Logan was feeling uneasy as he tried to find the most comfortable position on his bed but every turn seemed like a never-ending torment hence making him miserable. Feeling both frustrated and lost, he got off the bed and walked to the window. The weather was awfully bad as he closed his window due to the fact that the storm was too much which only meant it was going to rain very much. He sighed as he walked back to his bed and planned to finally get some shut eyes however he soon realized that rhea was more like a child, she always threw blankets away whenever she was sleeping hence decided to check up on her since at some point he passed by her room which was open and found all the blankets on the floor
Logan wore his shirt and made his way out of his room and went straight to Rhea’s room, he was hesitant, not sure if to go ahead or not, but he felt it would be weird to just walk in her room and ask something so ridiculous, and hence he facepalmed himself for being such a jerk and turned to leave. However, just as he was about to flee from Rhea’s door Logan heard sobbing coming from inside and when he turned to the door hoping he heard wrong, it was confirmed that Rhea was crying
“Rhea, is everything okay?”he whispered softly as he knocked on the door but to his surprise the door opened because it wasn’t locked and with some hesitation, he walked in only to find Rhea sitting by the open window crying
“P… please leave me alone”rhea said with sons sensing an intruder in her room only for Logan to walk to her and narrowed his eyes wondering why her room was scattered, it looked like she had been scattering everything around out of anger
“Did someone say anything to you… what’s going on?” Logan ignored her words and asked with concern, but Rhea wiped her tears with the back of her hand and rose from the sofa hoping to walk away from Logan but Logan held her arm and gently pulled her to him, so she was facing him. Rhea looked at him for a while and averted her eyes because she just wanted to be alone
“Don’t meddle in my affairs please I need to get some rest”she said softly but Logan kept his gaze on her, everything was written on her face and her red swollen eyes were enough to prove she had been crying
“W… what’s up with you? This…this isn’t the first time I found you in this state”if Rhea wanted to lie to him then she could as well as save it because he had noticed she sometimes got lost in thoughts and other times she would be happy and sad
“Why do you care, I don’t need anyone not you or… sobs… sobs… or anybody else to make me happy… just leave me let me be, please”she pleaded with him as the gates of tears were opened and flooded her face so much that they dripped down her chin, her chest was rising and falling and Logan could feel her trembling in his arms? His heart felt a knot tighten as he looked in her eyes
“T… that’s not true… everyone cares for you…”Logan tried to calm her down, but Rhea shook her head in denial, Logan reached his hands to the sides of her face and held her in place, but she was too shaken to keep still
“Everyone leaves me… first it was dad he never bothered to love me… then mom she never asked me if I was ready… to be alone… sobs… hiccups… no one wants me”she said as more tears rained down her face even if Logan wiped them away they still fell, it was like she had been holding them her entire life, and now she was feeling everything making her emotional. He didn’t know what to do because he had never been in such a situation before, and now a woman was crying helplessly in his arms. Logan tried certainly to calm her down, but she kept on saying all the bad things about herself she had buried in her heart, and he knew she was missing her mom. With everything that had happened, Logan knew Rhea felt alone as if no one cared about her. He had both parents and never lacked parental love and care, but Rhea didn’t get that chance, her mom died when she was young, she didn’t know who her father was nor did he bother to look for her. Her pain was justified, she was bound to feel rejected,
“Shh… don’t cry… I’m here, okay… sia is always there for you… you have us and no one will hurt you as long as I’m here”Logan whispered as he wiped her tears she was hurting, and he felt her pain
“D… don’t touch me… you are just like… sobs… just like the rest of them”she said as she tried to get away from him, it was a bad idea to live with him, she was better off alone. She hated anyone seeing her in such a broken state, and hence she just wanted to go away somewhere just to be by herself
“Rhea”Logan called out and held her arm again and this time the woman hugged him unexpectedly and cried her heart out. Logan was left in a daze as he slowly reached for her back and carefully caressed her, his eyes closed as he pulled her even closer, as if wanting to consume her, so her pain would disappear. Everyone knew he was an emotional person, but he didn’t think so however at that moment with Rhea in his arms he could actually feel everything she was passing through, her bleeding heart and he couldn’t take it anymore as he got desperate
“Please don’t do this… its hurting me”Logan murmured as he slowly pried her off his chest and made her look at him, Rhea looked in his eyes and although it was slightly dark with only a night light in that could see the contours of his face and felt him move his hand to her waist
“You are beautiful… don’t ever doubt that”he murmured softly and lowered to plant a kiss on her forehead only for Rhea to feel an electric shiver through her body, the man did not stop there as he went on and kissed her tears away. Rhea hissed a little and rested her hand on his chest, she wanted to push him away and her brain registered the intruder getting his way but everything he was doing was soothing her aching heart making her have the urge to drown in Logan’s embrace
“Everything about you… is remarkable… any man… who has you in his life is very… lucky… your heart is pure”he mumbled against her cold skin as his hot breath left a burning sensation that ran throughout her entire body making her knees feel jelly. The wind blew through the window as Logan kissed her exposed flesh even though it felt cold the air brushing against her exposed flesh making her feel like a free bird ready to fly, Rhea was getting hot as she leaned towards the man who had his strong arm draped on her back giving her support,
“L… Logan… don’t… lie”she mumbled with eyes closed when she felt him bite her neck softly such that she couldn’t feel herself any more her mind was blank and her heart was pounding loudly
“Shh… let me prove it”saying, so the man in one swift picked her up bridal style making Rhea to gasp at his sudden action as she gripped his shoulder not sure what had gotten into the man to act the way he was acting
“W… what are you doing?” Rhea asked when Logan placed her in the middle of the bed and hovered on her, his eyes were fixed on her and rhea lowered her gaze only to find she was only in a very revealing nighty, ‘damn’ she cursed silently and tried to keep her legs together however before she could react the man captured her lips for a kiss and Rhea’s mind went blank because it was the first time the man had kissed her hence her first kiss with him.
