Chapter 39

Book:Secretly Married Published:2024-5-1

Zanaya’s POV
“Keep quiet, you two!”
Tokyo and I heard Max screaming but we still ended up running around trying to catch each other.
“Tokyo give that to me, you little piece of shit,” I screamed at her while panting and she just sticks her tongue out to piss me more.
This girl runs too fast.
Tokyo took one of my favorite lipsticks and threatened that she will be throwing it if I don’t give her Grey’s phone number.
The bitch.
I don’t even have that young man’s number and I’m not planning on asking for his number because if there’s one thing that I realized, Seth can be fucking jealous even with mosquitoes.
And it’s so hard to deal with a jealous Seth.
I swear I’d chose to stay on practice for straight eight hours rather than deal with his tantrums.
“Have you seen the comments on our IG account?” Cali called my attention and she looked at me confused.
I stopped running and sat down on the floor.
We are currently in our practice room, polishing our steps since we’re going to perform in a few university festivals.
Though a little tired from all the running, I mirrored her expression as I scan my reflection in the mirror.
I look like a mess and the hunger in me is making it hard for me to focus on anything that she’s saying.
“Yah, Zanaya, was that black sweatshirt that you were wearing yesterday owned by your boyfriend?” Max asked and I just nodded while I grab my phone in my pocket to check if I have a message from Seth.
Another thing, Seth is clingy.
Yeah, but I don’t have any objections to that. I rather find it so cute.
“Oh my God,” Cali muttered but I still did not give my attention.
I was busy laughing at the photo of Demi and Mono almost kissing that Seth sent me.
“Yah Zaya!” I spun around as I heard Cali screaming my name, annoyance can be recognized on her voice.
“Cali, why are you angry?” I asked her confused.
“Because you were too busy sending sweet messages to your boyfriend, I’m sure you don’t even realize the scandal that you’re into right now,” she muttered raising an eyebrow at me.
And then I saw Max and Tokyo shaking their heads while laughing.
I scratched the back of my head and apologized.
Scandal.
“Wait, what?” I asked a little confused as I stood up from my seat and walk towards their direction. They were surfing the net through the laptop in the practice room.
Tokyo looked at me apologetically as she bit her lip in nervousness.
“You see, I took candid pictures of you guys yesterday and posted it on Instagram but I did not know that you were wearing Seth’s clothes,” she whispered as she stares down on the ground.
“And?” I asked, urging her to continue.
“Well, obviously, the fans noticed and now, they are speculating that you two are indeed dating.”
“Not that they were wrong anyway,” Max muttered.
“Why do you two have to be so obvious?” Cali scolded me. “I mean, why would he post a picture of him with the same pose as you do just two minutes after your photo was posted online,” she added.
“And he even started singing the song that Zanaya said she likes so much.” Max Chimed in shaking her head.
“You two are lucky these are just speculations. Just make sure Dispatch won’t be catching the two of you together and you’re dead.” Cali exclaimed.
“You two need to tone it down a little.” Tokyo stood in front of me, her hands on her waist. She’s pretending like she is my Mom.
I pulled her and arm locked her head.
“You silly girl.” I laughed at her.
Tokyo and I were still playing around when I heard someone clearing her throat.
I looked around and notice my members looking dead fuck serious.
Oh no, am I really in trouble?
Now, my hands are covering my mouth in both nervousness and embarrassment.
I was so busy being giddy about the roller-coaster emotions that I am feeling with Seth that I am not able to notice these little things that fans may also notice.
To be honest, I’m scared about the fact that people might be able to find out my relationship with him, moreover, the fact that I am actually married.
I’m scared not for me but for everyone around me.
I’m scared for Seth and his member’s future… the future of my members…
I’m scared that people will not approve of it.
I’m scared that our blinks will be disappointed.
I’m scared that there may be people who might get hurt along the process.
And I’m afraid of what will happen to us.
Well, I know that we are happy now but I also know that a lot of things will come along the way as well.
“Zanaya, did you two have a promise ring?” Tokyo asked me breaking my thoughts from my trance.
“Huh?” I asked confused and there I noticed a photo of Seth with a necklace showing our wedding ring as well as a photo of mine with the same ring.
“Fuck,” I muttered.
“Woah, language young lady!” Cali raised her eyebrows and my hands landed on my neck.
My necklace is missing!
Where is my ring?
“My necklace..” I panicked.
I felt the blood draining out of my body as my heart started beating so fast.
I have never felt this nervous my entire life, except that day Seth and I almost did the deed.
Yeah, except that time.
My cheeks blushed at the thought but I immediately shake that off my mind as I remember my necklace.
Before I knew it, my eyes immediately started tearing up just the thought of losing my ring.
“Oh, have you seen my ring?” I asked them, my mind going all over.
Cali looked at me full of worry.
“No, I didn’t notice you wearing it since yesterday,” she muttered and without even thinking, I rushed out of the practice room to go home.
I can’t lose that ring.
I did not even mind the calling of our managers and I am so glad Tokyo went after me.
Once we arrived, I immediately went to my room to look for it.
I searched the entire dorm but I cannot find it. Even Tokyo helped me after she noticed a panic state.
“I did not go anywhere these past two days,” I muttered as I started crying.
After I went home from Seth’s dorm, I stayed inside our dorm because we don’t have any schedule.
I spent most of the time in my room and I did not even notice that I am missing my necklace.
The only time I went out of my dorm was today when I went to the practice room.
I immediately dialed my manager’s number.
“Hello?” I greeted, my voice shaking. Tokyo was trying to calm me down.
“Cali, can you check if there is a necklace or a ring left in our van, please? It’s so important.” I said and our manager must have realized that I’m serious so she asked me to wait.
After a few minutes, she went back on the line and I felt my heart shattered into pieces when she told me there’s nothing of the sort inside the car.
I thanked her before I hung up the phone.
“Oh my God.” I sat down on the couch as I cover my face, tears are now streaming down my cheeks.
I can’t lose my wedding ring. Seth will get mad at me.
And the fact that it is my wedding ring makes it so important.
I don’t want him to think that I’m not cherishing that one thing that serves as our bond.
“Zanaya… ” she called me worriedly and I felt her rubbed my back but that won’t calm me down.
I continued crying.
My phone started ringing and when I pulled it out, I saw Seth’s name flashing.
At that, my cries went louder.
I did not even notice Tokyo answering my phone.
I can’t lose my ring. That’s one proof that Seth is already mine.
