but I couldn’t see them, I could only hear them drawing closer and closer.
I was afraid.
I’ve been chased before and beaten up by hooligans, but never have I been kidnapped before.
So, what’s their plan? Do they want to kill me, or just bash me up pretty bad?
Knowing a little about Zhin Feng, I’m sure he just wants to exact his authority and power, so I’ll probably just be beaten up.
I won’t be able to fight back since my hands and feet are tied up, so I’ll just have to take the beatings and hope I pass out soon enough.
Nothing I haven’t been able to withstand before, I thought as I waited for the unexpected, blindfolded.
Suddenly, I felt the blindfold taken off as I felt the sharp light rays pierce my eyes, causing me to blink rapidly in temporal discomfort.
Wait… they are letting me see their faces? This could only mean one thing…
The cops are not coming to my rescue, and I don’t think they ever will because, they’ve been bought off.
“This-is-message-from-Mr Zhin. ‘Nobody turns me down’…” one angry looking goon stated in English.
I looked up at him since he was big and quiet tall, but he punched me pretty hard to my face, making my head shift backwards violently.
“Drop your eyes when I’m standing in front of you, fool” he ordered in mandarin.
The punch was jaw breaking and I could taste the metallic and salty taste of my blood.
I spat out the blood and stared at the others as they laughed and snickered at me spitefully.
“So… what’s the plan, huh? Are you going to beat me helplessly while I’m tied to a chair like a bunch of pussies, or will you make these interesting by letting me loose?” I asked provokingly in mandarin.
But, in split seconds another punch landed on my jaw again. I couldn’t help but laughed menacingly in pain and anger.
“Let me loose, you scums!” I yelled in English this time.
I was in pain and needed these to end quickly. Soon I felt a kick to my stomach that sent me down to the floor as the chair tipped over to the side.
I groaned in pain on the floor wishing earnestly to pat my hurting stomach with my hands, but they were still tied.
The goons all came closer as they took turns kicking and hitting me with their legs, planks, rods and boards.
I winced in pain but I didn’t scream out loud, I couldn’t give them that satisfaction.
It won’t be long anyway and I’ll pass out, so I held everything in. Until I heard one of them groan in pain as he was kicked to the side.
I opened my eyes to see an unidentifiable person in an intense fight with the goons on my behalf.
The moves, the kicks and dodges were almost professional, and for the first time in a long while, I was grateful to whoever that was.
There were almost 15 goons and this lone savior came in here, ready to fight them all off. I had to help him somehow, so I moved the legs chair swiftly with all my strength and knocked down one of the goons standing in front of me.
He fell with a heavy thud on my chair and broke it with his body, setting me free. I quickly untied myself and quickly grabbed the rod the goon on the floor held.
I staggered a little bit but I shook my head vigorously to gain my body’s composure.
As I opened my eyes, I saw a goon running towards me and with all my strength I swung the rod so hard and made impact with his stomach, sending him backwards and to the floor.
I looked ahead and saw my savior still fighting off more than 6 goons all by himself, taking hits and blows after another, but not backing down.
I ran forward and started hitting whomever or whatever was in site. I swung the rod so hard and made major impacts, sending bodies on the floor around me and others crawling away for safety.
I finally reached him- the goon who punched me on the face twice, as he was faced off with my savior.
He punched my savior on the stomach and then on the face, causing him to groan and wince in pain.
I was so angry I swung the rod so hard and hit him at the back of his neck, sending him down on his knees in front of my savior.
I grabbed him by the head and made him to face me, then I said, “give this message to Mr Zhin Feng. ‘I’m here to stay, and if you don’t want to respect that, then I’m ready to battle him for supremacy’….”
I pushed him to the ground and walked pass him to thank the person who saved me.
My savior’s face was covered with a hoodie and a nose mask, but his left eye was bruise from the punches and hit he received.
