Zanaya’s POV
“Don’t you think this is too much?” Max asks as we put all the food that we prepare in a bag.
I am going over Seth’s dorm and decided to bring him a lot of food.
I’ve noticed how he’s getting thinner. Though I know about his concerns about him getting fat, I want him to realize that he has the perfect body.
We were about to meet the other night but I wasn’t able to do meet him because of our changes in schedule.
He was with Storm who was drinking his problems away.
The truth is, I pity both Storm and Cali.
After the incident, Cali had been acting the usual. She started talking to me and the rest of the girls.
She’s showing us that she’s okay when you can basically see in her eyes that she isn’t.
She also apologized for asking me not to communicate with Seth that time and of course, I forgave her
I had to hug her real hard in efforts to calm her down because she kept on apologizing.
The girls and I had talked about my marriage and we’ve settled things out.
I’m so glad everything had been going well, except for Cali and Storm’s relationship.
Cali told us that Storm asked her not to see each other at this time.
Of course, Cali was hurt. She was expecting that Storm will fight for them.
To be honest, I got a little frustrated with him as well but hearing that he is drinking his heart out from Seth makes me think that there is something more behind his actions.
It is so obvious that he loves her.
“Hey, please give these cookies!” Tokyo gave me a box filled with cookies.
I raised an eyebrow at her.
“And what is this for?” I asked her crossing my arms and I swear Tokyo’s cheeks turned beet red.
Something is definitely going on.
“Nothing, Zaya okay. I lost a bet so I had to give him that,” she stated but my forehead creased, even more, when I noticed the bandaids on her fingers.
“Did you bake this yourself?” I asked and Max and Cali started laughing.
“That’s impossible, Tokyo would nev-” Max stopped midway when she noticed Tokyo’s hands.
“Shut. Up!” Cali exclaimed.
“Hey, Tokyo! You never cooked for us!!!” Max started pulling the box, probably to taste one but Tokyo was faster.
“I baked some more! It’s on the fridge so let go of my kookie!” she screamed and I laughed out loud at what she said.
“I mean, the cookies!”
I rolled my eyes before I secure the lock of the bag where all the food was.
Then, I went to my room to change.
I was about to go out of the room when I heard my door opening and Max came forward, biting her lips on the process.
She looked dejected.
“Hey, is there anything wrong?” I asked a little concern.
She looked at me worriedly.
Okay?
“I think you need to postpone your trip to your husband’s dorm,” she stated my brows furrowed.
“Why?” I asked confused.
She showed me her phone and saw her Twitter feed.
SHADOW is at the airport
“Huh?” I muttered, confused.
Seth never said anything about going out of the country.
Hold up, I think Seth hadn’t contacted me since that night.
“I guess; we’ll have to finish the food ourselves?” I chuckled.
Max looked at me amused.
“You’re not mad at him?” she asked.
“A little, but I trust him enough. I know there have got to be some reason why he didn’t tell me about this little trip. Plus, I know he’s busy and he may not remember all of their schedules.”
I smiled at Max who just raised her eyebrows at me.
“You are some good wife, I see.” she loathed which earned a slap on the shoulder from me.
“Shut up, now let’s go! Might as well have a movie night with all of our food.” I giggle as I push her outside of my room.
My mind wandered to Seth.
He never forgot to send me a message. I was too busy lately that I haven’t even realized that I’m not hearing anything from him.
I may have looked okay in front of Max but somehow, I feel concerned about it.
I wave off the thoughts.
Seth must be busy.
Yeah, that should be it.
————
A sigh escaped my lips.
It has been a week since I last heard from Seth.
A week since I last heard his voice.
My chest tightened at the thought of him.
I’ve been ransacking all through my memories on anything but I can’t remember that we had an argument nor a fight. And if we actually did, it’ll be impossible for me to forget it.
I rolled my body on the other side of the bed.
The girls had been giving me looks lately.
Of course, I’m not telling them about Seth not contacting me.
What’s even worse is that I can see Tokyo talking to Grey once via video call and I didn’t have the guts to ask about Seth so I just shut up.
My hands scrolled down on my phone as I check my Twitter feeds.
SHADOW had a concert in Japan which I never knew about.
Apparently, they will be back today but I’m still not hearing anything from the fucker.
“I swear if I ever see that jerk, I will kick his ass real hard,” I told to myself.
The sound of the knocking on my door broke me off from my thoughts on how to punish Seth.
After a few seconds, my door opened and Tokyo’s grinning face emerged.
“Zaya, let’s go out?” Tokyo’s eyebrow wiggling.
I sat on my bed as she stood almightily in front of my door.
“Where to?” I lazily asked. I’m not really in the mood to go out.
“To Auntie!” she squealed and I had to stop myself from laughing.
