“I had the wedding ring ordered and wanted to take you to try it on for size and make the final changes.”
He loosened his grip and didn’t move him again.
Yolanda Taylor frowned, “No need to try it on, it fits.”
She wouldn’t have worn it anyway if it fit or not.
The two of them, CoCo and Moria, had already gone over to the other side of the parlor, leaving the two of them in this side of the hall.
Hearing her words, Gwen Fox’s thin lips pursed slightly, “The wedding hasn’t taken place yet.”
“Are you threatening me?”
“I don’t want something bad to happen at my wedding, like the ring being too loose and falling off, or too tight to fit.”
Yolanda Taylor looked up at him, and he looked at her, a light expression on his face.
The two of them stood there for a moment, until the sound of “Welcome” came, and Yolanda Taylor spoke up, “You go out and wait for me!” After saying that, she did not give him a chance to open his mouth, turned around and directly into the office to shut down the computer and pull out the keyboard, after doing all this, she picked up a side of the bag and went out.
The black Lincoln was parked in front of the door, Yolanda Taylor saw it as soon as she walked out.
She walked over and pulled the door open and got in, and Gwen Fox inclined her head to see her buckling her seatbelt before slowly starting the car.
The car hadn’t been out for long before it hit a stoplight and came to a stop, Gwen Fox inclined her head to look at her again, “When do you want to announce the date of the wedding?”
Yolanda Taylor’s hand paused, “Didn’t you have a date in mind?”
“Haven’t thought about it, I’ll announce it next Monday if that’s okay with you.”
She inclined her head at him, “If I don’t want to announce it, won’t you?”
“No.”
“So what are you asking me for? To embarrass me a little more?”
Gwen Fox’s face sank as the green light in front of him came on, and he withdrew his eyes and restarted the car.
Twenty minutes later, the car came to a stop.
Yolanda Taylor unbuckled her seatbelt and pushed the door open to get out.
This jewelry design was very famous, she had just started it when she was with Gwen Fox, and she had heard that it had won several awards over in Europe.
The designer’s name was Samuel, and he was just about forty years old, but Samuel took good care of himself and didn’t look like a forty year old man at all.
“Young Master Fox, Miss Taylor.”
Yolanda Taylor nodded and smiled lightly, “Mr. Samuel.”
“Miss Taylor let’s see if she likes it first, Young Master Fox said he wanted to surprise you so it was all his own idea without asking you. But I personally feel that Miss Taylor is its owner after all, and it’s still up to you to decide if you like it or not.” After saying that, Samuel opened the ring box on his hand.
The ring had a simple yet chic design, Yolanda Taylor actually liked it, the diamond in the center wasn’t very exaggerated, but the bright light shining under the light was enough to show that its purity wasn’t low.
She looked at it, “I like it, thanks Mr. Samuel.”
“I can’t take the credit for that, Miss Taylor has to thank Young Master Fox.”
Yolanda Taylor smiled a little but didn’t even look at Gwen Fox, “Can I try it now?”
Samuel, even if he was stupid, could see that the atmosphere between the two was not right, he didn’t speak for Gwen Fox anymore and nodded, “Sure.”
Yolanda Taylor took the ring box straight away and set it on top of her ring finger.
The ring was just the right size.
Samuel froze for a moment, “This is the size Young Master Fox gave me, was expecting it to be off.” He said and smiled a little, “Miss Taylor, of all the people who have come to me to design their rings, Young Master Fox is the first groom who can remember your finger size.”
Yolanda Taylor took off her ring, “Since it’s just the right size, there’s no need to modify it, so that’s it, thank you, Mr. Samuel.”
She finished before she inclined her head at Gwen Fox, “Can we go now?”
Coming in, from start to finish, back and forth in just five minutes, that was the only thing Yolanda Taylor had ever said to Gwen Fox.
Samuel looked at Gwen Fox, he was ten years older than Gwen Fox, Gwen Fox was not a good person to be messed with when he was sixteen or seventeen years old, and now it is even more needless to say.
But at this moment, he looked at Yolanda Taylor, there was no obvious smile on his face, but those eyes that were always arrogant and cold actually contained tenderness inside.
“Yes.”
He said, getting up and pulling on his clothes, “Excuse me, Mr. Samuel.”
After saying goodbye, the two left straight away.
Samuel couldn’t help but frown as he looked at the half meter distance that always separated the two, if he didn’t remember wrongly, back in the day, Yolanda Taylor was very fond of Gwen Fox!
But these two seemed to have had quite a lot of things happen in the past few years, and after falling out like this, they were probably going to become spiteful spouses.
Kind of a shame.
He sighed and had the ring put away.
After coming out of Samuel’s studio, Yolanda Taylor stood next to Gwen Fox’s car, “I’m going back to the store after the ring fitting.”
“I’ll give you a ride.”
“I don’t need a ride.”
There were quite a few cars on this road, so it was convenient to take a taxi.
Today, she waited for five minutes and still couldn’t get a cab.
Gwen Fox hadn’t left yet, so he pulled up to her eyes and pushed the door open sideways, “Get in, I’ll take you back.”
The expression on his face was a little cold as he said this, and the words that came out of his mouth were tinged with helplessness.
Yolanda Taylor looked at him for two seconds, but finally got into the car.
“I’ll come pick you up on Monday.”
The car stopped, Yolanda Taylor’s action of unbuckling her seatbelt paused, she inclined her head to look at him, “What do you mean?”
“The wedding date is announced on Monday.”
She looked at him and grunted, “That’s your business.”
He pursed his lips for a second, “If you don’t come over then I’ll have to have the press come over to your side of the studio.”
“Gwen Fox!” Yolanda Taylor gritted her teeth for a moment, “Do you want morning or afternoon?”
“Nine a. m. I’ll pick you up downstairs from your apartment.”
He said and paused, “It’s almost time for you to pack up and move inside the villa.”
“The wedding hasn’t happened yet!”
She said, pushing open the door and getting out of the car.
There was a loud “clunk” as the car door slammed loudly behind her.
Gwen Fox watched her back for a long moment before she drove off.
Yolanda Taylor returned to the studio with a cold look on her face, when CoCo chased after her, “boss Yolanda, something’s wrong!”
Hearing CoCo’s voice, Yolanda Taylor forced herself to calm down, “What’s wrong?” CoCo handed her her cell phone, “The two women who came inside our store just now, said on the internet that our store discriminates against the poor, and now the netizens are saying that they want to search our store with human flesh!”
“When did we discriminate?”
“She pinched the previous part when she posted the video, leaving the part where we kicked her out! They added to it after they left the store on their own, saying it was because they wanted a discount and our store discriminated against her!”
Yolanda Taylor scrolled through the comments and couldn’t help but raise a hand to rub her temples, “You have Moria cut out our surveillance, create an official number, et these two and post it.”
“Ohhh, okay, I’ll have Moria do it right away!”
One thing leads to another.
