Diya PoV:
I slapped Ranveer for shooting Shourya. How can he shoot my Shourya? Ranveer looked around to find his servants and staff starring at us. He ordered them to go. They left.
“Diya, what’s wrong with you? How could you slap Ranveer? Are you mad?” Ala said.
“Yes, I am mad until now trusting Ranveer and thinking he is my best friend and well wisher. But not now after knowing that he was the one who shot my husband Shourya,” I retorted.
“What do you mean? Why will he shoot your husband?” Ala asked me and then turned towards Ranveer.
“Is it true Ranveer? Did you shoot Shourya?” Ala asked.
“Ala, you go inside. I will talk to Diya.”
“No, I won’t go. Tell me the truth. Why did you shoot your best friend?” Ala asked him seriously.
Ranveer held her wrist tightly.
“I said go inside, Ala. It’s none of your business. Don’t interfere in the things which are unnecessary to you. Just shut up and go inside,” Ranveer said, dragging her to a room, and he locked her inside the room.
Why is he behaving like this? When I stayed here for Ala as she is ill, I saw his care and respect for Ala. But today, he locked her in the room forcefully. He came to me.
“Who told to you that I shot Shourya?”
“I had enough proof, Ranveer,” I said.
“Yes, I shot Shourya. So what will you do now? Diya, as long as power is in my hands, no one can touch me. Do whatever you can and right now leave my house,” Ranveer said.
“I won’t leave you, Ranveer. I won’t leave anyone who try to hurt my husband. I will get you punished,” I said and returned home.
“Where did you go till now, baby?” Shourya asked.
I remembered Shourya telling me many times to me that I shouldn’t trust Ranveer. I never listened to him. I looked at him with guilt.
“Are you taking my punishment so seriously? Come on, Diya, I was angry with you at that time, but not now. You can talk to me. Come here, sweet heart,” he said, smiling, opening his arms.
I went and hugged him with tears. I shouldn’t have trusted Ranveer, ignoring Shourya’s words.
“I am sorry, Shourya,” I said, and Shourya raised my face with his hand.
“What happened to you? Why are you upset, dear? Are you upset because of my anger? I am sorry, baby. I didn’t like you lying to me. My anger and possessiveness hurts you all the time. But you too shouldn’t lie to me, right? Tell me did I lie to you anytime? I never lied to you. We should be frank with each other, only then we can trust each other. Anyways I am sorry for shouting at you,” he said, hugging me tightly.
“I am not crying for that,” I said slowly.
“Then?”
“You are not shot by terrorists. The one who shot you is……….. ”
“Ranveer,” Shourya said.
“How do you know?”
“On that day, I saw Ranveer shooting me in the glass door of the window of a flat in the apartment where I stood.”
“I am sorry for trusting him over you.”
“It’s ok, no problem. Atleast now you understood,” Shourya said and hugged me.
Shourya PoV:
Diya apologized to me, knowing that Ranveer shot me. I consoled and hugged her. This is the reason I didn’t reveal her about this. She will blame herself for everything, though she is not the reason. She cried for a long time and slept on my chest, unknowingly. She woke up after 2 hours and got up.
“Is your hand paining? Sorry I slept unknowingly,” she said.
“It’s ok baby, no worries. I love you,” I kissed her on the cheek, taking her into my lap.
“Are you ok now? Don’t cry too much. It spoils your health. See your family loves you a lot. They care for you. Why are you crying for unnecessary reasons?”
“I am ok. I love you,” Diya said, mocking a baby.
“Shourya, why will you always forgive me for everything? I behaved suspiciously at starting, stayed away from home at nights without informing you, took lot of time to reveal my past and give your right, trusted Ranveer over you and fought with you for him. Still you forgave me.”
“Diya, they all are very small things to me. I trust and love you a lot. So, I forgive you whatever you do except leaving me. Now don’t spoil your mood. Go and wash your face. You will feel fresh. Let’s have our dinner,” I said, making her get up from my lap.
At night, she is checking her mails and opened her handbag. I saw a pendrive with a spy camera.
I remembered gifting the same pen drive to Chitra di when I returned to India from vacation to London. I took the pen drive from her bag. Diya looked at me. I never touch her bag or mobile without her permission. Though I am her husband, I respect her privacy. But today, I touched her handbag and took a pen drive from it.
“Shourya, please give that pen drive to me,” she said, trying to take it from my hands.
“I like it, Diya. Shall I take it, please?”
“No, Shourya, I am sorry. That’s not mine. That belongs to my room mate Chitra. She gave it to me when she died in my hands. I tried to open the files but it’s password protected. So I stopped trying. I hope if I can open the files, can find out true culprit. I will try to order same pen drive through online. Give it to me please,” she said.
“Give it to me, Diya, I will try to open it,” I said.
“Ok try but remember we have only two more chances. If we click password two more times wrong, information will be deleted.”
“Did Chitra say anything to you before giving it to you?”
“No but once she said she use her first love as her password. I tried her first love name but it doesn’t open.”
First love?? What is that?
“What did you type?”
“Chitra said Raj is her first love name, I typed that.”
She is right. Raj is her only love. But why doesn’t it open? Didi always takes the utmost care regarding her passwords.
“Don’t you know the password used by your sister?” Diya asked, looking at me seriously.
God, she found it.
“Sorry, Diya, I didn’t mean to hide but..”
“Now you don’t talk to me for two days. Now I got a chance to punish you,” she said very happily and raised her eyebrow.
I pulled her towards me, kissing her back.
“Do you want to punish me, baby? But this is too much of punishing me. Sorry but I can’t stay without talking to my princess. I love her so much,” I said, hugging her.
She smiled. Her phone rang, disturbing my romance with my wife after two months.
“Who is that?”
“Ala,” she said and received the call.
“Hello, Ala.”
“What? Ok, I will call you back within 5 minutes,” she said and disconnected the call.
“What happened to Ala?”
“Ala left Ranveer. She doesn’t know where to go. So, she is asking for my help,” Diya said slowly.
“Bring her to our home, Diya,” I said.
Diya went and brought Ala home.
“What happened to you, Ala?” I asked her.
“I cancelled marriage with Ranveer and left him. I can’t stay with him,” Ala said, crying.