“Are we on to our little escapade?” I asked, getting a little excited and she nodded.
It has been so long since we went out.
I quickly stood up to change.
“Meet you in the living room on ten,” she added before going out of the room.
As I was changing, my phone suddenly beeped signaling a text message.
Unknown: I lost my phone, my princess. I just got back to Korea and will have a replacement. I missed you – Seth
A relieved sigh escaped my lips.
That idiot. He should have informed me beforehand.
And then my brows furrowed.
Whose phone did he use? I have all the boy’s number.
I shrugged as I fix the cap on my head.
All black it is.
I went out of my room and saw Tokyo wearing the same.
“Don’t you think you two look a little suspicious?” Cali uttered as she munches some cookies while sitting all pretty on the cushion.
“Black top and jeans with a black mask and caps, yeah, you’re definitely not screaming idols,” Max added as she ties her hair in a loose bun.
A chuckle escaped my lips.
“This is Tokyo and Zaya’s undercover mission, okay!” I said pretending to have a gun on my hand.
Max grimaced at my actions and Tokyo just laughed.
“Why aren’t you two coming?” I asked.
“Too lazy…” Max muttered.
“Too beautiful…” Cali added which made all four of us laughing.
“Let’s go!” Tokyo pulled me closer as we wave goodbye to the two.
“Remember our last escapade?” Tokyo asked as we rode a taxi.
It’s almost nine in the evening.
I scrunched my nose in response.
“Yeah, that wasn’t really something I like to remember.”
That was when I saw Seth and Sally on a date.
It has been long but I can still remember how hurt I was that time.
Once we reach Auntie’s place, we were immediately greeted with her warm smile.
“I thought you guys forgot me. Even Cali and Max haven’t been visiting me.” she pouted.
“We’re sorry Auntie. A lot of things happened and we’re a little too busy.” Tokyo stated and I just hugged Auntie playfully.
“Fine. Just go towards your favorite seat. No one’s sitting there.” she added and we run towards the place.
We were busy chatting and taking weird photos when I spot a familiar figure walking towards a few seats away from us.
Seth, Demo along with Mara and Chloe just took a table.
Tokyo gasped in surprise.
“Zaya?” she looked at me confused and I just shrugged my shoulders.
My chest tightened at the sight of Seth laughing at Chloe.
Calm down, Zaya. That must be just a friendly date.
It was a good thing that our place was hidden from where they were seated.
There are only a few people inside the place and mostly, oldies so it’s a little safe for an idol to be here.
“Please tell me your husband isn’t cheating on you.” Tokyo deadpanned muttered and I laughed at her.
“He sent me a message earlier,” I told her and she just raised her eyebrows.
“So, he just came back and he went on a date with another girl instead of going directly to his wife?” Tokyo stated and somehow, her words stung like shit inside her.
A forced smile escaped my lips as the server came with our food.
I was busy eating, trying to get off Seth from my mind which is a little hard since he’s just a few meters away from me when my phone once again ding.
After my last bite, I checked my message and saw Demo’s name on the screen.
“We’re back in Korea. I’m back to our dorm – Seth.”
My brows furrowed.
What the heck is happening?
I’m sure Seth and he is in front of me right now.
My blood started to boil.
Are they playing on me?
I dialed Demo’s number. I watch as he picks his phone.
“Yes, Demo…” I greeted him with the sweetest voice that I have and Tokyo raised her eyebrows.
“Are you in your dorm?” I asked sweetly, though my fist is balled in anger.
He chuckled nervously, “Yes.”
“Can I talk to Seth?” I asked and I watch as he handed the phone to Seth.
I tried to stop myself from hitting the table when I saw Seth waving his hands telling him he cannot answer.
I gritted my teeth as I see Demo’s eyes widen. “Ah, Zaya, Seth is on the restroom.”
“Oh, okay. Tell him I called.” I said before I ended the call.
Tokyo looked at me worriedly as I try to calm myself down.
I looked down on the table as a tear escaped my eyes.
What bullshit is happening?
“Are you okay? Do you want me to smack the heck out of Seth right now?” she said as she automatically stood from her seat.
I pulled her arm back.
My eyes still stinging due to tears.
My throat started to hurt as I try to stop myself from crying.
“Let’s just go,” I told her as I wipe my tears away.
We were able to reach the front without them noticing me.
Once we paid for the meal, I decided to give my card to the server and paid for another.
Though confused, she just did what I said.
And then I pulled out my phone and sent a message.
“Please enjoy your dinner and don’t bother paying. I got the tab for you. Enjoy your dates. ?”
Then I hit send before I went off the restaurant, not bothering to check their reactions.
Fuck you, Seth. You’re at it again, breaking my heart.
