“Are you kidding me!” Rhea exclaimed in disdain as she immediately covered her eyes with her hands and Logan darkened his expression as he set down his magazine and arched a brow at her.
“What? don’t tell me you haven’t seen anything like this before”he remarked with a scoff and Rhea strode to him and stood by his bed, the man was completely naked, he had no shirt or jeans on but just in his forbidden, she couldn’t even say the word or think about it.
“How can you be so shameless huh”she said, but Logan groaned as he crouched the side of his chest which was bandaged and Rhea frowned? It had been two days since she had butchered him and since then, the man had been blackmailing her into doing whatever he wanted saying if she refused him then he would send her to jail, and now it was in the middle of the day she was working and Logan called her to rush to his villa directly.
“I’m in pain… can’t you see… you forgot about your duties”he winced in pain as he showed a sad face and adjusted to a sitting position, yes he was utterly naked, and he didn’t care because he was going through so much pain. Two days ago, a psychotic woman performed surgery on him with a fork, a spoon and a kitchen knife, for everything’s sake he went through hell just to get the bullet out, and now he was still feeling the pain to the extreme.
“I saved your life… you should be thankful”She remarked and walked to his closet, she wasn’t going to let him stay naked as if he was the only one in the room at least he needed to feel some shame.
“You nearly caused my death… you shot me, and now you take care of me or else jail will be your fate”it was pure blackmail in broad daylight and Rhea had no choice than to obey him.
“Shut up because you deserved it, you wanted to ruin Sia and Emiliano’s relationship”she walked back to him and covered his lower part with a quilt she took from the cupboard and Logan frowned as he tried to shove it off, but Rhea threw a death glare at him.
“Sia is the love of my life… no one can make her happy other than me”no one understood how special sia was to him no matter what he wanted the best for her and to make her happy.
“D… do you love her that much?” Rhea asked as she sat beside him and started checking his window, it was time to change the bandage because it looked soaked in blood.
“More than you can imagine”he murmured and shifted his gaze towards his chest and watched as she was removing the bandage. Rhea didn’t react but nodded.
“If you love her that much then why can’t you let her be happy with her husband… do you want to be known for someone who destroyed someone’s marriage just to get what you want”she said it more like a whisper, but she was clear with her statement, Logan didn’t say anything, but he knew she was just trying to play her mind games.
“He came between us, he took her away from me… what I’m doing is justice.”
“Justice would be made if Sia wants you too, but she’s now in love with her husband… before you do anything think about Diego… you grew up with both parents and had their love but… do you want Diego to be separated from his parents”rhea was clear as she fully removed the bandage and kept it aside and walked to the bathroom to get first aid kit, now she knew she needed a first aid at her place. Logan stayed quiet as he looked at the bullet hole and the window was fresh, the pain was fresh and Rhea’s words were a mickey to his feelings. Yes, he was doing something bad, but he just wanted what was his, sia was his from the beginning and Emiliano broke them apart without thinking twice how he would feel, so why should he bother about Emiliano’s happiness. Rhea came back and sat back down and took out what she needed.
“H… have you ever been in love before?” Logan asked as he flinched because she was applying ointment which hurt like hell,
“No… I’m not a fan”she simply replied and Logan scoffed in disdain and shifted around.
“Will you keep still… or do you want me to pour all this on you”she said in anger.
“You should know your place okay… this is your job… go back home pack your bags and move in”he gave his order and Rhea looked up, and she applied more force to his wound such that it started bleeding badly.
“I won’t come here… look for helpers not me.”
“You shot me and I have no money to pay helpers… I can’t move or do anything so… move in or go to jail… your choice”he has no money because his father has refused to unfreeze his accounts, and hence he couldn’t afford his luxurious life for the time been until he earned his father’s trust again, and now he was helpless and have no way of moving around.
“Fine, but I promise to make your life a nightmare Logan… just you wait!”
“Ouch… ouch… you psychotic woman how dare… ouch…”he cried in pain as he tried to keep calm, but the woman was causing him so much pain but not to worry he took was going to make her life miserable.
Of course rhea had a chance to refuse, but she had no choice because Mario and Angelo came up with a ridiculous plan.
*Flashback*
“You shot him… now that’s fun”Mario had exclaimed with pure happiness as he walked around her apartment half naked holding a glass of liquor while Angelo was carelessly sleeping on the couch snuggling to the side pillows.
“Good work kid… I knew you were good for something”it was Angelo who said loudly in a lazy tone and Rhea who was in the kitchen getting dinner ready frowned as she walked back to the living room and handed a bowl of noodles to Mario.
“He said he would sue me for that if I don’t do as he said”she remarked and dropped on the couch and Angelo opened his eyes and looked up at her.
“It’s good… new plan… make use of this opportunity.”
“Exactly… if we want to keep Logan away from sia and Emiliano then we need to distract him”Mario said with a mouthful, but Rhea didn’t know what the two crazy brothers were saying, Angelo rolled his eyes at her for her stupidity, and he sat up.
“Simple… you are the distraction… simply befriend him… annoy him… do anything to divert his attention to something else”it was crystal clear, Logan was obsessed with sia, and hence they just needed to distract the man then he would change his mind.
“Are you crazy… why should I do that… what if… what if he falls in love with me like Emiliano did to Tara”she said shyly, but the two men burst out in laughter such that Angelo fell from the couch laughing hysterically and Mario kept chuckling and pointing a fork at her. Rhea frowned and wondered what funny thing she said.
“Darling, sweetheart… my little pet… no man will fall for you”it was Mario who said with laughter.
“Exactly… if you didn’t manage to entice us in the past… what makes you think Logan will feel things for you… that’s ridiculous”Angelo too added as he sat back on the couch and grabbed the bowl of noodles from Mario who whined but stood up and headed to the kitchen. Rhea didn’t even know what to say to the brothers because clearly they called her an incompetent woman,
“I… I can make any man fall for me… I just don’t like the idea”she pouted and complained like a kid and angelo moaned a little as he ate more of his noodles.
“Just distract the man… don’t do anything other than keeping logan away from Sia… its a simple task and if you succeed… I’ll do whatever you want”Angelo was serious and Rhea looked the idea hence was going to try.
“Fine”she replied and put both legs on the couch and lost in thoughts thinking about what she would do to keep logan from Sia and emiliano.
*End of Flashback*
“Fine I’ll pack my bags and come here… but don’t you dare do anything funny”Rhea said to him as she gathered the things she was using and shoved them back in the box and logan rolled his eyes as he looked at the clean bandage and was satisfied, it seemed the psychotic woman really must have been a nurse in her past life she did a good job.
“Just like you… I only have eyes for Sia”he leaned to her and whispered and Rhea out of irritation pressed her index finger on his wound and Logan moved back.
“I’ll gouge those eyes out and feed them to the dogs then we’ll see… how you see another man’s wife”saying that she got up from the bed and Logan cursed multiple times, his hatred for Rhea was growing each day she opened her mouth to say nonsense to him.
Rhea still kept in mind to call Sia later on and find out how her honeymoon was going since they haven’t spoken since sia found out about Tara and emiliano hence she prayed that everything was fine between the two love birds.
