“Don’t you forget you forced me to marry you Gwen Fox!”
“You don’t have to remind me over and over again like that, I know, Dear, I know!”
He really didn’t know what to do, he’d tried so many things, but she didn’t cause to break free of this cage with him, she wanted to be trapped inside it with him.
But he didn’t want to ah, she was obviously by his side, why did he have to cocoon himself?
He reaches down and holds her in his arms, Yolanda Taylor raises her hand to try and pull away from him, but she can’t.
He lowered his head down to kiss her and Yolanda Taylor tried to avoid it but couldn’t.
“Dear, don’t you deny me!”
He let go of one hand that was holding hers and looked up at her with pleading all inside his eyes.
Yolanda Taylor was stunned for a moment, “Gwen Fox, why do you always manage to put yourself above being a victim?”
She couldn’t struggle, and she didn’t.
Gwen Fox put her on the bed, hearing her words, his movements paused for a moment, he looked down at her, suppressed pain rolling inside those deep dark eyes, “I just want the two of us to be good.”
“You are trying to deceive yourself.”
“Then you can consider me fooling myself.”
He hadn’t touched her in a really long time, five years if he did the math.
He missed her, really missed her like crazy.
She was clearly right in front of his eyes, and she was his wife, so why couldn’t he touch her? It was still cold in Borden City in April, and the night wind rattled the treetops outside.
Yolanda Taylor ducked her head sideways to avoid his kiss, and Gwen Fox stiffened in her movements as he didn’t stubbornly kiss her on the lips again, his thin lips switching places.
Eyes, nose, cheeks, one at a time, as if to evoke memories sleeping inside her body.
In fact, putting aside those love-hate relationships, she and Gwen Fox did get along quite well in the checking bed.
Although he was arrogant and full of himself, he took care of her feelings in bed.
In retrospect, she thinks that the fact that she fell in love with him so quickly probably has something to do with his tenderness and thoughtfulness in bed.
Gwen Fox knew exactly how to turn her on and how to make her submit.
Yolanda Taylor didn’t resist any more, there was always a big difference in strength between men and women at times like this, and her resisting was just making herself more miserable.
It wasn’t as if it hadn’t happened before anyway, her first man was him, and it was him now, so it didn’t seem like a big deal when she thought about it.
As her nightgown was removed, her back dipped on the cold surface of the quilt, and Yolanda Taylor’s entire being came to her senses.
She raised her hand and pushed him hard, “Don’t you touch me!”
He couldn’t push, but the mood had been broken.
Gwen Fox looked up at her, “Dear, give it to me, will you?”
He held her and wouldn’t let go, the man begging her as he kissed the side of her neck.
The breath he exhaled hit the top of her neck, it was wet and hot, Yolanda Taylor felt some dry lips and she wanted water, “I’m thirsty.”
She glanced down at him, the clothes on Gwen Fox had gotten a little disheveled.
In the light, his dark eyes were looking straight at her like a beast that had found its prey.
Her heart fluttered and her hand was clasped tighter as he lowered his head and began to kiss her on the lips.
“You-”
She’d barely opened her mouth to say a word when Gwen Fox broke in.
Her entire body was wrapped in his scent, feeling hot and dry.
Yolanda Taylor tried to dislodge the man, but couldn’t.
Gwen Fox had never been very patient, but in bed, he always had total patience.
He could take her for a full half hour, Yolanda Taylor was no match for him, she wasn’t as strong or as patient as he was, and soon she was festering.
When it was over, Yolanda Taylor let him hold her, not moving or speaking.
Gwen Fox looked down at her and only felt a bitter lump in his throat.
She used to hug him all the time, wrapping up like a water snake.
“I’ll carry you to wash up.”
He kissed her down and carried her off the bed.
Once in the bathroom, Gwen Fox realized those burn scars on her back.
His entire body froze when he saw the scars.
Just now, in the heat of the moment, he had a hard time keeping himself from losing control, but he was completely oblivious to the scars on her back.
Now that he had calmed down, the light inside the bathroom poured down and shone on Yolanda Taylor’s back, and there were ugly scars snaking around that originally smooth and white back.
Subconsciously, he remembered the fire, but he didn’t dare ask.
For the first time, Gwen Fox was afraid to face reality as he carefully lowered her inside the tub.
It took a moment for Yolanda Taylor to move as she got into the hot water, holding onto the edge of the tub, “I’ll wash myself.” He looked down at her for a moment before nodding his head a little, “Good.”
When he was done, he raised his hand and rubbed her face, trembling his lips as he placed another kiss on her forehead.
Only after the kiss did Gwen Fox get up and walk over to the shower to rinse off.
After rinsing off, he threw on a robe and glanced back at Yolanda Taylor sitting inside the tub before pulling the door open and walking out.
Yolanda Taylor was out soon after, she was tired and she had a trip to the store tomorrow.
This time Gwen Fox finally stopped stopping her from going to bed, she laid down on the bed and quickly fell asleep.
But Gwen Fox couldn’t sleep, he sat on the edge of the bed, looking at Yolanda Taylor who was already asleep, remembering that when he saw the scars on her back just now, his heart felt like it had been cut by something, it hurt so much that he could hardly breathe.
When he thought of those scars, as soon as he closed his eyes, it was as if he could go back to that year inside that blazing fire.
He tried his best to save her, but there was no way to get up to the third floor.
The fire was so big that wherever he stepped, there was fire.
Yolanda Taylor stirred in her bed, and Gwen Fox snapped back to her senses.
He helped her press the covers tighter, then turned and walked outside to light a cigarette.
As the smoke lingered, he remembered that Yolanda Taylor had once seemed to ask him to quit smoking.
But he couldn’t remember clearly, once he didn’t care about a lot of things about Yolanda Taylor, and now even if he remembered, it would only be a vague impression.
He suddenly hated himself a little.
Ten minutes later, after a cigarette was finished, Gwen Fox held it down and turned to walk back inside.
Yolanda Taylor was sleeping heavily, and he walked over to the bed, lifting the covers and carefully getting under them.
She didn’t resist when he reached over to hug her.
But he didn’t dare hold her too tightly, he was afraid of waking her up, and he was only able to hold her weakly.
“I love you.”
He lowered his head and kissed her on the forehead, then raised his hand and turned off the light.
The room was plunged into darkness, just as Yolanda Taylor was plunged into a confinement.
She felt uncomfortable, her whole body felt like it was tied tightly with ropes, and it was hard for her to move.
But she was so sleepy, she couldn’t open her eyes at all.
Yolanda Taylor frowned and winced a few times before she stopped moving.
