Elena, gasping for air not knowing what was going on, coughed out while asking what was going on.
” You witch I will kill you for hurting my om mark my words”, Bethany screamed out and the police thief striving to calm down the situation turned to Mrs. Marvin and asked why she had to harass the lady.
“She is the Elena, that Dr. Travis was talking about was she spoke out and the police chief turning to Elena with a disgusting look, asked whether she was Ms. Elena.
” No, I do not know this ladies and I wonder why she is addressing me as Elena”.
“You lying bitch, am going to kill you”, Bethany la blood was boiling inside her veins and Duke not being able to believe that she was the one reacting like that, did his nicest to calm her down.
” Mrs. Elena you are under arrest for attempted murder and conspiracy against Mrs. Marvin’s life, you have the right to remain silent as anything you say or do might be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to a lawyer and if you can’t, the state will provide one for you”, the chief rehearsed the normal saying to her.
Elena tried to fight back but the cops took her away before she could even do anything solid.
“You will pay for snatching my happiness you despicable woman”, Mrs. Marvin helped out. Bethany’s gaze met with Dukes before she was finally taken out of the hospital. Duke and Mrs. Marvin followed them in his car as he had to go bail Bethany out of jail for he would joy bear to see her spend a night inside the place.
Arriving at the building where she had to have her interview, she was nervous and shivered. It was a big building and she had to give her very best.
” Calm down girl, you have to get this job, for you and your sisters”, she murmured to herself. She breathes in and out, before heading inside.
“Hi there, I am Eva Monroe, and I am here for an interview for the cleaning job”, she spoke out wearing a smile. The receptionist asked her to wait for a second while she scrolls down the information on the desktop to find out whether she has an appointment.
” Okay, I see your name here, your interview will be held in room 309 Ms. Eva”, the receptionist said.
“Room 309?”, Eva asked in shock and the receptionist nodded with a smile. She was feeling strange about it but she could not go back without having the job. Wintering what kind of job interview is held in a room, she followed the instructions that we’re given to her and left for the designated room. With her heart pounding in her chest, Eva felt like she was going to pass out.
She was in a long corridor and looking at the numbers on the doors as she walked past through them. Her hands had turned cold as she did not know what was going to happen inside there. Reading the designated door, Eva stood in front of it not knowing whether to get inside or stay outside.
Her life was on hold but she thought back to the person who had found the job for her, it was Bethany her friend and she could never do anything to hurt her. With a huge sigh and looking at the door like a superwoman, she pushed it with her both hands, making sure that the file she was holding was not going to fall.
Her eyes were surprised at the sight of what she saw inside the room. A bed decorated with red roses, and a well-arranged room smelling so nice and sweet that she could not resist. A bright smile curved her mouth when she saw those things and her mind immediately narrowed to her sleeping on that bed with Henry.
Walking inside the compartment, she looked left and right to see either someone was inside with her but there was no one there.
” Hello, is anyone here, I am Eva and I am here for the interview”, she spoke out.
Eva could listen to some footsteps coming behind her and standing still, she felt her whole body shivering in fright and wondering who it could be. Suddenly, the doors went closed and a voice said from behind,
“I am glad that you could make it here Eva”.
Her stamina was compromised while her whole body felt weak. It was Henry and yes she heard that right. Turning as though her life was on a support system, Eva’s file dropped out of her hands and her jaws dropped down him in shock.
” Henry!”, she exclaimed with tears in her eyes. Henry let out a smile and nodded while walking closer to her with a bouquet in his hands.
“What are you doing here? have you been following me it something?”, she asked picking offense at seeing him.
” No I am not going after you, I made you come here”.
“What for, what gave you the right to even say so, and what gives you the right to say that I can honor your….”, she stopped for a while and looked at Henry as though she had just received a signal about something weird.
Placing the puzzle to understand what was happening, she looked at Henry again, and with a nasty tone she uttered,
” Don’t tell me that you talked my friend I to doing this with you, did you?”.
