Dimple was sitting in the lounge laughing like a crazy person while four servants stood on the side line with their head bowed in fear as they watched their boss drink champagne. If anyone saw her, they would think she had gone insane, but the lady was just having a good time. Crawford, who had gotten tired of, hearing his daughter’s crazy laugh all the way to his room upstairs came down and frowned when he saw empty bottles scattered everywhere
“What are you waiting for… clear this trash away!”he yelled at the servants and the four flinched as they tried to do something, but the glare dimple gave them had them running away
“What’s all this huh… now I have a drunkard of a daughter in my home?” Crawford said in irritation as he snatched a bottle of liquor from her and dimple frowned,
“I’m celebrating my victory dad… see this… the Alvaro’s are throwing a huge party today, and I’m… and I’m… celebrating though… they didn’t invite me hahaha”she remarked followed by loud laughter such that even tears of joy fell on her face however Crawford had no idea what was happening. A week ago, she came back all furious and nearly burned down the entire mansion all because she was fired and Emiliano was responsible. Of course, he didn’t say anything because he warned her to keep a distance from Emiliano and his family,
“Stop whatever you are planning because… I won’t be a part of your craziness… book a ticket and go back to Europe scarlet”Crawford said for the last time and walked away, he didn’t want trouble and after what happened to his partners he would be a fool if he continued to dare Emiliano and his daughter was busy fishing for trouble. As he walked out, Dimple rose to her feet, stumbled a little but balanced on her feet as her facial expression darkened
“Cheers to you Sia… hope you rot in hell”she said in a dark tone and smashed the bottle on the floor as the pieces scattered around and the liquid stained the couch a little.

“Wow… Carmen and granny really pulled this off?” Rhea said with a chuckle as she scanned her surroundings and everything was top-notch, indeed it was more of a corporate party with elegantly dressed people, of course some sia told her were various employees and some were Emiliano’s business partners and other guests Vince invited. The atmosphere was pleasant, the ice blue gold decorations stood out,
“Yeah… I should learn from her… in the future I want to do this”she remarked with a chuckle and Rhea laughed too and held her purse close as she shifted her eyes around until they stopped at Logan busy chatting with other men well-dressed in suits and tuxedos others in just casual clothes, he was happy smiling at everyone so was Emiliano who had a glass in his hand. Sia followed her friend’s gaze and sighed getting her attention and Rhea awkwardly averted her eyes from Logan
“Stop this… walk to him and give him the biggest hug Rhea… I know how you feel, but just hear him out… maybe he has a reason for everything”sia tried to reason with her friend who had been acting up for weeks. She was busy punishing herself by keeping away from the man she, of course, had fallen in love with
“But Sia… i…”rhea started but sia cut her off
“Nonsense okay… he’s your husband, and you have more rights over him… so stop being stubborn and go talk to him… look how miserable he looks”sia said pointing at Logan smiling but the smile didn’t look genuine at all. Rhea felt her chest tighten yes she had been shoving him off each time he tried to come near her and for weeks
“I’ll try”she mumbled just as Carmen and granny came to them”hello aunt… looking gorgeous granny”Rhea said with a smile and the old lady gave her a hug
“You too dear… I heard the good news… well done and bring me three great-grandchildren”she said and pulled back making sia to laugh together with Carmen
“Mother come on… you have a lot okay”Carmen said playfully to the old lady who frowned and sia laughed even more
“Don’t worry granny we’ll give you a whole football team”sia and rhea remarked at the same time and the four burst out in laughter
“That’s a good thing… Sia dear we are going to start the ceremony soon… so we want to show you something”Carmen stopped laughing and said with a smile which has sia confused. What was she to do because she knew Emiliano and Vincent were the ones giving speeches and other things,
“Okay… Rhea I’ll see you around”
“Don’t worry I’ll be right here”Rhea assured her friend, got a hug from Carmen and granny and watched as the three headed towards the stairs, and she averted her eyes around and sighed. The music played, and it was her favorite song, but there was no one to dance with
“I guess it’s time to do what sia said”she mumbled and looked towards where Logan was and only spotted Emiliano talking to the guests, her eyes shifted around only to spot Logan standing by the bar counter looking at his phone. Rhea didn’t think much as she made her way there nodding at some people who were looking at her and just as she was about to reach where her husband was he connected his phone to his ear and immediately walked away making Rhea to frown, but she chose to follow him since he headed for the door which led outside the perfect chance to be alone and talk
“Yes… yes please I’m on my way… start whatever it is, please”Rhea heard Logan said over the phone and to her surprise he was heading to his car and he looked disturbed. Without wasting time the man entered his car and drove away from the Alvaro mansion where the anniversary party was taking place
“Where is he going rushing to?”she whispered as she walked to the cars, and luckily, she found Nickolas standing by the car
“Hey Nick… could you give me a ride”she said startling the man who looked at her and smiled
“Sure madam… hop in”he opened the car door and rhea got in so did Nickolas
“Where to?”
“Follow Logan’s car”she simply said and Nickolas nodded without asking questions and drove away from the place. Rhea knew what she was doing was not right, but she was just curious why her husband left in the middle of a party without even bothering to tell her anything. The man looked worried as if something bad had happened
Rhea was lost in thoughts trying to find the answer to her question just as she heard Nickolas say something and when she looked up the car had stopped
“We are here”he informed her and rhea wind down the car window to see where she was and to her shock they were at a busy hospital
“Are you certain?”she asked as she tried to look around and Nickolas nodded
“Yes… there he is”he said and pointed at Logan who was getting out of his car and Rhea creased her brows and immediately stepped out of the car. Why was Logan at the hospital? Was anyone sick? Maybe Annie because her mother-in-law and father-in-law did not come to the party, so maybe something happened to them. But that was not it because she personally had a word with her mother-in-law before she left for the party who called her to tell her not to take any alcoholic beverages
“Hey which way did the…”rhea asked the receptionist immediately she walked inside the hospital but before she could finish the nurse lady smiled at her
“Mr Martinez went that way… to room 112″the lady said and Rhea frowned. If the nurse knew him then did he frequently come to the hospital
“Thank you”she muttered and made her way to the direction the nurse told her. any thoughts flooded her mind not sure why Logan was there. Rhea didn’t think much but soon found the room and slowly made her way there, the door to the room was slightly open hence she hesitated but walked further and tried to push open the door but stopped when he heard a familiar female voice and it was Patricia. She could believe her dropped everything again for his secretary, feeling hurt and nearly let out a few sobs she prepared to walk away but stopped when the lady in question said something to logan and whatever she said shocked Rhea as she turned back and stood by the door to listen.
