Yolanda Taylor looked at him and for some reason subconsciously thought of that dream from an hour ago.
She subconsciously tried to stand up, but realized that her wedding dress made it a little difficult for her to move.
Yolanda Taylor managed to stand up, but she was unsteady and swayed a bit.
She quickly reached out to hold onto the dresser in front of her, and just as she stood, Gwen Fox stepped in front of her.
He raised his hand and touched her face, Yolanda Taylor wanted to duck, but she was too late and could only watch as his fingertips landed on her cheek.
She felt her heart flutter, “Gwen Fox, today is my wedding to Primo Jones, ninety percent of the guests outside are people you know, and with a bunch of press at the door, if you mess up-”
Here, Yolanda Taylor couldn’t go on.
Lamar Fox is dead, and Gwen Fox doesn’t care about the Fox family’s reputation.
Most people looked at such a lovey-dovey affair as an after-dinner joke, and the real impact would be on the reputation of the few of them involved, which wouldn’t make a big impact on FG at all.
“Why don’t you go on?”
He withdrew his hand, his dark eyes heavy with hostility.
Yolanda Taylor wanted to call Primo Jones, but her hand moved before she remembered that her cell phone was inside CoCo’s bag.
She pursed her lips for a second, her red lips with lip glaze were like jelly, the makeup on her face today was exquisite and good-looking, and she was wearing a white wedding gown, exactly as he had imagined.
The only thing that was different was probably the fact that the person she was marrying was not himself, but Primo Jones.
Gwen Fox’s face chilled a little at the thought, “I gave you a chance Dear, if you had just told me you didn’t want to get married, I wouldn’t have let things get so bad, but you didn’t, you wanted to marry him, and to this day, you still haven’t wavered in your thoughts.”
From the time he found out she was marrying Primo Jones until now, he had waited for her to regret it, for her to say no.
He’d thought that she’d just put on a show for him, that he’d confessed and been remorseful and she’d stop marrying someone else, but she hadn’t.
Thinking about this, pain like Gwen Fox had never felt before spread across his heart, he looked into her cold eyes and smiled, “Now, I don’t want to give you another chance.” If he gave her another chance, she would really have to marry someone else!
“What are you going to do? Are you out of your mind, Gwen Fox? There’s Primo Jones’ men all over this place, you can’t take me, so why do you have to make things so embarrassing! You–”
Before Yolanda Taylor could finish her sentence, Gwen Fox suddenly took her into his arms forcefully, “Good girl.”
He stroked her head, then took something and threw it into her mouth.
Yolanda Taylor tried to spit it out, but he raised his hand and closed her jaw, and she swallowed it right down.
Or didn’t swallow, something melted inside her mouth.
She struggled to open her mouth and spit it out, but Gwen Fox’s hand on her chin was like a fixed piece of iron, too tight for her to break free.
It took about ten seconds before he let go.
Yolanda Taylor spat a few times, but nothing came out.
Shaking with anger, she raised her hand and slapped him, “What did you feed me! What the hell do you want!”
Gwen Fox caught her hand and touched her knuckles, “Doesn’t it hurt to hit her that hard?”
He finished, frowned a little, then rubbed her knuckles.
Yolanda Taylor looked at the swollen slap marks on his face and her eyes instantly turned red, “Gwen Fox you let go of me!” But he wouldn’t let go, the hands clasped around her waist were so strong it was as if he was trying to rub her into him.
“What did you feed me!”
Gradually, Yolanda Taylor felt out of sorts, her vision was a little blurry and her head seemed to be starting to spin.
“Be good Dear don’t be afraid, it’s just to make you sleep.”
His words Yolanda Taylor could no longer hear him in the end, she felt her whole body fall over and then there was no point in any kind of consciousness.
Seeing that she had fainted, Gwen Fox only then took the clothes aside and changed them for her, changing them before letting the person outside the door in, “Put the wedding dress on.”
The woman nodded hurriedly and was about to say something when Gwen Fox had already carried Yolanda Taylor out. Primo Jones intended to go to the dressing room to check on Yolanda Taylor after dealing with the guests, when he pushed the door in, he found Yolanda Taylor lying on the sofa, as if she was asleep.
Seeing her like this, he couldn’t help but feel a little worried and rushed over to her, “Yolanda, where are you having trouble?”
“Dizziness.” “Yolanda Taylor,” came the feeble response, and Primo Jones frowned a little, “Shall I get you a glass of water?”
“I’m trying to get some sleep.”
She raised her hand and Primo Jones helped her to straighten her hair, suddenly, when he saw the neck of Yolanda Taylor, he couldn’t help but be stunned for a moment, he raised his hand and lifted the person who was lying on the sofa, looking at the unfamiliar face in front of his eyes, “You’re not Yolanda Taylor, where is my wife?”
The woman shook her head, “I don’t know, I woke up here.”
Primo Jones sneered, “Gwen Fox sent you?”
“Who is Gwen Fox?”
The woman didn’t know the first thing she asked, but Primo Jones wasn’t so easily fooled.
He made a phone call to let the wedding be canceled and then went straight out the door to find Gwen Fox.
Gwen Fox was in front of the hotel, leaning against her car and smoking.
Primo Jones saw him and walked over and grabbed him by the collar, “Where did you get Yolanda?”
Gwen Fox frowned, “Yolanda Taylor is missing?!”
Primo Jones looked at the surprise inside his eyes and couldn’t help but wonder a little if he was overthinking things.
But if Yolanda Taylor was gone, who else would have taken her but Gwen Fox? The wedding had been canceled out of the blue, and no one knew why.
Primo Jones’s cell phone was busted, and he ended up just setting up missed calls.
Just as he looks up, he sees Gwen Fox about to leave.
Primo Jones went over to him and pulled him back, “You give me Yolanda!”
“Yolanda Taylor is missing, instead of sending someone to pull the surveillance to find her, you’re here pestering me, Primo Jones, do you really love her?”
He finished, lifting his hand as he plucked away Primo Jones’ hand, then pulled open the door and went inside the car.
Primo Jones wouldn’t let him go, he reached out and pulled on the car door, “Gwen Fox, why are you giving me the benefit of the doubt, no one but you would do such a heartless thing! You take Yolanda away now, have you thought about what public opinion will say about her later?”
“Let go! I’m going to find her!”
He grimaced as if Primo Jones was going to swing and hit if he didn’t let go.
The two men stared at each other for a while, and in the end it was Gwen Fox who took advantage of Primo Jones’ cell phone ringing yet again before slamming the door of the car firmly shut with all her might, then stepping on the gas and taking off.
Primo Jones looked at the shadow of Gwen Fox’s car, his face stiffened, and he raised his hand and threw the cell phone in his hand to the ground.
The cell phone was in pieces and broke on the spot.
But he didn’t even look at it, reached up and tugged on his tie, turned around and re-entered the hotel.
