“Tell me something, you had a perfect opportunity to get rid of her but you… you married her”Angelo asked suspiciously as he pulled out a chair just opposite Emiliano who was sitting behind his desk typing away on his laptop without paying his friend any attention and Angelo bit his lower lip and smirked.
“You thought he was the father didn’t you?” Angelo attempted again and this time he was successful because automatically Emiliano looked up at him and his expression turned serious and Angelo knew he had hit the nail on the head.
“It seems recently you don’t appear to be doing your job like I employed you to do because you are supposed to work not to pry in my affairs”he remarked in an angry tone but Angelo wasn’t bothered at his words because he was his friend, and hence he needed to know every tiny detail about him including his private bedroom affair.
“Drop the formalities and tell me what’s cooking, back at that masquerade party you saw those two kissing, didn’t you?” Angelo said, looking straight at him and saw how Emiliano’s face morphed into something deadly as he clenched his fist, hating every moment of that night. Yes, he found out about Sia being a Navarro a while back and knew she was about to marry Logan, at first, he thought she was being forced to marry him but when Trey informed him about their little past affairs he had his suspicions and thought maybe Diego belonged to Logan. He had to admit the truth because when the thought of the boy belonging to Logan click his mind he almost went crazy that was why he had taken a private DNA test without anyone knowing about it and once he found out he was Diego’s father he became possessive and hated it when Sia was about to marry Logan which also meant she planned to give Diego Logan’s last name.
“What do you want, huh?”he asked in fury and pushed his chair back helplessly and got up heading to the wine cellar and Angelo smirked more knowing full well something was up with Emiliano. He had a perfect chance to get rid of sia and her baby by letting Logan marry her, but suddenly, he changed his mind and stopped their engagement not just that, but he also married her and so far, he was now a married man which Emiliano hated from the depths of his heart.
“Have you developed any feelings for her perhaps?” Angelo simply asked and Emiliano who was busy pouring himself some wine to help him relax posed upon hearing his friend and looked back at him with a frown plastered in his face.
“Certainly not… don’t make assumptions I hate that”Emiliano replied coldly and gulped down the entire glass of wine and poured himself another and gulped it down too, but he didn’t seem to get his thirst quenched hence decided to pour another, but Angelo took the bottle from him and set it aside.
“Do you feel strange when you are around her?”Angelo asked, but no reaction came from Emiliano because his face was as blank as ever however Angelo wasn’t ready to back done.
“When she’s not around do you feel alone more like a part of you is missing?”he fired another question and this time Emiliano just blinked awkwardly and turned the other way and Angelo smirked a little.
“Do you enjoy it when you two fight over little things”he wanted to know what was going on in Emiliano’s head because he was someone who hid things like feelings and emotions and understanding what he was feeling Angelo knew his friend didn’t have a clue hence if ever he had any sort of feelings for Sia he wouldn’t dare say it or know.
“What do you feel when you see her body, do you get the urge to touch her and make love to her?” Angelo asked and yes, they were adults who knew what they wanted, hence talking about these stuffs wasn’t a sin or crime. Angelo waited for his response and the one he got was shocking.
“She’s not a toy to be used and played around with, get this in your head she’s worth more than my life”he said without realizing his words and Angelo beamed as his eyes widened in awe, a helpless smiled tagged at his lower lip only then did Emiliano realize what he just said to him.
“I didn’t mean that… well, what I meant was… her body isn’t what I see… I don’t care about physical appearance”Emiliano said defensively not sure if his words made sense but Angelo was so annoying.
“Yes you didn’t… he-he”Angelo chuckled and poured himself some strong wine and raised the glass in the air and mouthed a ‘cheers’ and gulped down the entire drink making Emiliano feel irritated that he glanced at his watch, and it was nearly time to go home and for some reason he was eagerly awaiting to go home for the first time.
“You are crazy”Emiliano said to Angelo who was still smiling and left the office after taking his coat and Angelo laughed even more and spoke
“I… I think he’s in love if I’m not mistaken… hahaha.”

Nothing felt better than making sure everything was alright in her new house, Sia had no idea what she was needed for her to do as a wife, but she knew making sure food was ready for her husband before he got back from work was crucial and since she was terrible in that field, the head chef had prepared everything, and she served at the dining table herself and since things were getting better between her and Emiliano she decided to keep it that way.
“Madam, Diego is asleep now… do you need anything”Lulu asked as she took the files Sia had scattered all around her bed and put them carefully on the table and took the glass of juice which was by the nightstand and Sia who was busy getting her night dress nodded as a smile crept on her face and lulu blushed seeing her boss happy. She had to admit that while they spent the night out she prayed they got closer to each other and judging by her boss’s cheerful mood since she got back, something interesting must have happened.
“Do you need anything? Or are you planning to help me shower”Sia asked with narrowed eyes and Lulu jerked back to her senses when she noticed she was just standing there smiling like a fool.
“So… sorry, sorry… goodnight”she said and quickly rushed out of the room and Sia who was busy humming to a tune set the nightdress on the bed took off her clothes and wrapped a white towel around her body which reached mid-thigh and proceeded to the bathroom for a warm shower.
A few minutes later she came out all wet and water dropped her body, especially from her hair which was soaking wet and went to stand in front of the mirror to apply her lotion and since it was not time for Emiliano to get back, she decided to take her time and she stood there smiling occasionally, lost in her own world getting the cold cream and smeared it on her warm skin and when she reached her upper area she got rid of the towel tying it to her waist but just then the door knob twisted, and the door flew open, and a tired-looking Emiliano walked in but stopped once he saw his wife standing there and out of panic and fear Sia let go of the towel, and it fell off and down the floor as her big round eyes widened because the man wasn’t looking away.
