Book:Heart Speaks Published:2024-5-1

ALICE’S POV
The morning light and the chirping birds wake me up, pulling me out of the dream, of Jackson. Opening my eyes on the bench under a tree reminded me what had happened. I stood and I heard Henry talking in his periods of sleep, “Sophia, I warned you not to leave me. Don’t you know am the Henry you were searching for?”
I taped him and he was shocked to found out that he was dreaming.
“What if Sophia, heard what you just said?” I said
“What did I say?” he asked, looking down.
“Henry, I know it’s hard for you, but you need to do this.”
“I can’t do this anymore. I’m tired of it.”
“Okay then, you will tell him the truth when we saw her.”
“Really?”
“Yeah,” I said, “You are happy now?”
An apple dropped on his head as he nodded.
“Oh, I don’t know we are under an apple tree,” I said.
“Me too,” Henry said, rubbing his head.
“Let’s plucked it.”
“I will climb it.”
I saw a bag on the floor, cleaning it, and then I walked to him as he climbed the apple tree.
Henry throws it down on my head.
“Ouch, do you want to kill me?”
“What happened?”
“You don’t know that you throw an apple on my head?”
“I don’t know, I’m sorry.”
“Ouch, you throw another one again.”
“Oh,” he said, laughing.
“I know you do that intentionally. I won’t let you tell Sophia the truth again.”
“I’m sorry, pretty girl,” he said, gazing on from the tree.
“Don’t tease me,” I said.
“Please now, I won’t do that again.”
“Okay then, do quickly I’m hungry”
He dropped many apples down, and I keep filling them in the bag I hold. I remember back then when I would climb the tree to plucked apples for my mom.
I heard that a window was opened, I looked at the nearby house and I saw am an old man, looking at us from the window shouting, “Who is there?”
“Good morning sir.”
“Don’t greet me. How dare you plunked my apples.”
“We are hungry sir.”
“You don’t have a parent,” he said, “if I catch you there, I will beat the hell out of you.”
He closed the window, and Henry jumped down from the trees, and then we flew to the left side. Running past a different house without dropping the bag of apples.
“We need to stop here, Henry.”
“I’m tired too,” he said.
And walked under another tree, and then sit on the bench.
“That man is a bloody fool,” I said.
“Really?”
“Yeah”
“Why?”
“He insults us as if he was the God.”
“Let’s forget about it,” he said, “I’m hungry. Thank God you don’t drop the apples.”
“Why should I?” And we laughed.
We eat the apples one by one, and its water was adorning my lips with deliciousness.

“See Lucy,” Anabelle shouted
“Lucy, Bella,” Alice called, waving her hands to them.
“Oh, they are over there,” Lucy said as they walked there.
Alice was surprised to see swords on Jackson’s hands. How on earth those that got to his hand. Jackson looked at Alice and was looking down. Thinking he shouldn’t have shown her the piano first.
“The fingers that once played the sweetness of piano to my ears hold the sword? What happened?” She asked, “why did you hold a sword and wear black clothes?”
“He is a fighter,” Lucy said
“He is Reuben’s son,” Bella added
“Really?” Alice asked.
“Yeah,” Lucy said.
“Let him talk by himself.”
“He rescued us in the palace prison,” Lucy said.
“Oh,” Alice said, “what brought you guys there?”
“She,” Bella looked at Lucy.
“What?. You wanna say I caused it?” Lucy asked her
“You throw the stone on the princess’s head”
“You irritated me,”
“Let’s forget about it,” Jackson said, “we need to leave here now. Because we don’t know if they were after us.”
“Jackson, hope everything is fine. I’m scared,” Alice asked him, looking worried
“I don’t think so,” he said, “but everything would be fine soon.”
Suddenly, the princess guards darted there, and surround them, and they are scared to see them.
And then the commander walked near them and turned to the guards, saying. “Tied all of them.”
And the guards did as it was told.
“How dare you killed the guards in the palace? Who do you think you are?” The commander said, frowning at Jackson.
Jackson was trying all his effort to loses the robe from his hands. If not because of Alice, he would have started fighting as the guards caught them.
The commander walked to him and slapped his face and then boomed, “how dare you steal the King’s treasure.”
“I don’t steal anything,” he said with boldness
“And you still have the guts to speak, ” The commander said, kicking his mouth and blood gushed out.
Alice felt pain in her heart as the commander kicked Jackson’s lips again and she yelled, “You should stop this nonsense.”
“Who says that?” The commander looked back, looking at their face.
“Who can’t say that?” Alice boomed.
“Oh!” The commander walked to her, “You are so brave.”
Alice spits saliva on his face as he walked near him. “And you are cowards. You are beating small kids. Instead of you going to war. I know you can’t fight Reuben.”
“Shut up,” he roared and slapped her face.
Alice fell, and blood darted out of her mouth to the floor.
“How dare you said that you brat,” he roared and grabbed her neck, raising her when holding her neck, and then slapped her again.
Jackson’s eyes turned from red to fire, he yelled, “don’t touch her again.”
The commander looked back, “who the hell did you call yourself?”
“If not of the robe in my hands, I would have slaught you dead,” Jackson said.
“You are a fool,” The commander hurried to Jackson and he bounced his head with a blow. Jackson fell, and everywhere looked blurred in his sight. He spits out blood, trying hard to get up.
“Bullshit, you don’t know the real me,” The commander said and kick him away as he tries to stand up. “Get lost.” He collects a sword from one of the guards and walked near him. “You shall go to hell.”
As he raised the swords, he uses them to defend himself from a nail that was thrown at him. He turned back and saw that all his guards had fallen dead.
And a girl flies in and throws another one at his neck, he yelled in pain and then fell dead.
Jackson recognizes her, she was the girl he meets in the King chambers, stealing the treasure. The girl walked to Jackson and offer him a hand, and then raise him. Jackson hurried to Alice and untie the robe from her hands. And they hug each other. And Alice started crying, “I’m scared.”
“It’s okay,” Jack said, “it is okay.”
The girl untied the rest and they all thanks to her.
“You’re welcome,” she said looking at Jackson, “I’m Susan.”
“I’m Jackson.” And he pointed to Alice “she is Alice.”
“Alice?”
“Yeah,” Alice said.
“I’m Lucy”
“I’m Bella,”
“I’m He,” Henry looked down in sorrow, he has to hide his identity again. “I’m Anabelle.”
“We need to go back home,” Lucy said
“What of Sophia?” Bella asked
“She would meet us at home,” Lucy snapped, “I’m hungry.”
“Maybe we should go and cook at home,” Jackson said, and face Beth. “Susan, will you follow us ”
“Yes,” Susan said and then they started the journey home.
