Chapter 13 Gwen Fox, Don’t Go Too Far

Book:Welcome To My Life Published:2024-6-3

Yolanda Taylor didn’t eat much at this meal, firstly, because she ran into Xenia Davis who was so appetizing, and secondly, because she had just recovered from a serious illness, so she really didn’t have much of an appetite.
After the meal, Martin Anderson wanted to take her to have congee, but Yolanda Taylor refused.
She had only just recovered from a high fever and was a bit out of sorts, so she wanted to go back and rest early.
Seeing that her face did not look very good, Martin Anderson did not say anything and drove her back.
“Thanks.”
Yolanda Taylor unbuckled her seatbelt and was about to get out of the car when Martin Anderson, who was on the side, called out to her all of a sudden, “Yolanda Taylor.” “Hmm?”
“What do you think are the chances of success if I pursue you?”
Hearing his words, Yolanda Taylor froze for a moment, “You … don’t joke.”
She really didn’t have the slightest bit of heart for this right now, Gwen Fox had already broken her bones, she didn’t have two lives to toss around.
“Go back, I am just asking, after all, I do not have a favorite person, and we know each other for so many years, it seems good to be together.”
Regardless of whether his statement was true or not, Yolanda Taylor was finally relieved, “Well, you’ll have to ask Mr. Anderson if he’d be happy to have a woman like me in the door of THE Anderson family first!”
After saying that, she pushed open the door and got out of the car, waving back, “Good night, I’m going back, drive carefully.”
“Good night.”
Martin Anderson looked at her and lifted his hand and made a heart.
Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help but smile and took out her door card and went inside the apartment.
She had just gotten out from inside the elevator when she saw the Gwen Fox that was leaning against her doorway.
Yolanda Taylor frowned for a moment, then walked over to him with a crooked smile, “Looking for me?”
Gwen Fox stubbed out his cigarette, “Did Martin Anderson send you back?”
“There’s nothing to do so I’m going in first to rest.”
With that said, Yolanda Taylor opened the door and was about to enter before Gwen Fox opened her mouth, “There’s something I wanted to talk to you about.”
She inclined her head at him and lifted her leg to go in first.
Yolanda Taylor went into the kitchen and came out with two more glasses of warm water in her hand, “What is it?”
Gwen Fox looked at her and smiled slightly, “I remember you used to talk about wanting to go to England to further your education.”
Hearing him bring up the past in such a flat manner, Yolanda Taylor’s grip on the cup tightened slightly, “What do you want?”
She had a vague idea in her heart, but she found it unbelievable.
She has been with Gwen Fox for three years, even if there is no credit, there is also hard work, and now that she is separated, she is also at peace, there is no need for him to be so heartless.
However, the next second, Gwen Fox’s words broke all her fantasies: “I want to send you abroad.”
When he said this, the smile on his face remained unchanged, and his pair of dark eyes looked at her as if he was exactly the same as before when he touched her face and said that she was really good looking.
Yolanda Taylor only felt her heart being scratched by something so hard that it hurt and she jerked subconsciously.
“You’re kicking me out?”
“There’s nothing I can do if you’re going to interpret it that way.”
He shrugged a little, his handsome face looking very innocent.
Yolanda Taylor directly threw the glass of water in her hand at him, “Gwen Fox, don’t go too far!”
Her whole body was shaking, standing up and pointing at the door, Yolanda Taylor directly let him get out, “You get out of here, Gwen Fox!” It was too much!
How could he do this to her!
How could he!
Gwen Fox’s brow twitched slightly as he reached over and pulled a couple of paper towels from the coffee table, slowly and methodically wiping the water from his face and loosening another collar button before he got up to look at her, “You’re on your own then.”
“Don’t worry, I, Yolanda Taylor, wouldn’t beg a word from you even if I died in front of you!”
She lifted her leg and walked to the foyer, pulling the door open to look back at him with cold eyes.
Gwen Fox’s face went cold as well, and without saying anything else, he went straight out the door.
No sooner had he left than Yolanda Taylor threw the door shut with a bang.
After the door closed, she finally couldn’t hold on and slid down the door panel.
