Zanaya’s POV
Two words, SECRETLY MARRIED…
That’s enough to make both our companies go weak.
And that’s just what it takes for the head of both of our agencies to march down inside our dorms.
After our bosses came together to our dorm, we all knew that either something bad had happened, or is about to happen.
And we aren’t wrong.
After Seth’s boss realized that the whole SHADOW isn’t at their dorm, he was so quick to contact our boss, whom we didn’t know have been in contact with each other because of the recent events.
I mean, both our companies had never been put together through media, except that time when Seth and I happened, like going public with our relationship.
Moreover, our boss was a little disappointed towards us especially since seven boys were inside of our dorm when in fact, they shouldn’t because all hell will break loose once media finds out.
“I can’t believe this.” His exact words.
Technically, we are not allowed to date, as the whole world knows, well, except me since I am already married.
And in our type of job, it’s unusual to see boy groups staying together in a girl group’s dorm. Or basically inappropriate in some other way.
What makes it even worse is the fact that Grey and Tokyo coming out of the room together, does not exactly make our situation any better. In fact, we were so sure it has brought concern to both our bosses.
Our boss had always treated us as his own. No matter how bad the media portray him sometimes, not even once he neglected us.
And he trusted us. So the fact that we were caught red-handed makes us feel so ashamed. Though he did not tell us, we know he was so upset.
He told us to be careful and the fact that he had not been asking our managers to stay with us 24/7 had given us enough freedom to do everything we want.
But that isn’t the problem right now.
The reason why our bosses contacted each other was that of a blind item release online about two idols who are secretly married.
Where the news came from, we don’t know. But a lot of speculations are happening online and we can’t afford to get busted right now. SHADOW will be having their comeback in three days.
And WHISTLE only released one song throughout the year.
So after all the scolding and pep talk in our dorm two days ago, both our groups ended up avoiding each other.
That means night outs, no dates, and no movie marathons.
The only time that Seth and I would see each other is through video calls.
My eyes landed on the wall clock just right at the top of my bed. In five minutes, my manager should be arriving.
Our boss called earlier asking for me to come to the office.
To be honest, I am so nervous about it.
I flinched when I felt someone tap my shoulder.
“Gosh, you scared me.” My hands landed on my chest as Cali just gave me a timid smile.
All three of them sitting in front, waiting for our manager to arrive.
It’s like a doom’s day is coming.
“We’re still coming with you, you know.” Max crossed her arms through her chest.
“Uhuh!” Tokyo nodded.
Look at this kid.
One second she was bawling her eyes out, and just a few minutes with Grey on her room made her all frenzy and all.
“I told you guys it’s fine. I can go alone.” I huffed.
They are all being overprotective. It’s not like Seth and I will see each other secretly.
Of course, we both knew the consequences of our future actions.
“We’re all in this together, Zanaya. It’s not like we did not do anything wrong.” Cali pouted. “Besides, I still feel about what happened. I’m just so glad our boss did not put a curfew on us.” She pouted.
Before I can even answer, we heard the doorbell rang, indicating that our manager already arrived.
Soon enough, we were all headed to our company.
“Yah, Zanaya, what do you think is the reason why our boss called for you?” Tokyo asked and I felt my stomach suddenly churning.
“Stop asking.” I sigh.
To be honest, I don’t know why I was being called. All I know is that they were trying to fix whatever the problem is.
Just as when van halted, I heard my phone beeping. I was about to check the message but then, we were ushered by our manager to go out.
“Just go directly to his office. He was waiting for you guys. Don’t worry, he’s already aware that you three were also coming. He pretty much knew how hard-headed you guys are.” she chuckled and we all giggled in response.
As soon as we reach the front of her office, all four of us gathered around to do a cheer which we normally do since we were trainees.
It’s quite funny though but our ceremony consists of us doing derp faces and wiggling our body.
It’s like a tradition since we don’t know what will happen right outside the door.
Just right after we did our little cheer, the door suddenly sprung open and we almost screamed in excitement.
“Oppa!” we all cheered as we hug Toni sunbae.
His eyes vanished as he laughed at our actions.
“I was waiting for you guys to come in but I didn’t know you were still doing your usual ceremonies.” he chuckled.
“Oppa…” we all whine.
“Anyways, you guys go inside. And Zanaya, we have a lot to catch up with.” he gave me a wink.
My cheeks blushed a little.
Did I say I have this huge crush on Toni oppa since I was a trainee?
He moved passed us but not before messing with my hair, like what an older brother does.
Soon enough, we all enter inside the room where our boss was talking on the phone. We all stood up in front of him but he motioned us to sit down.
I gulped.
Why does he look so serious?
After five long agonizing minutes, his call ended and he stared at us, specifically at me.
He cleared his throat then gave out a long sigh.
“You should very well know how we had been doing some damage control these past few days.” he started and I had to stare down for a moment, my hand started playing with the hem of my shirt
“We’re sorry boss,” we all apologized and he just looked down.
“I won’t beat around the bush.” he started and I felt a hand pressed my shoulder in comfort.
I turned around and realized that the girls are as just nervous as I am.
“This decision was made by both companies and Zanaya, your family is already aware of the situation.” he stated and my eyes went wide in panic, my heart beating like crazy.
This is definitely not good.
His eyes were full of worry.
“Boss…” I whispered, my voice starting to shake.
He hesitated for a moment but in the end, I know he doesn’t have a choice but to drop the bomb.
“I’m sorry Zaya-ah, but you and Seth needs to break up.”
At that, I felt my body stiffen, my eyes were blurry.
You and Seth needs to break up.
It’s as if my heart stopped beating.
The next thing I know was voices trying to get my attention, until darkness succumbs my consciousness.
I passed out.
