“Do you think it was a good idea to leave Sia alone”Angelo asked as they settled down to have dinner since they had a long day convincing Sia and actually trying to cheer her up but in the end she got irritated and chased them away and well they had no choice than to leave.
“Yup she’s really upset, so we had to do it, right Lucia?” Rhea said as she turned to Lulu who was looking nervous because she wanted to avoid leaving Sia alone with Diego, but they dragged her with them to have a little fun.
“Y… yes”Lulu replied with a light nod as she fiddled with her cold hands not used to hanging out with rich people who were her bosses but here she was at one of the most expensive restaurants in Canada.
“Come on cheer up, let’s order”Angelo said in a happy tone as he rubbed his hands together and a waiter came to them.
“Hello, good evening welcome to our restaurant”a man in chef clothes said and Mario nodded and handed him all four menus since they already selected what they wanted, he smiled and left immediately.
“Lulu, don’t you miss home I mean I’ve never seen you visit your family before”Rhea asked as they waited for their food and Rhea hearing her question lowered her head, she never liked talking about her family that much not like she was a bad person, but there wasn’t anything to talk about.
“I’d rather not say anything”she replied in a low tone and Rhea not wanting to push the subject further nodded lightly and glanced at Mario who gestured for her not to ask a thing. He already knew about Rhea’s situation, and it was the most sensitive story she wouldn’t talk about in public however he took didn’t hear it from her but from Angie who was like an aunt to Lucia, and he really felt bad for the girl.
“Okay I guess the food is here”Rhea said with a smile as their food was brought to their table and Lulu widened her eyes in surprise seeing all the foreign cuisines she had never tasted in her life. Angelo saw through her and nudged at her with his elbow and Lulu looked glanced at him, and he winked at her, and she giggled getting the others’ attention including Mario who didn’t see or know what happened but when he saw how Angelo was putting food on Lulu’s plate, and she was actually smiling at him as her eyes shone bright with a glimmer of happiness anyone rarely saw, he felt strange as suddenly most his appetite.
“Excuse me I’ll be back”Mario simply said and pushed the chair back and walked away heading to the restroom. Rhea followed his gaze until he was out of sight and glanced back at the table not sure if to eat or play detective because she saw some uncalled-for tension.
“Wow really”Their voices brought her back to senses and looked at Angelo and Lulu busy in a heated conversation as he explained the various food they ordered, like always they decided to go for Korean dishes and most of them Lulu only saw them in k-dramas but here she was tasting each.
“Yup, I love red rice cakes, but I go for kimchi or bibimbap, it’s great”Angelo remarked with a smile and Lulu made a puppy face and ate more chicken soup she ordered. Rhea smirked as she glanced to the direction where Mario had gone to and actually figured it out, ‘Mario had a small thing for the little lady’ how nice she thought and patted herself on the shoulder for being such a brainier.
“Guys we should do this more often, I mean I think Lucia hasn’t toured Canada that much so how about we arrange a fun picnic or anything just the four of us… that is if you don’t mind Mr. lawyer”Rhea said and the two looked at her, Lulu didn’t say anything because she had work and Diego to look after hence it was up to sia to say yes or no.
“Sure, I could need some break… oh look the idiot is here”Angelo said without a care as Mario came back with his eyes glued to his phone and he sat down only to find the three people staring at him with wide eyes.
“What? take a pic it will last longer”Mario remarked with some irritation to his voice and picked up his chopsticks and started having his black noodles
“Welcome”Rhea said, and the other two chuckled and got back to having their food. Mario secretly glanced at Lulu and found her eating, then averted his eyes. And of course, Rhea had sharp eyes and a sharp mind that registered everything and had a plan.

Meanwhile Sia had woken up several times and there was no sign of her husband anywhere, she felt even more irritated when Rhea and the others kept nagging her, and hence she sent them away including Lulu, and currently she was in Diego’s room watching him as he slept innocently. According to the instructions Carmen sent she was still ill and needed to take care of herself, but she couldn’t care less knowing full well Emiliano didn’t care about her health not like it was a forcing matter, but she greatly desired and wanted him to be there with her, but he wasn’t.
“He doesn’t care about us does he?” So whispered to Diego, but it was no use even Diego didn’t want her, and therefore she felt abandoned and hated everything around her.
“I… I hate him and won’t bother with the likes of him”she mumbled in an angry tone and hugged her knees close to her chest and lowered her head, how on earth was she feeling irritated with him not like it was a problem, but she just felt bad and alone more like an empty feeling and only Emiliano could fill it for her to be complete and feel better however he wasn’t there. Anyone would call her actions dramatic however she wasn’t being dramatic actually listening to what her heart was desiring.
Lost in thoughts, Sia heard their bedroom door slam and with a jerk to her senses she looked up and knew he had come. Luckily, Diego’s room was just opposite their bedroom.
With speed she rose to her feet and ran out of the room and pushed her bedroom door open only to see a frightening sight before her.
“W… what happened to you?”she whispered as she muffled her mouth with her hand and Emiliano, noticing her presence, turned around only for Sia to see his white shirt drenched in blood and his right hand was bleeding heavily because blood had dripped on the floor as well, and she knew something terrible had happened.