Henry’s reaction answered her question as he lowered his gaze and had no answer to give to her. Eva field with rage as she felt cheated and trapped by her friend, adjusted her handbag on her shoulder, and was about to walk out on Henry when she suddenly heard him say,
“I am sorry for not being man enough to tell my mom about you, but I just want you to know that it was not because I was asked of you, I just needed time to explain things to her”.
Eva halted just beside him and turned to look at how he said it.
” You never loved me Henry and never will and do you know why, it simply because I am not of the same class with you so you are not proud of dating someone like me”, she yelled out and all the anger in her eyes could be felt just by looking at them.
“You know that is not true, you know that I have always loved you right from the moment I set my eyes on you”, Henry spoke out but Eva having so much resentment for him, whispered,
” I waited for your call after I left the hospital but you did not call, nor come to see me and you dare you to say that you have always loved me?”, she thundered and Henry told her that he was calling Bethany every day as to come to visit her, she gases him the idea of making a surprise to Eva instead of coming to see her as she was still very mad at him.
Eva did jog care about what he was saying and he told her that, the reaction she was pulling out was what he had feared.
” Well news flash, I do not love you and have never done, all that I showed you was fake”.
Henry’s heart was torn into a million pieces after listening to what she had just said but Knowing how mad she was with him, his eyes swerved to have a look at her, and with a gentle tone and a sad look he asked,
“What happened to the Eva who’s sensitive, compassionate, and benevolent that I know and that I fell in love with?”.
” That Eva was for her clients and friends and you are neither of them, Sir Henry”.
“What do I have to do to become a client and a friend?”, he asked, walking closer to her.
Eva gasps as she saw him coming closer to her. Threatening to shoot if she comes any closer, Henry’s face lightened up with a smile as his eyes looked at her from head till toe.
” Did you mean what you said some moments ago? that you do not love me and had never done?”, he asked making sure that she had no way to escape. Eva, warning him not to do anything foolish, said out of fear that if he raped her, he will live to regret it.
“Are you sure about that, cuz I know that you want me as much as I won’t you”, Henry’s words came out and Eva let out a sigh, turned to get the door but it was closed and the keys are taken out? Covered with rage, she demanded that Henry gives her the keys but he insisted that she loves him in the eyes and tells him that she doesn’t love him anymore. Henry could feel every bit of her gust, desires, and ecstasy even though she was denying it. Waiting for her to say it, Henry kept on pushing himself on Eva and looking at her closely as she entered the fantasy world whereas he had not yet touched her.
” Just say that you love me, Eva, you ask me for it cuz I know that you love me and want us back, I know that you cry every day thinking that I do not love you, ask me to make love to you”.
Her whole body was shaking but Eva wanting to prove a point, asked Henry to let go of her and said how she had wasted her time to get there but Henry seeing through her eyes that she did not want to admit what she was feeling inside, he pressed his groin to hers.
Eva jerked with pleasure and Henry let out a smile on his lips, as he stretched out his arms around her waist. Eva’s voice has changed and her whole body became weak from the pleasure that she was feeling but yet she was proving stubborn and imploring him to let go of her.
“Eva it is just the two of us here and you know that we love ourselves very much, why do you want to complicated things? are you serious that you do not love me anymore?”, his questions were asked but Eva’s mind was already far as the flash between her legs stirred restlessly.
” What are you doing Henry?”, she asked but he quieted down her lips and before she could utter another word, Henry kissed her passionately without turning around he could not wait any longer.
Eva did not see that coming and did not expect him to do something like that.
Her breath could be felt on his skin while her lips were as soft as that of a baby. With her eyes closed, she savored the moment and her hands came up slowly on Henry’s waist.
“Stop it, I do not want it to stop”, she realized herself and pulled out walking to the other side of the room. Henry twirling to face her, asked whether she wanted him to stop or was just bent on refuting the sensation that he was giving her.
” You are a crazy person and I will not have anything to do with you not now nor ever”, she grumbled holding her hair up and trying her best to resist Henry but it was useless as he knew that she loves him and could not resist him for long.
Walking back to her, Henry grabbed her with a force that she had never felt, and this time, whispering in her ears, he said,
“I know how stubborn you are Eva, but I am going to write my wrongs right here and now”, Henry spoke out, caressing her with his fingertips.
