The first rays of sunlight lit up Sia and Emiliano’s room. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in disturbing Sia but she could care less.
The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. Golden fingers of sunlight lit up the scene. The just-risen sun shone softly on the city streets, bringing with it a flurry of early morning activity. Sia snuggled more to her pillow as a smile crept on her lips. She knew she had the urge to wake up, but she wanted to sleep more, to go back to her dream world and see her prince charming, however a pair of cold lips on her skin made her jerk back to her senses as she moaned softly and raised her head a little since she was lying on her stomach while supporting her head with both folded arms.
“Wake up princess”she heard that sexy deep manly voice murmur against her ear and like a happy wife she shrugged him off and snuggled more to the pillow. Emiliano, who was trying to wake his wife up, smiled and knew she was still dreaming of him.
“Fine… I’ll leave without saying good morning”Emiliano said with some annoyance to it and turned to leave however immediately he said that sia jumped up and held his arm and Emiliano smirked and turned to her.
“Alright you win Mr. Casanova… good morning”she said dramatically with a mischievous grin and pulled him for a hug and Emiliano had no choice than to chuckle and hugged her back, although she was sitting on the bed while he was standing.
“Morning princess, ready for breakfast?”he asked and moved away from her and walked to the table and took a tray full of heavy breakfast and at the sight of food sia widened her eyes in shock because what he brought looked like something four people would eat.
“Great, breakfast in bed with you… sounds lovely”she cheered like a kid given candy and moved in a comfortable position, so the man could put the little table and the tray a bit closer to her.
“Not for me but… you”Emiliano walked back to her with a surprised raised brow and carefully set her food just before her, sia’s eyes brightened more as she looked at her favorite French toast, some omelet and pancakes with syrup. A glass of pineapple juice and Sia knew he was spoiling her on purpose.
“But why so much… have you had anything though?”she stopped to asked him before she ate anything and Emiliano smiled warmly and sat on the bed beside her and planted a kiss on her forehead.
“Already did… but now have something… I’ll be on my way so first eat”he said softly and fixed her hair which fell on her face and Sia frowned, according to him, she wasn’t in a state to walk , but the man said he was being careful, hence he ordered her to stay at home.
“Can’t you stay with me?”she asked with a cute frown and opened her mouth, so the man could feed her the toast and Emiliano was happy to feed his wife. He was already ready for work and like he said he had some pending work so much work and delaying anymore was out of question.
“I’m sorry, baby… but I have some issues at the factory, but I promise to come back early”he remarked with a smile and made her drink some juice and like an obedient wife Sia drank the juice and looked at him without blinking.
“Every time I think about the factory… I get a funny feeling… please don’t go around putting your life at risk”she was worried about him and every second he went to that factory she got an uneasy feeling, sia reached for his shirt and fixed his tie. He was looking handsome in his suit too handsome,
“Shh… it’s nothing serious. I’m just going to inspect some machines, that’s all… so don’t worry sweetheart”he assured her and Sia had no choice but to believe him. Emiliano stayed a while longer until sia had eaten a lot, and he too had some food as per her request,
“You should stay in bed… I’ll have mom send lulu to help with whatever you might need”he lamented as he walked to the closet to retrieve a few files and sia nodded and got out of bed still dressed in Emiliano’s white shirt which just reached mid-thigh, her hair was now in a messy bun.
“Okay… I’ll be busy as well… I still have some papers to attend to hence Mario will be here”she has a few matters to attend and since she had gone to her honeymoon she hasn’t done much since she got back, especially the matters’ relationship to remodeling a farmhouse to one of the most influential women in the city.
“Take care”he kissed her lips and immediately walked out of the room. Sia stood there and exhaled a little, she now was in good terms with her husband, but she still had some issues to solve with Angel and thinking about Angel she was wondering if Angel was around. Was she safe without Emiliano at home?

“Why do I have to act like your driver, huh..? I’m so tired now”Rhea said in frustration as she parked the car at the only spot left in the parking area and Logan who had been quiet the entire time remained quiet.
Rhea opened the car door and stepped out so did Logan and both walked inside a restaurant to have some lunch after a long tiresome day. Rhea wondered why Logan was so grumpy since they left from his Father’s company. Early in the morning the man had woken her up and asked her to drive him to several places and their last destination was at Martinez company, she had no idea why they went there but after some minutes Logan stormed out of the building all angry and aggressive. She wanted to pry more, but the man was all moody no matter how much she tried to talk to him, he yelled at her not to irritate him more than he already was hence she stayed out of his business.
“Have a nice meal sir”the waiter who saved them a hot meal said as soon as he served the food and with excitement Rhea picked up the chopsticks and dug in. Logan stared at the food but found no appetite to eat any of it, he had some issues and after a visit to the company his mood was fully off. All he wanted was to talk to his dad and reason with him,, but his dad was still insisting on him finding a woman to marry. His dad didn’t care about the woman’s status but all he wanted was for him to have a wife only then would he get his wealth back.
“Come on… why are you so grumpy huh… eat up because I won’t cook when we get home”She warned him in a deadly tone and as if he listened to her Logan took his fork and tasted the food. It was like he was getting his punishment, he had no money no nice cars or a luxurious life he used to have in the past.
“L… Logan… we should go now”he heard Rhea say in a nervous voice, but he brushed it off however Rhea stopped eating and grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the restaurant without even bothering to pay for the food leaving the waiter to shout after them to stop but Rhea completely dragged Logan out.
“What’s your problem, huh?” Logan shrugged her off as soon as they got out to the parking lot and Rhea nervously scanned her surroundings as if searching for someone or something and Logan narrowed his eyes suspiciously at her.
“Nothing okay… we just need to go… now”saying that she took out the car keys desperately and opened the car and both got in, Rhea heaved a silent sigh of relief and started the car, but just then four men in black suits came out of the blue and stood in front of the car making her to stop which surprised Logan.
“S***”Rhea cursed and tried to hide but one of the men walked to her door opened it and pulled her out by her hair and she cried in pain as she kicked and protested.
“L… let me go!”she screamed until she got out of the vicious man’s grip.
“You thought you could run from us long huh… the boss wants his wife back and now let’s go”one of the scary men said in an angry dark voice that had Rhea feeling goosebumps on her skin as she shook her head nervously not wanting her past to catch up on her just when she had found peace.
“I.. I won’t come with you… I… I won’t marry that disgusting man”she shouted on top of her lungs as tears fell down her cheeks making even Logan who was still in the car minding his own business to wonder what was happening, the men outside looked intimidating because the wild cat who called herself brave was utterly scared.
