“Okay bestie, I’m fine now… don’t worry”Rhea said over the phone talking to Sia who called her immediately she reached home and now Rhea who just finished her shower wearing a towel around her body said as she sat down in front of the mirror and looked her bottle of lotion.
“I know Sia, I don’t know what’s wrong with me… I’ve been feeling this way for quite some time now”it was hard to predict what the heck was going on with her but recently, she had been feeling awful and back at the farm house everything was going great until she passed out.
“Alright, goodnight… kisses”Rhea said and cut the call after getting lectured by Sia and of course she took it. She was just happy the day wasn’t fully wasted because Tara and Sia made up already, and were back to their normal way.
Rhea finished getting dressed and prepared to get some shut eyes since she was exhausted, however there was a knock at her door and she knew it was Logan.
“Come in”she said as she adjusted her night dress and fixed her hair which was wet and the door opened and Logan walked in holding a tray and Rhea knew the man was acting like a gentleman.
“Logan… I’m not hungry please”she said honestly as she put her hand on her mouth, not sure why she was feeling weird each time she saw food or even smelled it.
“That’s not your decision to make… you didn’t have dinner so as a good man and a friend… I brought this”Logan said with a smile and pushed his way to her bed and Rhea sighed as she sat on her bed and looked at the various food he had prepared, and she couldn’t resist something he made because the man was kind of different from other men. Rhea kept her gaze on him and she watched the man as he served her. He was too nice for her, she just wished to have a man like him.
“I heard you… fainted”Logan said as he gave her the plate full of his specialty mostly noodles and other cuisines which he knew how to make.
“It wasn’t like that”she denied and took a bite of her chicken and Logan scanned her carefully then averted his eyes and looked around the room.
“Can I… ask you a question”he said softly and Rhea looked up at him and nodded because she couldn’t say anything since she had a mouthful.
“D… did you ever… see your dad?”he asked knowing full well the topic was sensitive to Rhea, she had a different childhood, and he just wished he had been there maybe if he had seen past the love he had for Sia and looked in Rhea’s direction, maybe just maybe he would have entered her life sooner and prevented all the bad things from happening to her.
“I didn’t see him… mom said it wasn’t worth it, so I chose to act blind about it”when she was of age she used to ask her mom about her dad because her friends at school used to talk about their father and asked her about where her dad was which made her feel bad and unwanted.
“I’m sure you… wanted to meet him right… at some point?”
“At some point, but not anymore… I have everything now,, so I don’t think I can miss someone who wasn’t concerned about my existence”She was done crying over spilled milk and her so-called father was someone she didn’t even want to think about. Logan didn’t say anything after that, but watched her as she ate everything he had prepared for her. It was weird because lately the woman had been eating more than she normally did, hence he wondered what was happening to her.
“Wow… that was delicious”Rhea said like a kid as he licked her fingers and held her tummy which was full and smiled even more.
“Don’t be so happy this was the last time I made this”Logan said with a smirk and took the tray from Rhea’s laps and set it aside and shifted to a comfortable sitting position and Rhea frowned, he was bossy again a minute ago she thought he was being nice, but the man didn’t miss a chance to bully her.
“Thanks Logan… you are a true friend”she said with a smile and Logan pouted and chuckled at how cute she looked.
“Are you ready for tomorrow?”he asked seriously and Rhea stopped laughing and nodded slowly.
“Yeah… I’m ready”she continued nodding because she knew how important the next day was, Logan’s parents would be throwing a party to welcome her as the family’s daughter-in-law and half of the city was invited, even sia and Emiliano were going to be there which was perfect.
“It’s late now… get some sleep”Logan said as he rose from the bed and Rhea nodded awkwardly “Here, let me help”he added as he helped her to lie down and covered her with a blanket.
“Sleep tight”Logan whispered after some time turned off the lights and walked to the door before looking back at Rhea only to find that she had raised her head and was looking at him, the man smiled at her and left closing the door lightly. Rhea smiled faintly and put her head back on the pillows and blinked several times, and her hand automatically moved to her belly and rubbed her hand gently in circles. She wasn’t sure, maybe it was just a false alarm.

Sia had a huge smile on her face as she hummed to a tune and walked back to her room drying her hair, she was feeling fine after a wonderful day, other than Rhea’s fainting situation she had so much fun like she normally did with Tara. Emiliano arched his brows as he shoved his laptop aside and scanned his wife looking all hot in a towel but didn’t dare have ideas because he decided that Diego was going to spend the night in their room and currently the baby was sleeping beside him playing on his own.
“Maybe I know why you are so happy?”Emiliano asked out of curiosity and sia turned around and winked at her and again Emiliano lost to the woman, she was what he called a walking time bomb any mistake, and she would get hot and explode and he the victim would get burned and wanted her for the rest of the night.
“It’s nothing… but you seem worried… what’s going on with you?”she asked and walked to the bed and sat down, Emiliano didn’t answer as he took his laptop again and focused his eyes on the screen. Sia saw through him and knew whatever it was the man wasn’t ready to share.
“Fine whatever it is… feel free to tell me once you get over whatever it is’ ‘she said in frustration and walked to the closet to get her night dress and once she was comfortable, she walked back to the bed and took the left side of the bed. She hated it when the man hid things from her,, but she wasn’t going to force him if he preferred not to tell her. Emiliano stopped what he was doing only to glanced at his wife, and she was facing the other way, he didn’t have a choice but to keep some things from her. But he promised to tell her everything once he gathered enough information, however he had to work on making sure everyone was safe including Rhea, even though he knew Logan was capable of doing just that.
