” I love you Eva”, little Glenn uttered and her words left tears hanging on Eva’s eyes. Kissing her so many times, she told her that her love for them both is greater than anything in the world.
“I love you too Eva”, Rachel whispered, and embracing her sister, they all felt each other breath.
Duke and Bethany, together with Mrs. Marvin had arrived at the hospital. Her heart pumping in her chest, she walked behind Duke wither plan which was well made. Bethany knew exactly why she wanted to go to the hospital to witness Dr. Travis’s apprehension, but she always had something very important to do first before he will be taken away.
There was no time to get seek permission to see him from the reception because Duke was already moving in front in uncontrollable anger that Bethany had never seen him in.
” I am going to avenge everything that you did to my mother you pig”, Bethany murmured to herself. With full force, Duke bang his office door not without taking into consideration whether he could be inside his office with a patient or just.
Catching sight of him, Duke grabbed him by his sleeve and pulling him from behind his table, he swept off all the documents that were on his table to the ground.
Duke punched his face so well that blood was flowing from every corner on it. Travis was confused as he could not tell what was going on, he tried to fight back but Duke bent on dealing with him squarely. The other doctors had been notified by the nurses that there was a commotion inside Dr. Travis’s office so they came out in their numbers making an effort to help their colleague.
“Who are you and what do you want?”, a doctor colleague asked Duke, while another could be seen calling. Bethany walked up to the one calling the cops and said,
” Are you calling the cops, well do not worry cus they are already on the way here”.
It was a disastrous scene and the patients and hospital staff who were present witnessed how Dr. Travis was painfully bruised.
“Why did you have to lie to this lady huh?”, Duke asked with an angered voice but De. Travis said he had no idea about what he was talking about.
” Wrong answer”, Duke yelled kit after listening to him speaking and his head was lifted and turned to Mrs. Marvin’s direction and when he had finally caught a glimpse of her, his gaze strolled through his office and on seeing Bethany as well, his jaw drew back.
Dr. Travis did not still understand what Duke was saying, asked that he should be left but Duke kept holding home while turning to the rest of the staff, his colleagues, and subordinate, explaining to them all what Dr. Travis had been doing to Mrs. Marvin over the years.
The fellow doctors pleaded for Duke to let go of Dr. Travis, but he gave them a deaf ear and asked them whether they were not believing what he was saying to them about Dr. Travis, he told them not to work as he was going to explode the man that they think is the best of them all.
Informing Bethany to show them the documents, Duke took out the docents that were behind his pocket, given to him by his informant, and handed it over to Bethany. Travis was on the ground but he was not looking remorseful for what he had done and Mrs. Marvin who could not help but cry, stood at the wall and was just looking at everything that was happening.
“I cannot believe this, Dr. Travis where did you get these stamps and signatures from?”, one of his colleagues asked after noticing that the stamps and signatures were not really. They were fake signatures and stamps of the hospital head.
” Answer them you idiot?”, Bethany spoke out with so much anger in her voice that made Duke look at her in worry about what she could do. As they were dragging matters, the cops had arrived at the hospital, and by catching sight of them, Dr. Travis knew things had gotten out of hand.
“Oh thank you offers for moving toward here, now this is the man that has been causing pain to my family and me over all these years”, Bethany said pointing to Travis.
” How could you be so wicked Dr. what did I ever do to you before for you to want to destroy my life?”, Mrs. Marvin finally spoke out in pain but Dr. Travis was not ready to talk yet and all that was getting Bethany angrier.
“You want to keep in playing the Saint huh?, you do not want to confess to your crimes and to tell them how you blackmailed me for years to engage in sexual escapades with you just because I did not have the finance for my mother’s surgery right?”, Bethany spoke out walking closer to him.
” Dr. Travis, are all these ladies allegations true?”, another colleague asked and Duke confirmed it telling them that he had to hire a private investigator to find out everything about him and it happens that, he has not only been doing that to Mrs. Marvin and her daughter but also to many others who could not afford the expenses of their loved ones either in one wag or the other.
The cops strode to tell him and tell him to keep quiet as anything he will say or do will be used against him in the law court told him equally that, he could make a call to his lawyer but If he doesn’t have one, the law will provide on for him, took off handcuffs to cuff him.
