Logan had no words to say to make Sia forgive him, all he could do was watch as the woman slapped him across the face repeatedly. Emiliano felt for Logan, but he didn’t dare interfere seeing how angry his wife was,
“H… how could you do this… I… I trusted you”she tried to say but her came out all cracked, she felt like she had a dry lump on her throat making it impossible to speak properly, Logan had his head lowered in shame not knowing what to do, but he was embarrassed of his actions and now the woman he happened to love and cherish was upset with him.
“You shouldn’t have done this… let me tell you this… I’m glad that snake attacked me not him…”she said with so much anger but at her words both Emiliano and Logan looked at her in pure awe, Emiliano couldn’t believe what he just heard his wife say and Logan was utterly surprised.
“Sia I’m… I’m sorry I was angry p…”he started to plead, however she raised her hand for him to stop because no amount of apology would change the fact that Logan dared to cause harm to her husband.
“I can tolerate anyone playing with me… but if anyone dares to harm him then that person is my enemy!”she yelled as she pointed her finger at Emiliano, he was special to her and if anything ever happened to him, she would be shattered. Of course to sia the words may just be mere words, but she had no idea how much effect they were having on Emiliano, he felt a knot tighten in his chest as he softened his gaze looking at his wife. He was aware of how much Sia loved him, but hearing her defend him made him feel warm inside. On the other hand, Logan felt like his heart was being ripped out of his chest, this was what he was afraid of hearing sia say the words, and now she just said to his face how much she loved Emiliano the same man who hurt her.
“My love for him can never be changed overnight… what did you think… that if you got rid of him I would love you?”she remarked nothing but anger was written on her face that even Emiliano felt bad for Logan’s situation he didn’t mean to say that or let sia know because he knew how much Sia trusted Logan and the fact that she treated Logan as a good friend.
“I love him more than my life, and you dared to harm him… you don’t deserve my trust you don’t deserve my friendship because… you are a disgusting murder!”she couldn’t believe the person she had trusted betrayed her, she trusted Logan more than she trusted Emiliano because she knew Logan was good at heart and would never do anything that would hurt her, and he had been conspiring against her behind her back all because of his obsession.
“Please sia… I’m so sorry… I’m ashamed of what I did… but I have no choice I was hurt that you left me for him… you didn’t give my love a chance… I love you Sia”yes she tried to ruin and get rid of Emiliano, but he did all because of anger and jealousy. He couldn’t take it watching the woman he loved run into another man’s arms after all that had happened after all the promises,
“That’s… that’s not love… if you truly loved me, then you would have let me be happy with him… not trying to separate me from the man I love… its madness Logan”she said while shaking her head and by now tears were falling on her face on their own. Her heart was in pain, she had fought with Emiliano countless times over Logan, and she chose to go against her husband because she felt bad she broke Logan’s heart by marrying another man when she was to get married to him that was why she decided to stay friends with him just to compensate for what she did to him, but she had no idea that the same man she trusted only had bad intentions for her happiness.
“Sia he didn’t mean to… please don’t”Emiliano tried to reason with her but she cut him off.
“Stay out of this!”she glared at him and shifted her attention to Logan while was also angry as he poured out his anger at her.
“So what he did was right, huh? He came between us, he forced you to marry him, and he’s a hero now? You didn’t look back to see the agony I was going through… having to watch you shower love on a man who raped you!”
*Slap*
Immediately the last words left his mouth another slap connected on his face making Logan stumble back due to the strong impact and Emiliano flinched and held Sia, she was breathing heavily from anger and Emiliano knew Logan had crossed his boundaries which made Sia even more angry.
“Don’t you dare utter a single word about my private life and what I do… yes I chose him and guess what… I’ll always choose him a thousand times got that… now get out!”she yelled so much that Logan felt his eyes water, he wasn’t ready to hear such harsh words. He always thought there was a chance of Sia loving him, but his fears had come true he was hurt the woman he loved didn’t love him.
“Y… you are wrong… you don’t understand… I love you more than anything sia please…”if begging was gonna work then he was going to go but Sia shrugged Logan’s hands away and ran out of the study room leaving even Emiliano feeling hurt. He had been in a similar situation before, and he knew exactly what it felt to be rejected by the woman you love, just like Tara did to him. She said so many horrible things to him and now Logan had gone through the same rejection, which hurt more than anything. If he asked whose side he was on, then he would side with Logan, sia had every right to be upset but no rights to say such horrible words to him, it was like mocking his love.
“Go on say your worse”Logan said as he looked up at Emiliano waiting for him to continue where sia left from but to his surprise he only pulled the man in a hug.
“She’s just hurt for now… just give her time to come around… you are her friend”he lingered for a while as he patted Logan on the back and pulled back leaving Logan shocked because of Emiliano’s actions, the man hated him, but he was the one comforting him.
“I’ll be on my way”Logan said and left the study room too. Emiliano sighed and walked out too, he needed to calm Sia down no matter what.
Logan rushed out and headed straight to the door he needed to clear his head hence all he wanted was to be alone.
“Logan”Rhea who was coming from the kitchen direction with Diego in her arms and holding a bottle of baby milk called out to Logan, but the man ignored her and stormed out of the mansion leaving her wondering what just happened however when she saw Emiliano storm upstairs she knew things didn’t go well between the two men.
“Should we pry more baby?”Rhea whispered to Diego but shook her head disagreeing to her idea of meddling in other’s affairs.
“We should go and sleep for now… you and I are now roomies”she said cheerfully and made her say upstairs to her room. She would see Logan and find out what happened, since it already was late.
