Yolanda Taylor didn’t struggle either, and her reaction like this undoubtedly gave Gwen Fox silent encouragement, however, at this time, the door was knocked on all of a sudden: “Is there anyone inside? I’m a police officer-”
Gwen Fox was stunned for a moment, and before he could react, Yolanda Taylor had already pushed him out of the way, and while he wasn’t paying attention, she reversed and opened the door, then darted out.
“Comrade police, this man broke inside my house with the intention of violating me!”
She said as she raised her hand and wiped her lips as if there was something disgusting where he had just kissed her.
Gwen Fox looked at her and the few moments of joy she had just felt were ripped away by this sudden accusation.
“This gentleman, please come back with us.”
“Miss Taylor, please come back with us for a statement as well.”
Yolanda Taylor froze for a moment, she just wanted to get rid of him, she didn’t want to make such a big deal out of it.
But now the police were already in front of her, if she didn’t go back to take a statement, she would be filing a false police report.
She pursed her lips for a second, “Can I go in and change my shirt?”
When Gwen Fox came, she had just woken up from a nap, and what she was wearing underneath her jacket was still pajamas.
Hearing her words, the two policemen nodded.
From start to finish, Gwen Fox didn’t say a word, he just looked at her deadpan.
Yolanda Taylor went upstairs to change her clothes and followed her back to the police station, but because the two knew each other, Gwen Fox was not detained in the end.
It was after eleven at night when she got out of the police station, and Yolanda Taylor took a cab back.
She had gotten over her cold, but after walking around at night, she started to feel a little dizzy again.
After returning to her apartment, Yolanda Taylor directly fell into bed and went to sleep.
When she woke up the next day, she realized that the news that she and Gwen Fox had gone to the police station last night was everywhere.
Yolanda Taylor hurriedly looked at the news, flipped to Primo Jones’ WhatsApp and sent a question mark, then got up and washed up.
Last night’s porridge had been cooking all night and was now fragrant and soft.
She was so hungry that she sat on the dining table to drink the porridge after washing up.
Primo Jones’ call came around this time, Yolanda Taylor saw the caller ID and raised her eyebrows slightly, answering the phone with her left hand, “It’s me, Yolanda Taylor.”
“What happened last night?”
Yolanda Taylor didn’t expect it to be that big a deal, and now the entire Borden City was discussing what exactly happened between her and Gwen Fox last night, and it ended up inside the police station.
Primo Jones probably also read those gossip news and called her.
She pursed her lips for a second, “It’s nothing, it’s just that he came to me and wouldn’t leave, so I called the police ahead of time.”
“Didn’t do anything to you, did he?”
“Nope.”
Probably the only good thing about Gwen Fox was that he’d never laid a hand on her, even when he was angry, he’d never hit her once.
“I’ll be back this afternoon, so we can have dinner tonight?”
“Okay.”
Hanging up the phone, Yolanda Taylor looked at her cell phone and lost her mind for a while, and only after a long time did she continue to drink congee.
After breakfast she went straight out the door to the store, there aren’t as many people getting married in November as there are in October, probably because there aren’t many good days, Yolanda Taylor had a rare moment of leisure and planned to update those wedding templates in the store.
She had just turned on her computer when CoCo suddenly rushed in and pulled her, “Boss Yolanda, you’ve got to hide, Genk said that there’s a group of reporters outside who want to interview you, he can’t stop them!”
Yolanda Taylor frowned for a moment, picking up her bag and wanting to leave through the side door, but she had already heard footsteps coming towards her office here.
In the end, she had no choice but to hide inside there in the bridal room.
She had just ducked in when the group of reporters crowded in.
Yolanda Taylor hid behind the wedding dress and looked at the group of reporters, her cell phone turned on silent and took pictures of them all.
CoCo grumbled and kicked them out, but the reporters didn’t seem to believe her and looked around trying to find a place to hide.
Because two employees were transferred to the store today, and five others went to set up the wedding site, and are still not back yet, CoCo and Genk are the only two people left in the store to look after the store.
The reporters who rushed in were seven in total, three men and four women, a few of them were familiar faces, Yolanda Taylor recognized them.
She looked at the people who were still unwilling to leave through the gap of the wedding dress, and her face gradually turned cold, so bold, if there was no one behind, she really didn’t believe it.
CoCo and Genk two people finally drive people away, Yolanda Taylor also did not dare to come out immediately.
These gossip journalists, she knew exactly what they were like, and they might kill her later.
She took her cell phone and sent a message to CoCo, asking her not to come in for the time being.
About half an hour later, CoCo pushed the door in, “boss Yolanda, they’re all gone.”
Yolanda Taylor was replying to Primo Jones’ message, when she heard CoCo’s words, she looked up at her and laughed a little, “It’s hard to say, these gossip journalists are like human beings, they might be squatting on whichever street outside waiting for me right now!”
She has not taken a driver’s license, when she was busy earning money in college, just graduated Gwen Fox and she was separated, and then she burned herself in a fire and burned the past, the three years of amnesia inside the place where she lives from her studio is just a walk of more than ten minutes away, so she has not remembered to take a driver’s license.
Now that she was going back, she still had to take a taxi, and those guys might be squatting outside, so she couldn’t go back now either.
CoCo was inexperienced with this kind of thing, and her face was shocked when she heard her words, “Huh? Why are they so nasty?!”
Yolanda Taylor glanced at her cell phone, “Don’t mind them, Hannah are they back yet?”
CoCo heard her and shifted her attention as well, “The bride’s side left them for dinner, they said they might not be back until after one.”
“Okay, go out and get busy, if they come back, just call the police.”
Yolanda Taylor stayed inside the store all day until Primo Jones came by to pick her up a little after six in the afternoon and she left.
Across the street from the milk tea store there were indeed two unrelenting journalists who had been squatting for her and taking pictures when they saw her come out.
Yolanda Taylor fastened her seatbelt and inclined her head to look at the two women outside the car window, her face cold.
Primo Jones on the side saw her looking outside and couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, “What are you looking at?”
“The reporters that came in around this morning.”
Primo Jones snorted coldly, “I’ve already asked Rhonda to give their family company a warning.”
This is if he can’t understand people anymore.
Yolanda Taylor withdrew her eyes, “Thank you.”
“Well, fiancée think about what you want to eat later.”
He said and paused, “But you’re still coming down with a cold, you need to eat lightly.”
Yolanda Taylor cocked her head at him, “That’ll just have to be President Jones.”
The two ended up going to a pampered western dinner, and after dinner, Primo Jones gave her a ride back.
