Chapter 276: She makes a fool of herself in front of everyone.

Olivia saw Albina staring at Mrs. Leoz’s back. Her gaze was especially complex, as if she was thinking. So she asked curiously:
-Albina, what are you looking at?
Albina whispered in her ear and explained:
-The dress she is wearing today has been seen before at Yoli’s launch.
Albina had followed the launch very closely, so she knew that some ladies had auctioned off some dresses that day. However, she did not know Ms. Leoz, nor did she pay attention to the identities of those ladies. Therefore, when she saw the dress, she just thought it looked familiar. After looking at it carefully she was sure that it was, indeed, Yoli’s.
Olivia’s eyes were puzzled when she heard this:
-What’s wrong with this dress?
Albina smiled and told Olivia that a company had released her clothes before Yoli’s launch, so she had to make clothes to replace it as a novelty.
-Mrs. Leoz’s dress was the one she had purchased at Yoli’s launch.
Olivia had not clearly looked at the dress before. When Mrs. Leoz came out of the restroom, she focused on it.
There was really nothing wrong with the dress at first glance, but a closer look revealed some bad details.
It was a fitted bandeau skirt with a mermaid cut. When Ms. Leoz was talking to the others, she occasionally lifted the bodice of her dress upward. Also, when she moved a little more, the fabric at the hips would distort slightly.
Olivia turned her head to Albina and whispered:
-It’s true what you say, the quality of that dress is not very good.
Olivia was a bit puzzled. The fact that her family, the Seco Group, was wealthy, as was her husband’s family, the Leoz family. She should not be short of money. Why had she bought such a dress and worn it to the party?
At the same time, Mrs. Leoz was upset.
Alfredo had unilaterally declared his separation from the Carballal Group, and had taken some companies away from her. She felt a little sorry for him. When she heard about Yoli’s launching of Yolanda, she asked him to come and support him.
At his request, she went to the launch and bought a dress.
The design of the dress was ordinary and unimpressive. She had planned to keep it in her closet and had no intention of wearing it.
But the invitation to the party had only been sent to her that morning. It was too late to buy a new dress, so she asked the babysitter to pick one out of the closet.
Maybe she thought the dress was new and picked it out. She was already running late and Mrs. Leoz didn’t bother to put on another outfit, so she wore it to the party.
The dress didn’t quite fit her. The size was about right, but the bodice of the dress was a little big and the hips a little small. As she walked around the party, the bodice kept falling down and her hips were tight.
Maybe there was something wrong with the fabric too, she felt a little itchy on her skin.
She loved these kinds of social occasions, but at that moment she wanted them to be over quickly.
She wanted to take the dress off and throw it away. She had never worn anything so uncomfortable in her life.
“Since when did Yoli’s dresses get so bad? The size wasn’t right and the fabric was rough.”
Maybe the psychological suggestion worked. The more she thought about it, the more her skin itched and even ached a little.
Secretly, he made a few movements to relieve the itchiness of his skin. But she raised her hand too high and collided with one of the guests behind her.
The guest was startled by her sudden movement, which caused her not to hold the cup in her hand. She screamed and the glass fell to the floor, spilling champagne and splattering glass crumbs everywhere.
Mrs. Leoz screamed as she was accidentally splashed by the broken glass. Stepping back, she cursed angrily, saying:
-How come you can’t even hold a glass properly? If you hurt me, you simply can’t pay for it.
The guest did not know what to do. The owner of the villa hurriedly asked the maids to take care of the champagne and glass stains on the floor. After learning that Mrs. Leoz had been splashed by the dregs of the glass, he hurried to have the wound dressed.
She followed the servants as they prepared to go upstairs. As she passed Olivia and Albina, she lifted the hair from her back to her chest….
Olivia pulled it back suddenly with a surprised expression.
She was going to tend to her wounds, but Olivia stopped her. She was not feeling well and, she and Olivia were not on good terms. This led her to become even more impatient and angry and to yell:
-What are you doing?
Olivia looked at her seriously and said:
-I saw red rash on your back. I advise you to go straight to the hospital.
Olivia wasn’t kidding about it. Mrs. Leoz was instantly alarmed. She hastily pulled up her hair and asked her best friend to come over and take a look.
As a result, just as Olivia said, her back had become covered in a particularly frightening, dense, red rash.
The lady who examined her took a few steps back, as if she had some kind of contagious disease.
-She said, “Not only do you have a rash on your back, but also on the skin under your clothes.
Affected by her attitude, the crowd unconsciously moved back a few steps.
No one dared to approach her for fear that the dreadful rash on her body was contagious.
Her expressions and attitudes made even Mrs. Leoz begin to panic. She had been feeling very sick earlier, her body aching and itching, and she was even more frightened by his looks.
-Call an ambulance! I’m going to the hospital.
The rash grew very quickly, starting only on her back, but by that time it was spreading all over her body.
Mrs. Leoz had not had this kind of health problem since she was a child, nor had she eaten indiscriminately all day. The only thing that was in question was the dress she wore on her body.
None of the people dared to approach her.
Albina saw that Mrs. Leoz was having an emotional breakdown and, although she did not like her, she approached her and said in a reassuring tone:
-Mrs. Leoz, this is a remote area, so it will take quite some time for the nearest hospital to send an ambulance. Your driver should still be waiting for you at the door. I suggest you go straight to the hospital now. Not to worry too much, these rashes look like normal hives. It would be best to send these clothes for allergen testing.
The rash looked bad and spread quickly, so maybe the fabric of the clothes had some bad chemicals in them.
Hearing his words, Mrs. Leoz felt a little relieved. She also felt a rash coming up on her body because of the clothes, so she hurried to ask the owner of the villa to give her another set of clothes so she could change out of the ones she was wearing.
As she followed the maid upstairs, perhaps because she was so nervous, she tripped on the steps and fell.
As she fell, she unconsciously spread her legs to support herself. But because the dress was too tight and poorly sewn, it split at the hip.
To make matters worse, Mrs. Leoz was on the stairs, which were higher than the guests in the ballroom. Because of what had just happened, the eyes of the crowd were on her. So the guests saw how the dress burst after the fall.
The maid rushed to use something to block her miserable appearance and they helped her up.
Her palm was sore. She had just heard the sound of the fabric tearing as it fell, and then she saw the way the guests looked at her in disbelief and immediately understood what had happened.
She was so angry and embarrassed that her face turned red.
It was the dress that made her feel so humiliated this time.
Mrs. Leoz did not have the courage to look at the faces of the guests again. Escorted by the servants, she ran as if to escape to the guest room.
When she was gone, Olivia took a sip of wine, let out a long sigh and said:
-I’m afraid I’d be dead if I were her and made a fool of myself in front of everyone.
Albina heard what Olivia said and laughed lightly as she looked toward the staircase.
She wasn’t sure if Mrs. Leoz wanted to die, but she must have wanted to kill Yolanda.
She had told Umberto earlier that Yolanda would have to have herself killed sooner or later, and she hadn’t expected it to come true so soon.
Albina had only had a few words with Mrs. Leoz and it was clear that she had a bad temper, more so than the old Olivia.
Yolanda must have been tortured by Mrs. Leoz afterwards.
