Chapter 135 She’s going to Gwen Fox.

Book:Welcome To My Life Published:2024-6-3

Yolanda Taylor casually cooked a noodle for dinner, and would have liked to go to the studio, but looking at the time it was already a bit late, she had to turn on her computer at home to perfect this month’s wedding design drawings.
She realized she was lost in thought when her phone rang.
Yolanda Taylor was startled by the ringing of her cell phone and turned her head sideways, frowning a little when she saw the name on the caller ID.
It was Beth Garcia.
She had forgotten to message Beth Garcia when she got back last night and was probably worried about her, so she was calling today.
Yolanda Taylor hurriedly pressed the answer button, “Beth Garcia?”
“Yolanda–”
Beth Garcia’s voice on the other end of the phone wasn’t quite right, and Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help but frown, “What’s wrong?”
“Are you okay, Yolanda?”
Beth Garcia was a little skeptical at first as to whether or not it was Gwen Fox who had gotten Yolanda Taylor out of the house, and it wasn’t until a few days ago, when Gwen Fox disappeared as well, that she was convinced that Yolanda Taylor’s disappearance was more than likely related to Gwen Fox.
“It’s okay, I’m sorry, I came back yesterday in bad spirits and forgot to send you a message.” “It’s okay, Yolanda.”
After knowing Beth Garcia for so many years, although she and Beth Garcia almost broke contact during the three years of memory loss, Yolanda Taylor still knew Beth Garcia.
Through the phone, she could still hear Beth Garcia’s hesitant words.
Yolanda Taylor’s frown deepened a few more points, “Is something wrong, Beth Garcia?”
Beth Garcia on the other end of the phone looked at the computer in front of her with a tangled expression on her face.
Hearing Yolanda Taylor’s voice, she bit her lip, “Yolanda, have you been online today?”
“Not yet.”
She got up a little early in the morning, but she only really got up after talking to Primo Jones on the phone, and after breakfast she turned on the computer to work on her designs, only that when she thought about yesterday’s events, she couldn’t keep still.
“Gwen Fox is back, and now it’s rumored all over the internet that you and Gwen Fox are licensed to be married.”
In just ten days, the groom had changed to an old flame, which seemed to be a confirmation that Yolanda Taylor’s disappearance was a case of going off to elope with Gwen Fox.
Of course, Beth Garcia didn’t dare to say anything to Yolanda Taylor, but she could only remind her in a subtle way.
When Yolanda Taylor and Gwen Fox separated four years ago, there was a lot of malicious speculation on the internet, but obviously, Yolanda Taylor doesn’t care about those online comments.
So this time, Beth Garcia specially called to give Yolanda Taylor a mental preparation besides caring about her.
Yolanda Taylor probably wouldn’t have thought that yesterday she and Gwen Fox had just received their license, and today Gwen Fox has already admitted to the media that he and Yolanda Taylor are married, and the two of them are legally married.
As for the previous Yolanda Taylor suddenly disappeared in the marriage wedding with Primo Jones, he did not respond to the media speculation whether they eloped, he did not admit or deny.
Now it’s expected that a bunch of media are squatting underneath Yolanda Taylor’s apartment and maybe the studio as well.
This whole thing is obviously not the same severity as the separation back then, which is why Beth Garcia was such a subtle reminder.
Yolanda Taylor really didn’t expect Gwen Fox to announce that the two were licensed, and when she heard Beth Garcia’s words, she reacted in a very matter-of-fact way, “What did it say?”
She guessed that those gossip media, were probably saying that she and Gwen Fox had rekindled their old relationship and woke up on the eve of the wedding, and that’s why she disappeared with Gwen Fox on the eve of the wedding.
“Just read the link I sent you, it’s not a simple thing, you might want to be prepared.”
Beth Garcia really didn’t know how to say this, so she had to. Yolanda Taylor pursed her lips for a second, “Okay, I’ll check it out.”
“Yolanda–”
Beth Garcia remembered that when Yolanda Taylor had just separated from Gwen Fox, she seemed to be like this, plain as if nothing had happened, but who would have thought that in just two or three months’ time, she suddenly burst into a huge fire and then burned herself.
After many years, she thought about it again, knowing that now, Beth Garcia is still a little afraid: “If you are not happy, you can find me, I’m pregnant, and also want to find someone to talk to.”
Feeling Beth Garcia’s kindness, she smiled a little, “Okay, I know.”
Hanging up the phone, the smile on Yolanda Taylor’s face all but faded as she logged into WhatsApp, found Beth Garcia’s dialog box, and tapped in the link she sent.
After it buffered, Yolanda Taylor’s face went white.
She looked at the title at the top of that link and just felt something hit her brain so hard that her head went blank, her hand trembled, and that phone fell right out of her hand, hitting her toes.
At this time, Yolanda Taylor came back to God, lowered her head and looked at the cell phone that fell on the ground in a daze, only to feel a coldness from the soles of her feet all the way up, spreading to all the limbs and bones, the whole person is like ice.
Yolanda Taylor gritted her teeth, leaned down and picked up the cell phone, reading the message word by word.
“Today, FG Group’s President Fox suddenly announced that he and Miss Yolanda Taylor have been licensed to be married, and the two and will hold a … wedding in the next few days.”
Yolanda Taylor thought Gwen Fox must be crazy!
She was shaking in her person and grabbed her coat and just lifted her leg and walked out.
She was going to find Gwen Fox! However pulling the door open, the cold wind outside hit her in the face and it was as if she had been slapped in the face, suddenly she came to her senses.
She couldn’t go to Gwen Fox right now, she had a lunch date with Primo Jones.
It was all over the internet now about her and Gwen Fox, Primo Jones and his family were bound to have seen it, and she had to give them an explanation at lunch today!
After realizing this, Yolanda Taylor was much calmer.
At eleven-thirty Primo Jones called her and said that he had arrived downstairs.
Yolanda Taylor drew a tissue and wiped her face, looking at herself inside the mirror without tear stains before she turned to walk out.
It was almost always below freezing in Borden City in December, and Yolanda Taylor’s hands shook in the cold just as she stepped outside.
Primo Jones’ car was parked across the street and she ran over to it.
The door was pushed open and she sat sideways, “Thanks.”
Primo Jones glanced at her and saw that there was no color on her face, and wondered if she knew about today’s events or if she didn’t know yet.
The car slowly drove out of the parking lot and Yolanda Taylor pursed her lips, “I’m sorry.”
Hearing her words, Primo Jones raised an eyebrow, “You know?”
“Uh-huh.”
Her face was cold, her eyes looking ahead but without any focus.
Primo Jones frowned a little, “How did you get a license with him?”
Although they hadn’t known each other for too long, Primo Jones kind of knew Yolanda Taylor, and knew that she wouldn’t do anything that went back on her word, and since the two of them had already held a wedding, it was impossible for her to turn around and marry Gwen Fox.
Moreover, when he found her yesterday, she was clearly eager to run away from Gwen Fox and wanted to come back as soon as possible.
There was no way Yolanda Taylor would marry Gwen Fox unless she was forced to!
