Yolanda Taylor came out of the shower to find Primo Jones on the couch in what seemed to be an even deeper sleep, the quilt seemed a little heavy and had fallen much further to the floor.
She lifted her leg and walked over to him, afraid of waking him up, carefully lifted the quilt up and re-covered it, and moved the lazy sofa aside to the edge of the sofa, lest Primo Jones woke up from his sleep and didn’t pay attention then, and dropped it as soon as he lifted his foot.
After doing all this, she turned around and went upstairs.
Primo Jones stayed abroad for only six days, five out of the six days were sleepless, and it was not easy for him to get jet lagged back before he had to return home.
The ten-hour flight had made him tired, and he had planned to come over to have dinner with Yolanda Taylor before leaving, but he fell asleep without realizing it.
He was really sleepy, in the past, such a clean person, windy and dusty, did not even take a shower before falling asleep.
In the middle of the night.
Primo Jones opened his eyes, his foot kicked against something and he drifted off a bit, sitting up and looking at the quilt on his body, he remembered that he was still inside Yolanda Taylor’s apartment.
He frowned a little and looked at the time, realizing that it was after four in the morning.
Primo Jones couldn’t sleep after six or seven hours of sleep, he sat on the couch for a while before he got up and got his clothes out of his suitcase and went into the bathroom to take a shower.
It was already past five in the morning when he got out of the shower, but winter mornings light up late, and it was pitch black outside.
Yolanda Taylor was probably asleep at this moment, he turned on the computer, bit an unlit cigarette to read the work emails in the mailbox, until after seven in the morning, Primo Jones went downstairs to buy breakfast up.
He had just pushed open the door when he bumped into Yolanda Taylor coming out of the bathroom.
Primo Jones raised an eyebrow, “Awake so early today?”
She laughed a little, “I was going to get up and make breakfast.”
I didn’t realize he had already gone downstairs to buy it.
Primo Jones put breakfast on the table and glanced at her, “Been busy lately?”
Yolanda Taylor shook her head, “It’s okay.”
Because she was getting married, Yolanda Taylor had put off a few weddings, but anything she was asked to design, she put off.
She had revised her old wedding site design and added many details.
When she was designing her wedding, she never imagined how grand her wedding would be, and although she has helped many people design many lavish and grand weddings, Yolanda Taylor herself only likes low-key and simple wedding designs.
Five years ago, the design is actually a little out of date, but she chose a warm style, the expected scene is not very big, I did not expect that his wedding with Primo Jones will actually be used.
“Getting married, President Taylor might as well give herself a break.”
Yolanda Taylor heard the teasing in his words, smiled, but did not care: “Listen to President Jones.”
After breakfast Primo Jones headed back to the office, he had driven over last night and just happened to drop her off at the studio on his way.
The two were talking about the wedding arrangements in a few days when they came out of the apartment, and no one noticed that Gwen Fox was in one of the cars in the parking lot out front.
Yolanda Taylor felt someone looking at her, and she subconsciously looked up, but there were so many cars parked in front of her that she couldn’t find anything different about any of them when she looked at them one by one.
Seeing her frown, Primo Jones couldn’t help but ask, “What’s wrong?”
Not wanting to make a scene, she shook her head, “Nothing.”
With that, she tugged at the scarf around her neck and scrunched her face in.
This melting snow day was indeed much colder than the snow day.
Inside the expensive and low-profile black sedan, the windows were all specially treated so that only the people inside could see outside, while the people outside could not see inside.
So Gwen Fox inside the car could clearly see the knitted brows of Yolanda Taylor’s face, and the Yolanda Taylor with Primo Jones nowadays reminded him of the time when she was with himself a few years ago, which seemed to be the same.
He came back one day earlier than Primo Jones, the day he came back to Borden City snowed heavily, he came back to the course of the cold fever, the next day did not go back to the company, in the villa inside the day to lie down, in the evening unconsciously drove the car to her apartment downstairs.
When Primo Jones arrived, he had just lit a cigarette, and then he saw Primo Jones dragging his suitcase out of the car and into the apartment, and then he didn’t see Primo Jones again for the whole night.
All night.
Primo Jones was in there all night.
He looked out the car window at the two men, the car was fully heated, but he still felt cold.
Yolanda Taylor got into the car and subconsciously glanced in the rearview mirror.
But she didn’t see anything.
Pursing her lips for a moment, she also stopped thinking about it, thinking that she should be overthinking it, and that Gwen Fox should still be over in Germany at this time and not back.
The car soon stopped at the road in front of her studio, Yolanda Taylor unbuckled her seatbelt, “I’m getting off.”
At this moment, it happened to be the rush hour, she didn’t delay, and hurriedly lifted her leg and got out of the car.
Primo Jones watched her walk inside the store before starting the car and driving towards the office.
Yolanda Taylor had just entered the store when CoCo ran over, “boss Yolanda, someone is looking for you!”
“Hmm?”
She raised an eyebrow, “Looking for me?”
CoCo glanced over to the VIP room, “It feels as if they’re coming from a bad place.”
Yolanda Taylor frowned a little, “Why don’t you make me some flower tea and come in.”
She said, taking her coat off, then lifting her leg into the VIP room there.
Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help but be stunned for a moment when she saw Lena, but soon, she recovered and sat down across from her, smiling faintly, “It’s been a long time, Miss Lena.”
“It’s been a long time, Yolanda Taylor, I didn’t realize that after not seeing you for four years, you’ve now transformed into Primo Jones’ fiancée, it’s really remarkable.”
This Lena and Xenia Davis are BFFs since childhood, Yolanda Taylor didn’t suffer a lot of trouble from her in the past, now hearing this from her, Yolanda Taylor knows that CoCo is right, this person is indeed coming from a bad place.
“Miss Lena is here, what’s the matter?”
“Of course there’s something, why would I come to see you if there’s nothing wrong?”
She said, raised her hand and moved a card in front of her eyes, “I’m getting married next March, I’ve seen your wedding design, it’s really quite good, anyway, we’ve known each other for a while, I don’t think you’ll turn me down, right?”
Lena paused, “By the way, there’s one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in this card, consider it as a deposit, for my wedding, a budget of three million dollars or less, you can design it any way you like, but on the condition that it’s going to amaze me.” Yolanda Taylor looked at the bank card she had placed on the desktop and didn’t say anything.
This was indeed a big deal, if she followed it, the studio would have earned back the various miscellaneous expenses for the past six months or so.
But Yolanda Taylor also knew that this Lena was not a forgiving person.
She pursed her lips for a second and raised her hand to push the bank card back, “Sorry about that, Miss Lena, I guess I’m not capable of that.”