Bethany feeling that it was not over as he had not admitted to anything in front of anyone, rather he kept on smiling as though everything that was going as not affecting him, jumped from there she was standing and took out the knife from the back of her pocket, she used her arm to wrap up. Travis’s neck, while spotting the knife on it.
Everyone in scare shouted out fear, and Mrs. Marvin, amazed by her daughter’s action tried to can her down by asking her to drip off the knife so that the officers could do their job. Duke too joined with the others begged her not to do anything stupid but Bethany asked everyone to shut up while telling the other police whole were standing closer to them with handcuffs, to stay in their position.
“You all should stay where you are or else I will cut his throat open”, she yelled out.
” Please don’t do this Bethany, I have a family and little kids to take care of”, Dr. Travis mumbled and Bethany letting out a smile on her face, muttered,
“So you can talk and you have been keeping quiet all this time huh?.
” Betty let him go, the police will do their job from here”, her mother pleaded but she was bent on making him pay by her hands.
“Start talking now, else I will slash your throat”, she uttered as she pressed the knife on his neck and gave him a cut. The blood from the dent, caused the others to scream out more under the fear of her killing him.
” I will say everything that I know, please do not kill me”, his words could be listened to shaking.

Dr. Travis was in his office one day when his wife’s sister badged in and teased him as she always did. He had never liked his sister-in-law but always pretended to whenever they were around people and of course his wife.
She had once discovered his secret of sleeping with his patients and threatened to tell his wife which was a no for him, as he loved his wife so much.
“I have a proposal to make to you”, she said that day, and Travis asked what it was, Elena notified him that she wanted him to fake give her a syringe or tablets for her to murder her friend. Confused as to why she will want a thing like that, Travis asked her to get to the point.
Elena had been friends with Mrs. Marvin, since she joined their neighborhood sometime back, but was jealous of her as Mr. Marvin had an affair with her but could not make it official. Elena had followed him right to where he was living and got her apartment over there but she could not still get him to plop a ring on her finger.
Feeling frustrated by the situation, she threatened to destroy him and his family, and so she made sure to follow his wife to know everything about her routine as well as the people she was in contact within the area. Hatching her on well, she had finally succeeded in creating contacts with her by bumping into her one day at the grocery store and helping her to pick up her items that had fallen.
From that day, they became friends but Mrs. Marvin was such an innocent lady who could never believe that her husband could do that to her as he spoke highly of him in front of everyone. Elena began to visit the Marvin’s but her presence was never appreciated by Bethany because of her way of dressing and her demeanor.
Bethany always complained to her mother of not being in alliance with her friendship with that lady but her mother was the open-spirited person who assumed that a person’s character could not be judged by what was seen on the outside.
Elena incessant to Marvin’s house had become rampant to the extent that her husband had met her at his house one day. Taken by surprise, Mr. Marvin was shocked to the core as he could not believe that Elena was in his house, holding himself from looking so obvious, he dropped a word of salutation and walked into the room.
His heartbeat could be felt in the room as it was whipping against his chest. He knew that he had to do something so without arousing any suspicion by asking his wife anything about her relationship with Elena, Mr. Marvin went to her one evening to confront her, but he was too weak to resist her and in the course of him making an effort to walk out of the situation, he instead plunged himself more by allowing her larks to get to him.
They ended up making love and he returned home late at night feeling all repentant for his acts. The guilt inside of him was too much to bear but Elena was glad because she thought that they had finally made up and were happy.
Her target was to be closer to Mrs. Marvin so that she could eliminate her and take her place but before her plans could even start functioning, Mr. Marvin’s life was cut short as he gave up the ghost. Drowned in her anger, Elena, had a vast animosity towards Mrs. Marvin and she swore to make her regret ever meeting her oath.
Elena was a psychopath who needed help but her symptoms were not that obvious as she was still in her initial stages and Travis had noticed about that but decided to keep shit for fear of being exposed. When Elena, instructed him to give her something to murder Mrs. Marvin, Travis had thought about the consequences and instead proposed that they fake an illness while she will be taking drugs that will be reducing her life span.
Buying the idea, it was easy for Elena to convince Mrs. Marvin to go meet her relative who is a doctor as she was always complaining of having chronic chest pain. Travis had diagnosed her and told her the situation of her heart and that she needed urgent treatment.
