“Hahaha hilarious now, you mean the man asked you to be his girlfriend?” Rhea burst out in laughter and Sia embraced it because it sounded ridiculous, how could Emiliano reduce her to being a girlfriend when she was his wife. Was it some sort of promotion but in her case it was the opposite because she was now demoted to the lowest ranks.
“Shut up Rhea, I know it’s horrible, but he was cute when he asked”Sia said with a blush recalling the sweetest side of her husband she didn’t know he had now the past few days Emiliano had been extra caring in fact sia felt as if their relationship has a meaning now.
“Sia he’s just trying to start over… I’m sure he regrets the circumstances that lead to the marriage, and hence he wants to make it up to you”Rhea said seriously as she gathered more building blocks for Diego who was lying on a large baby pillow and hearing her words Sia looked up with a blank expression as she thought over what Rhea had said and blinked several times while she tried to insert the crews in the holes of the new crib she was trying to put together. It was nearly late and Sia together with rhea were currently in Diego’s playground to the left wing of the mansion other than Diego’s actual room sia had toured the mansion and found the play room and had to say it was large and amazing so full of all kinds of toys packed away, and again she was confused as to why Emiliano didn’t tell her about the room.
“Do you think he’s tired now?”sia ignored replying to Rhea and asked her instead, Rhea saw through her friend and greatly understood her because sia and Emiliano’s relationship started off at the wrong football, and it wasn’t love at first sight or obsession, but both had their differences which made them disagree on certain things, but now they were married and had a sin together, and hence both needed to act as adults and live peacefully for Diego to receive the love of both parents.
“I don’t think, so he seems to be enjoying himself”Rhea said with chuckles as he stared at Diego playing with a stuffed toy and of course trying to it, sia smiled as she watched her son act cutely and for the first time she wanted her life to be with such peace of mind.
“Yeah guess, but I don’t know what to get him for tomorrow”she didn’t think Diego would need anything because Emiliano already provided everything a bay would need including what he wouldn’t which has Rhea talking and raising Emiliano for being a great dad.
“Ask Emil, sia tell me how long did it take for Emil to make this room not just this but the playground outside for Diego including Diego’s little bedroom?” If Emiliano never accepted Diego in the beginning, then how come he had made everything ready for Diego that even when Sia and him got married everything was set in place. Again Sia looked up and shook her head not knowing a thing and pushed some strands of hair that fail to her face, she was wearing matching soft white sweatpants and a long sleeved crop shirt with her hair tied in a bun.
“Come in help me with this”Sia said but just then the door slowly pushed open, and both women glanced to the direction only to see Emiliano standing there and judging by his wet hair and changed of clothes Sia guessed he came a long time ago.
“Good evening brother-in-law, I’ll take my leave now”Rhea quickly said with a nervous bow and said bye to Diego who had his eyes on his dad and immediately ran out of the room only then did Sia stop what she was doing and look at him. He looked down as if something happened.
“Is something wrong?” Sia got up and asked him but Emiliano shook his head in denial and glanced down at the crib and narrowed his eyes suspiciously and walked further him and sat down beside Diego and picked him up.
“When would he start crawling?”he asked as he raised him in the air, so he could stress and the little one did and Emiliano smiled warmly at him.
“Very soon I guess”sia sat down too and started gathering the toys scattered around.
“He’s a big boy now”Emiliano complimented because he could hear Diego making sounds as if trying to speak, and he was certain he would do that sooner than they expected.
“You sound low, what happened?” Sia asked in a low tone, but Emiliano didn’t know where to start from or what to ask her or was he supposed to apologize. His mind was in chaos, that was why he dropped all the meetings he had and decided to retire home early.
“No, everything is fine… did you have dinner yet?” Emiliano asked and Sia shook her head, she was waiting for him and asked told by her mom, Carmen and granny she was to wait for Emiliano, so they could have dinner together.
“Oh then let’s go I’m starving”saying that Emiliano took Diego in his arms and got up.
“Sure”sia said and got to her feet, and stretched her aching body and Emiliano couldn’t help it but still a glance at his wife looking beautiful too beautiful to look away and as if Sia saw through him, she adjusted the small top which barely reached her belly, but it was useless because her toned belly could be seen, and her husband was shamelessly gawking at her.
Sia and Emiliano got downstairs to the dining room and the food was already served, Lulu together with two other servers took Diego away, so they could feed him and left the couple to have their dinner.
“You made this?” Emiliano asked Sia as she served him, but that was a terrible idea because he received a death glare from her that shut him up.
“Yes, who else huh”she remarked, and the man chuckled and pulled out a chair, so she could sit and Sia not used to having dinner with him sat down.
Dinner between the two went well as occasionally the man served his wife making her eat more than she wanted and sia had to tell her cooking was getting better by the day because Emiliano had said that to her multiple times and complimented her more than she deserved. After dinner concluded, Sia took Diego to his room, while Emiliano went to the room as well. He was sitting in the bed waiting for Sia while he went through his office work,, but two hours passed and the woman was not showing up. Emiliano stopped his work and decided to go see her but dropped the idea because he knew she was with Diego.
“Now I have to share her”he complained as he paced with frustration getting tired of waiting for his wife, but suddenly the door knob turned and with great speed Emiliano sat on the bed and pretended to be lost looking at his phone and Sia pushed the door and walked in but stopped when she saw him not sleeping yet.
“You are still awake?”she thought he would be asleep but the man.
“Well I’m going”he replied awkwardly and climbed on the bed, Sia didn’t think much as she switched off the lights and went to take her side of the bed and relaxed on her back. The room was quiet too quiet that Emiliano didn’t know why he was feeling restless.
“Come here”he whispered because the woman was far away from him, Sia heard him and immediately turned and Emiliano pulled her close and gathered her in his arms as she rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.
“Tomorrow I have a small picnic planned for the three of us, d… do you wanna come with?”he went on and asked and a surprised Sia looked up at him and averted her eyes.
“With Diego too?”she asked and Emiliano nodded “okay”she agreed and Emiliano secretly smiled, from now on he was going to give his family all his time no matter what and made up his mind to make beautiful memories just for his wife. Maybe he could erase the sad memories that haunted her dreams every night.

While Emiliano made his plans Tara was sitting outside in the garden looking at the stars. She remembered just how her childhood with Sia was, her little sister was precious to her and wanted nothing but for her life to be peaceful but her past and naive ways cost everyone’s life and due to what she did, she destroyed a lot of lives. Tears couldn’t help but fall on their own. She regretted everything and wished she could turn back time and stop her younger self from deceiving Emiliano the way she did.
“Here”she heard someone walk to her and draped a quilt around her body and tara looked up only to see angelo standing there with a serious expression on his face.
“You know my house is big enough, so if you chose to stay out here then what was the point of bringing you here”he said as he looked in the sky and tara wiped her tears quickly and gathered the quits tightly around her cold body. She had forgotten that she was at Angelo’s villa. She had gone out to see her client but when getting back home her car died in the middle of nowhere and angelo apparently used the same root and helped her out. It was getting late hence he decided to bring her to his villa.
“Thanks”she murmured and Angelo looked at her without blinking and all the emotions and feelings he had buried resurfaced seeing the woman he had loved his entire life before him. He couldn’t control himself because he still wanted her even if he denied it.
“Let’s talk about it”he suggested and Tara instantly looked up at him with wide eyes and Angelo sat down beside her and sighed heavily as he gathered words to say to her.
