Xavier’s POV
I had just reached home. As I entered the house, everyone either scurried away or bow their head at me in fear. Everyone knows the monster has awakened.
Growls left my lips as I sped my way up to mine and Bella’s room. As I enter the room her scent feels up my nostrils calming me up a bit.
But as I took in the sight in front of me, I started to growl. It was as if there was a struggle. Things were messed up.
I start to see red. I couldn’t think straight. Suddenly I caught a smell. Blood. I followed it. It led to a painting.
It was a painting of my wolf in a night background with a full moon. But what I saw made me feel rage. There was a line of red blood. It was Bella’s blood.
That was what it took me to lose control of. I let out a thunderous roar which made the entire building shake.
I couldn’t control anything anymore. I shifted into my wolf as I left the house and went to the forest. I ran and ran trying to control my rage.
I reached a cliff and roared that I am sure the whole forest could hear. It was filled with anger, agony, hurt and distress.
After staring at them, Noah mind-linked me.
‘Xavier came back. We need to look for Luna. You running away is not going to help us much.’
I sighed as I heard this. He was right. My first priority is to get my Bella’s back. I quickly ran back to the pack house.
As I reached the back house, I entered mine and Bella’s room to shift and changed into my clothes. I entered my office to see Noah, James, my head warrior and Bella’s friends, Avery and Alec in my office.
I sighed and sat at my chair. “What do we have?” I asked, staring at all of them. “Well, the bodyguard had said that he caught a scent of rogue. So we know that it is a rogue that took Luna.” Noah said.
As he said this, a snarl left my lips. ‘The rogue that took mate away is going to die a gruesome death’ Damien said to me and I couldn’t agree with him more.
“Any other leads?” I asked. Noah just shook his head at me and I sighed. I cuss softly at the situation. Just then Avery spoke.
“Alpha please find her. She is our best friend. We cannot lose her.” she said softly as tears left her eyes.
“I PROMISE you that I will find her. I would rather die than to lose her” I said in a determined voice. Just then I had an idea.
I tried to mind-link but up to no avail. It was like there was a wall. Those filthy rogues must have injected her with something. I let a frustrated growl.
I am going to find her no matter what.
Bella’s POV.
I groaned as I tried to open my eyes. I was having a terrible headache. My body feels so sore and I feel so exhausted.
When I open my eyes, all I see is complete darkness. There was a light bulb above me but it was very dim.
As I tried to move, I realised that I am tied down to a metal chair. It was impossible for me to move. I recalled everything that happened before as realisation hit me.
I started to panic when I realised that I was kidnapped. I wanted to be back with Xavier. I tried to struggle but it was impossible. I feel like my body was on fire.
Suddenly I heard the door in front of me open. Soon after I heard footsteps. I could not see the person’s face as it was dark.
After sometime the figure starts to come nearer. That is when I recognised the face. It was the person who kidnapped me. He raised an eyebrow at me as he looked at me.
“Who are you and what do you want with me! ” I asked him. He just shook his head at me. “Be patient. Let the boss come” He said to me. “What do you want? Who is that? ” I asked him in confusion.
“Just you wait. ” He said as he gave me a smirk. I wiggled trying to get out. Seeing this he just laughed knowing I am unable to escape.
“Please let me go” I tried begging me but all I recieved was snicker. Knowing it was pointless I just hung my head down. Soon he left as I was to wait for the ‘boss’. I was left with complete silence.
I tried to mind link Xavier like how he thought me but failed. I felt useless right now. I just hope Xavier finds me fast. I am feeling scared. I am missing Xavier a lot.
I started to feel tired. I was going into darkness. My last thought before I fell into darkness was,
