Yolanda Taylor woke up to a gust of wind as she exited the hotel.
Inside her cell phone was a message of constant arrivals, Beth Garcia’s ability to sell goods was really good, but in two days’ time, she had already received more than three million dollars in arrivals one after another, and the things had been sold at least a third of the time.
“Miss Taylor.”
Hearing Xenia Davis’ voice, the smile on Yolanda Taylor’s face faded a lot, “Miss Davis.”
On such a cold day, Xenia Davis was wearing a sky blue loose sweater on top, a short leather skirt underneath, and a pair of small black leather shoes under her feet, truly gorgeous.
“I heard you recently asked Beth Garcia to help you sell the gift Gwen gave you earlier …”
Here, she paused and huffed, “Didn’t Gwen give you five million dollars, and Miss Taylor is working on a big project these days, so short of money?”
Xenia Davis said this is really hard to hear, but she still does not seem to feel, see her not say, she asked again, “How much are you short of? I can help you, there’s no need, making a scene that the whole circle is watching.”
Yolanda Taylor also laughed a little and said, “Miss Davis is thinking too much, I just think that there are still junk collectors who want unwanted junk, so why should I keep it to take up space when I can sell it for money. As for the joke-”
“I really don’t know what kind of joke it is, and really, if you want to see a joke, I think seeing Miss Davis might be a little more dramatic.”
She had never been afraid of Xenia Davis, she and Xenia Davis had confronted each other like this more than once before when she was still following Gwen Fox.
It was just Yolanda Taylor’s bad luck that just as she finished speaking, a familiar car slowly pulled out from behind her.
The people sitting inside were undoubtedly Jerome Perot and Gwen Fox, and the words she’d just spoken weren’t too loud, but they weren’t too small either, so presumably they’d all fallen on deaf ears.
“Not going shopping with your little sister?”
The car door pushed open and Gwen Fox stepped out.
Xenia Davis reached out and took him by the arm, giving him a wry smile, “Yeah, was just about to go, but I ran into Miss Taylor, so I came over to say hi.”
Gwen Fox glanced at Yolanda Taylor, the coolness between her eyebrows showing, “Who’s the joke, Miss Taylor you need to know better.”
He was smiling when he said this, but the words that came out were like a knife that could pierce straight into a person’s flesh.
Yolanda Taylor’s prestige from a moment ago was instantly swept off the ground by him, her face went white all of a sudden, her hand holding her cell phone clenched in death, she wanted to leave, but she didn’t want to admit defeat.
Jerome Perot frowned a little and glanced at Yolanda Taylor, thinking that Gwen Fox really looked like a scumbag at this moment, “Gwen, you’re going a little too far with that.”
He didn’t hold back after all and opened his mouth to help Yolanda Taylor.
But he didn’t want Xenia Davis suddenly laughed, holding Gwen Fox’s shoulder and looking back at him: “Jerome Perot, you seem to have a crush on Miss Taylor, does Beth Garcia know about this?”
Jerome Perot’s face fell, “Xenia Davis, is your mouth a sewer? Talking stinks fucking bad!”
With that, he pushed open the door and got out of the car, handing the Mermaid Tears to Yolanda Taylor, “Yolanda, this is too expensive for anyone to afford, so you’re on your own!”
Yolanda Taylor realized that Jerome Perot was trying to help her, and after freezing for a moment, she quickly reacted, “In that case, there’s no use for me to keep it.”
After she finished speaking, she took the “Mermaid Tears” and walked towards the trash can not far away, lifting her hand and directly threw it in.
The action was clean, without any hesitation.
