So sat in her office the entire morning working nonstop and signing files that Mario urgently needed, and she had to admit all of it was hard work, but she was up for it because she made a bet with her father that if her little company doesn’t sink in six months, then Seth was willing to invest more and help her grow it but if the company sink, and she failed to run it, then she would have no choice than to go back to Navarro enterprises and take over the company as its CEO hence Sia was doing everything she could to make it work.
“Tell me Sia, I have a feeling you are hiding something”Sia heard Mario say and with a stretch, she looked away from the computer screen and glanced to Mario who was sitting on the couch doing nothing.
“And what could that be?”she asked with a small frown and got but to work in Mario nodded and rose to his feet and walked to her, pulled out a chair and prompt down opposite Sia.
“Are you one of those obsessive women who had some one-night stand with an unknown man and ends up falling for him the next day”he said his words nonchalantly such that Sia didn’t know how to react to Mario’s sarcastic terms, she knew how Mario never held back anything and went on and said whatever his brain thought of, and now he was doing just that.
“What are you trying to say?”sia asked with irritation and Mario chuckled as if her words were so funny but when sia looked up at his with a death glare he zipped his mouth and pretended to throw away the keys then straightened up and spoke.
“I mean you have a soft spot for him right? you are developing feeling for the Casanova”Mario simply said and leaned back hoping to sign her reaction but to his surprise the lady just shrugged and continued his work and Mario made a low curse.
“A little birdy told me you made late night dinner for him, is that true?”he attempted again and this time Sia looked up with a mocking smile and set down her files and Mario pushed his chair back nervously praying the lady doesn’t throw the laptop at him all because of his big curious mouth.
“I see your little spy is doing her job very well… tell me don’t you have anything to do”sia was beyond irritated with Mario, the man was so lazy that he preferred prying in other people’s affair than actually doing some work, and now he was at it again.
“Then its true he-he… but wait you are a terrible cook are you sure Emil didn’t scatter the food and rained insults at you for being such a terrible cook?” Mario was a curious freak,, especially when it came to Sia and Emiliano’s relationship. All he wanted was for Emiliano and Sia to be happy together as a family because he knew after what Emiliano went through he needed someone like Sia to forget his past. He was there when Tara said those nasty things to him, after she made him fall head over heels him she deliberately played saying it was just a challenge friend made to her to make the most handsome man in the city fall hard for her.
“Get out?” Sia said, but Mario shook her head.
“Nah… I think Emil… has a problem how can he eat poison made by you, and he is still breathing today tsk tsk poor man… I pity him”he went on and said with a disgusting face and sia’s anger had flared up such that her blood was boiling to the extent.
“He tolerated my bad cooking because he’s my husband, and I’m his wife okay!”she blurted out with rage, and her voice echoed throughout the entire office and Mario widened his eyes in shock but soon broke into laughter and Sia realizing what she just said shook her head.
“Well… I… I didn’t mean that”she stammered nervously and sat down.
“Yes you didn’t hahaha… but you just admitted that the Casanova is your husband and you my dear is his dear wife… wow”if there was someone in her life who was beyond irritating then it was Mario. Ever since they knew each other that was when she was just four years old, Mario had been her good friend, and he was like an older brother to her.
“You have nothing to do, kindly leave will you?”she remarked in defeat and Mario chuckled even more and rose to his feet and shoved his hands in his pockets and walked to the door but stopped and glanced back at Sia who had her eyes back to the computer screens and shook his head and left closing the door behind him and took out his phone(“bro I think the fire has started check on boss man and play with his mind a little, the boss lady has a soft spot in her heart for him”) Mario sent a message to Angelo and smirked, if Sia and Emiliano won’t admit their feelings, then they will have to play dirty.

Emiliano was having a hard day as he was looking at certain reports which came in from the factory supervisor, and he was losing it.
“Again, tell me what the heck is going on?”he slammed his fist hard on the table and Trey flinched in fear as his head lowered even more. He took was looking in the matter but so far, he had done something private investigation and all he found was that the fire started all due to a minor issue and according to the supervisor the machines were a bit old hence needed to be changed therefore Emiliano went ahead and bought more high-quality machines but still, they had the same fire problem and if it continued the company was going to lose a lot.
“Emil, take rest I’ll go there myself and do a thorough investigation”Angelo who was sitting listening to Trey finally spoke and Trey nodded while Emiliano looked so defeated as he leaned back and ran his hand in his hair in frustration.
“Both of you leave”he said in a low tone and Angelo sighed and made his way to the door so did Trey and closed the door once they left. Emiliano had his eyes closed for some time and when he opened them, he found someone with him standing before him and as if his mood wasn’t bad seeing Tara standing there made him feel even more angry.
“Get out!”he made a low yell, but Tara shook her head because she came to make him understand once and for all.
