Yolanda Taylor had just fallen asleep when the doorbell rang.
There was a surge of anger in the back of her mind when she heard the doorbell.
It was nearly twelve o’clock and who came over to ring her doorbell? She blushed and at first thought it was a mistake, but soon after the ringing subsided, the doorbell rang a second time.
Yolanda Taylor had to get up and go downstairs, she didn’t turn on the headlights, only a night light.
She was stunned for a moment when she opened the door and saw Gwen Fox, “I thought you were traveling?”
His face was a little tired and his hair a little disheveled.
He looked down at her for a moment, then reached out and hugged her, “Came back early.”
Yolanda Taylor took two steps back and was just about to open her mouth to say let go when he had let go first.
Gwen Fox lifted her leg and walked in, also closing the door for her, going into the bathroom herself then inclining his head to look at her, “I’ll get a glass of water, you go back up and go back to sleep.”
He is from the villa side of the shower hurried over, rushed back from the airport he did not have time to drink a glass of water, back to the villa originally wanted to give Yolanda Taylor a surprise, but when he went back to the villa, see that empty room, heart immediately went down cold.
His hands even trembled a little when he called.
He’d gone on a business trip and she seemed to have disappeared out of nowhere.
All the way over, his anger flipped and flopped, and even when he stood at the door just now, he was still filled with rage.
But when the door opened and he saw her standing in front of him, he suddenly stopped being angry.
She just came back here, she didn’t run.
It was good that she hadn’t run, as long as she hadn’t run, he could forgive anything.
Yolanda Taylor looked back at him for a moment, frowning slightly at the sight of pouring her hours-old water to drink.
But she didn’t want to care, she just turned around and headed up the stairs.
Gwen Fox watched her back, only to feel the cool water in his throat as cold as ice water.
He put down the cup and subconsciously wanted to reach for a cigarette, but then he remembered that he was quitting smoking.
In fact, his addiction to cigarettes wasn’t very big, it was just that this time was too difficult.
He had enjoyed her love, and now her hate was causing him a lot of pain, but there was nothing he could do about it.
Yolanda Taylor went back to bed but couldn’t sleep, Gwen Fox was really her enemy, as long as she had him around, it was hard for her to even try to get a peaceful sleep.
But he just wouldn’t leave her alone, finding her in the middle of the night, was he trying to touch himself? She lay down on the bed and rolled over twice when Gwen Fox followed her up.
“Dear, are you asleep?”
Yolanda Taylor didn’t say anything as he lifted the covers and lay down.
Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help but move when his hand came up, “Sleep is sleep, don’t you touch me!”
“I want to hold you.”
He said and his hand landed on her waist.
Yolanda Taylor was hooked by him and her whole body went to the inside of his arms, “I’ve missed you these past few days.”
“I’ve had a great time the last few days without you.”
Gwen Fox’s heart stung and he stopped talking, holding her as she drifted off to sleep.
He had indeed missed her the last few days, and every night over there he had dreamed that she was gone when he returned.
So when he returned to the villa from the airport today and saw the room empty inside, his head went blank and his people were panicked.
Thankfully, thankfully she still answered her phone, thankfully she was just here.
Gwen Fox was fast asleep, Yolanda Taylor couldn’t sleep, but she was being held by him, trying to push him away, and it was as if his hands were fastened to something, no matter how much she pulled, he couldn’t tear his hands away.
In the end, she gave up too.
In the darkness, the sound of Gwen Fox’s breathing kept coming, reminding her that she was lying in a bed with him.
Yet there was nothing she could do, nothing she could do but wait, nothing she could do but endure.
Yolanda Taylor didn’t know how she slept through the night, and when she woke up, Gwen Fox seemed to be on the phone.
He lowered his voice, but the apartment was this big, and there was no way she couldn’t hear him talking on the phone downstairs.
She raised her hand to touch her cell phone on the side, and after checking the time, Yolanda Taylor stepped out of bed as well.
Seeing her come down, Gwen Fox put her phone aside, “I bought breakfast, your favorite tofu brain.”
Yolanda Taylor froze for a moment, looking at the tofu brain a bit lost in thought.
In fact, she and Gwen Fox were in two completely different worlds, although her family was considered a well-off family before the accident, it could only be considered a well-off family.
But Gwen Fox is not the same, their family is not generally rich, the two of them from childhood to the growing environment is not the same at all.
Not the same to the year Lamar Fox did not do anything, also just take her back to the Fox family villa, she clearly know the gap between the two people.
She grew up in the city and liked to eat a lot of things are street food, Gwen Fox once said her many times.
She used to only tolerate him when she loved him, and was forced by him to change many habits that were not considered bad habits, such as eating street food.
Before meeting Gwen Fox, her favorite thing was to eat a bowl of tofu brain and a drawer of xiao long bao every morning.
But after meeting Gwen Fox, she no longer had tofu brain for breakfast, and she hadn’t eaten tofu brain in many years.
If Gwen Fox hadn’t bought it back, she would have forgotten that she used to be so fond of the food.
But looking at it now, she felt nothing.
Thoughts returning, she looked up at Gwen Fox in front of her, “I don’t like eating it anymore.”
After saying that, she lifted her leg and entered the restroom.
Gwen Fox looked at her back and lowered her eyebrows, covering the hurt inside her dark eyes.
Gwen Fox came back, and Yolanda Taylor couldn’t stay over here anymore.
Before she left, she made up the bed and put away the towels and toothbrushes in the restroom.
Gwen Fox watched her do all this and couldn’t tell you how she felt inside.
It was as if she never belonged, and one day if something happened to him, she’d probably be the first one to run away, or maybe she was waiting for something to happen to him right now.
Yolanda Taylor cleaned up and walked out of the restroom, giving him a look, “Good to go.”
She said, leaning down to lift the garbage bag up.
Gwen Fox saw it and reached for it, “I’ll take it.”
He was forceful, and Yolanda Taylor didn’t insist.
There were trash cans in the stairwell outside, just a few steps away.
She let go and stood in the doorway, “Why don’t you throw it away and come back and wash your hands before you go.”
Hearing this from her, Gwen Fox nodded a little, then carried that trash to the stairwell and threw it inside the large trash can.
He came back soon after and washed his hands and came out to try and take her hand, Yolanda Taylor pulled on the door to avoid his hand.
Gwen Fox gave her a look, “I want to hold your hand.”
Yolanda Taylor looked at him lightly for a moment, “Are you three years old, Gwen Fox?” “If that’s what it takes to hold you, then you can pretend I’m three.”
He said, reaching out and taking her hand that was ready to be placed inside the pocket of her trench coat.
Yolanda Taylor struggled and didn’t break away, and the two were already walking to the elevator door.
