Chapter 583: My daughter has a strong supporter

Diana heard what Doria said, and she calmed down a lot.
-Doria, thank you, now you are the only one in the whole Espina family who loves me.
-Silly girl, you were raised by me for more than twenty years, who else would I love besides you?
Doria stroked her hair and looked at her with great affection, as if she were looking at her own daughter.
Diana’s heart thrilled with indescribable emotion.
She glanced sideways into the hall for a moment and noticed that Bianca was still holding Albina’s hand with a sincere look on her face, as if she wanted to give her all the love she had.
Diana’s heart sank again.
Bianca was also kind to Diana, but it was never that intimate, there was always a layer between them.
After chatting, Albina yawned and Umberto looked at the clock, then he approached mother and daughter and said:
-Mom, it’s time for Albina’s nap.
-Oh God, I didn’t realize she was sleepy. The room is ready, it’s on the second floor. Hector, take Albina there,” Bianca said.
Hector got up and helped Albina up the stairs, with a caring and tender expression on his face that made Adrian uncomfortable.
“My brother never seemed to be very affectionate with me as he was with Alina.”
Looking at the backs of the two of them, Adrian’s face was angry.
Bianca noticed the scene and stroked her youngest son’s head.
-Are you jealous, Adrian?
She could tell something was wrong with Adrian’s expression. The boy had been quite nervous yesterday and this morning and was looking forward to Albina coming home, but since they had entered the living room, the boy had not been very interested and had not said a word during the conversation a moment ago, although he had been sitting listening the whole time.
His communication with Albina was almost nil.
-Adrian, your sister has had a hard time all these years, you have to be considerate of her,” Bianca sighed. Her heart ached at the thought of her daughter’s broken home and being victimized in such a way.
Adrian didn’t speak even though he heard everything they said.
“Actually, my heart goes out to my sister too, but…”
He looked in the direction of the second floor with a torn and complicated look.
Umberto came back from a call and said to Bianca:
-Mom, there will be a package arriving from the Santangel family later today, so we should make sure someone gets it.
Bianca was full of questions.
-What is it? Is it a valuable object? Do you want me to go myself? I’m afraid the maids might break it by accident.
-You don’t have to go there in person,” Umberto’s cheeks reddened slightly. They are just some of Albina’s usual products. My grandfather was afraid she wouldn’t get used to the products here, so he had them all sent to her.
He said it rather weakly, as if to imply that they were unsure of the Espina family’s preparations and thought they were ill-prepared.
Bianca covered her mouth and laughed at his embarrassed look.
She was not angry or offended, but rather pleased by the Santangel family’s concern for Albina.
She was even more optimistic about the Santangel family and believed that her daughter would have a good life when she married Umberto.
-By the way, Umberto, you and Albina haven’t celebrated the wedding yet.
Umberto nodded.
-After we got engaged, I found out that Albina was already pregnant. We took out the certificate, but since Albina wasn’t well and had been recovering, I couldn’t bear to force her. But don’t worry, our family has long planned that once Albina has given birth and is better, there will be a wedding that is in accordance with her wishes. I will also give Albina half of my share in the Santangel family, so you don’t have to worry about anything going wrong in the future, I will make sure to love and adore Albina for the rest of her life.
Diana walked by and, hearing these words, clenched her fists so tightly that she almost broke her freshly manicured nails.
Umberto promised all those things she had always wanted.
Diana didn’t believe in love or relationships, she only believed in money. But after all these years of playing nice and playing dumb in the Espina family, they had only given her 2% of the shares.
And it was time for her to marry into the Romero family as an adopted daughter, but they didn’t take her seriously at all, much less give her shares.
If she married Javier, the only status she could claim was that of Miss of the Romero family, a mere supplement to Javier.
Sensing the vast difference, Diana’s mind became unbalanced again.
However, she remembered Doria’s words and tried to suppress the rage she felt in her heart.
But Bianca’s next comment made her mind explode immediately.
Umberto showed his sincerity, and Bianca, although she was very pleased, wanted to give her daughter the benefit of the doubt. She did not want to be talked about and considered beneath her position.
-Although Albina left home at the age of two, her father and I had saved everything we wanted to give her, and since Hector was the future heir of the Espina family, the burden was heavy and we shared it among all of us. The jewels were destined for Albina and I also have a share of the Munoz family shares. All of this will go to Albina,” he said as he stroked Adrian’s head next to him with some guilt.
She was the daughter of the Munoz family and her shares were already small, and it was not really fair to Adrian if he gave them all to Albina.
Adrian was young, but hearing what they had just said, he knew Bianca’s meaning.
He lifted his little chin with a high and proud expression.
-That a man fights for his fortune makes much more sense, it’s not good to depend on your family. Don’t worry mom, I don’t want the Munoz family fortune. Your love and affection for me is enough.
Bianca looked at her son with a little redness in her eyes and a little relief.
-Umberto, I’m not telling you this for nothing, but to remind you that our Albina will not marry for the benefits that the Santangel family would grant. She has the Espina family behind her, and as long as we are here, don’t intimidate her, ok?
The usually polite Bianca was a bit more serious, and her aura was a bit more biting.
Umberto nodded with a serious countenance and solemnly promised:
-Don’t worry, as long as I live I won’t let Albina be bullied and I will do my best to protect her. Even without what you have said, I will keep this promise.
Bianca snorted and a smile returned to her face.
Diana hid behind a wall and listened to the conversation with a frown on her face.
It was surprising that she didn’t know that Antonio and Bianca had left so much property to Albina, a daughter who hadn’t been home for over twenty years.
“If Albina doesn’t come home, can that be mine?”
Diana’s face grew even more somber at this thought.
