Lights flashed at her face making her eyelids shutter like a camera lens. She wasn’t able to open her eyes to the intense lights. Her pale white forehead had droplets of sweat shining like pearl beads of pearl. The child hugging her waist seemed to be scared of all this ruckus and he hugged her even more tightly. The voices of the reporters grew louder and louder.
She gulped in her saliva and thought to herself.
‘How did this happen? I was just here to…’
Plop’
Her mind got distracted when suddenly a black jacket was thrown over her face to cover her up from the reporters. A hand wrapped around her and she heard the man Whisper.
“Follow me silently…” She had no other choice than to abide by his order.

After the men in black pushed away from the reporters and made way for her to get out of the mess, she was led into a spacious room. The child who was walking beside her grabbed her with all his strength, almost causing her to stop breathing.
“Madam, We have brought her as you ordered.” Said the guy who had tossed his jacket onto her face. He smoothly pulled away his coat causing her hair to become a mess.

She blinked a few times trying to get accustomed to the sudden dazzling lights of the room.
“Hah! Such a tacky thing she is.” A voice, almost as elegant as a symphony came from the sofa before her. There sat a woman in a greyish blue dress and straight black hair. She was a graceful beauty in her early forties.
“Who– Are you? And where am I?” Asked the girl.
“You don’t know me? What a surprise…” The woman gave her a scornful look. “I am the mother of the guy you have been circling for a while now.”

“Huh? You are?” Her eyes were wide open and she walked up to her slowly. “That is such a pleasant surprise! My name is T…”
“You don’t have to tell me anything… my sin has already told me everything about you.”
“HE has? But I thought…”
“Don’t think too much… I have already done all the thinking for you. From now on you only have to listen to me.” Amara looked at her to see if she was willing to proceed with it.
“Okay…” She replied timidly and freed herself in front of the clutches of the child. She sat him up in the chair beside the sofa before sitting beside Amara.
“My son doesn’t want to see you…”
At Amara’s words, she made a crying face, “I know but there seems to be some sort of misunderstanding… I am sure I will sort it out with him once we meet.”
“Look at this shameless wench!” Amara breathed fire. The girl shifted herself backward after seeing the wrath of Amara but she still spoke desperately.
“Shameless? Isn’t it natural for…”
“No, it’s not natural! Look at yourself… you are not even of age yet and you still think you can do this?”
“But age is just a number! It doesn’t matter if you have talent.” She spoke desperately. “ And above all, I am twenty so I can do this.”
“Hah!… You make me laugh!” Amara scoffed at the sight of how shameless that girl was.
“I know what you are after!… Okay then, Let’s do it this way. I will give you whatever you want and in return, you will not appear before him, Never again!”
“So are you going to give me the money?” SHe asked in a secretive manner. Amara, who was well aware of her intentions, gave her a nod. “Seith! Transfer however much money she wants and make sure she doesn’t come back to the country again.”
“Yes MAdam… “
“And are you not going to tell your son about this? I am sure he will be displeased after hearing about this.” She asked worriedly.
“Are you threatening me that you will tell my son about me giving you money?”
“No! That’s not what I meant… It’s just things like this that can’t stay hidden for long and what if he finds out about it and it causes you problems? I mean shouldn’t we just let him know about this?”
“I will take care of that on my own! Just make sure you don’t appear before him or I will reveal your true colors to him…” Amara threatened her, causing the color of her face to vanish.
“Please don’t! I will not appear in front of him! Even if I do, I will make sure he can’t see my face!” She promised. “But… Can I look at him from afar?”
Amara’s eyebrow lifted. “Why?”
The girl blushed slightly and looked down at her hands. “I…”
“No, don’t tell me! I don’t want to know! And no you can’t see him from afar! Don’t look at him at all!” Amara stood up in rage and asked her guard Seith to take her away,

The girl gave her a sad look but that didn’t melt her heart at all. “Can I ask you the reason?”
“It’s because you are a poor, mannerless, standardless girl who can never be on the same level as my son!”
“But if I try to become one? What if I become a well-mannered girl with standards… will I be eligible?”
“That is not going to happen!… and remember to take your child away as well.”
The girl looked up at the kid who was still horrified. “He is not my child.” She spoke in a confused manner. Amara who heard her words looked at her with disbelief.
“Wow! You are really skilled! You sewed such a great trap for my son! I am glad he went on a business trip and didn’t see what you were planning for him behind his back… He would have been so heartbroken.” She spat the hateful words at her. “Take her away before I throw her body into the ocean!” Amara gave her a hateful look before storming out of the room.
