Emiliano knew by now how stubborn Sia was hence he needed to make her understand just what type of man Justin was, Justin made shrewd deals to women that he knew they would fall into his trap and do exactly what he wanted them to do and Emiliano wanted to avoid that with Sia.
“He never sold that building to anyone in the past no matter how much they offered him… just think”Emiliano said with some irritation to his voice because Sia was unreasonable.
“It’s my war to fight… if I don’t stand up for a jerk like him now then how do you expect me to have handle business matters in the future”she knew what she was doing by demanding to cross stones from Justin, yes she was aware of his bad deeds and knew just how to deal with him therefore Emiliano shouldn’t bother with her affairs not now or ever. Well, her words may have left Emiliano with no choice than to remain silent for a very long time and Sia thought he was already sleeping, and therefore she peeked at him to steal a glance only to meet eyes with him because now he was facing her side with his hand on Diego just like she did. Nervously, Sia closed her eyes and prayed she fell asleep. Emiliano kept his eyes open the entire time still thinking however he kept his thoughts to himself, his eyes fell on sia who seemed to be sleeping then to Diego who looked cute with his small eyes closed, and he couldn’t help but reach for his face but just as he extended his hand towards Diego’s face Sia moved hers, and she ended up touching him, Emiliano flinched as he shifted his gaze to Sia unfortunately the woman was fast asleep still holding his hand which we’re now resting in Diego. With a sigh, Emiliano closed his eyes without noticing the door was slightly open only for Mrs Johnson to pass by, and a huge smile appeared on her face and she left from there.
The next morning Emiliano was woken up by chirping birds by the window and the sunrise sipping in the room and with a lazy yawn, he tried to move while his eyes were closed but couldn’t because he felt heavy for some reason. With panic his eyes flew open to scan his surroundings only to find the most ridiculous scene he had ever seen before as he looked down only to find little Diego snuggling on his belly as he rested his small head there while fisted Emiliano’s shirt into his small hands, that wasn’t it but sia was snuggling on his chest like a second baby with her right arm resting underneath her chin and her hair resting on Emiliano’s arm which he had slipped around her neck resting on his back such that he coughed awkwardly trying to wake her up because he and no idea how they got into such a position. Emiliano tried to move her, but she snuggled even more to him and mumbled something like ‘leave me alone you jerk’ which he frowned about because clearly the lady was dreaming about him and actually insulting him in her dreams.
“Wake up”he whispered in her ear so low that only her could hear and not Diego who was sleeping cutely, his tiny self curled in a ball.
“W… what time is it?” Sia mumbled with a yawn as she rubbed her eyes lazily and opened them only to gasp and moved back with lightning speed and Emiliano rolled his eyes as he shifted his attention to Diego and caressed his cheeks and smiled.
“H… what did you do?”she fired up as she jumped out of bed in a confused expression however Emiliano was too busy with Diego to pay her any if his attention.
“For using me as a pillow I expect my payment from now till this evening”he remarked and Sia frowned as she opened her mouth to speak but closed it when she didn’t have anything insults to rain on him, yes she knew how bad her sleeping positions were at night and did a lot of spins but how did she end up on his chest.
“Good boy now wake up”Emiliano managed to lift Diego who had his little eyes open with utter confusion and Emiliano chuckled and raised him in the air to stretch, and he did.
“I’m going to run a bath for him”she said and made her way to the bathroom.
“This time… are you certain?” Emiliano asked with a frown but Sia didn’t answer him, she only went in and after what Emiliano counted as half an hour she came back.
“Come, come darling, I cleaned the bathroom now time for a bath”Sia beamed as she sat in the bed to undress Diego and Emiliano moved away as he watched her do her thing and once she was done, she took him to the bathroom and again Emiliano counted the time and fifteen minutes passed and Sia walked in with Diego wrapped in a baby blanket and with a smile Sia set him down, and he kicked a bit.
“I think he likes showers”Emiliano commented and watched his son kicking off the blanket no matter how much Sia covered him up.
“I…” Sia started but there was a knock at the door, and it was late.
“Madam kindly come to the living room, the lady wants to see you”Kate informed and sia nodded and shifted her attention back to Diego, and she extended her arm and reached for the baby bag containing all his clothes she took with her and set it in the bed.
“Please watch him… I won’t take long”she quickly said and tied her hair in a bunch and went after Kate, Emiliano scanned Diego, not sure what to do with him but when he saw the bag his eyes shone with delight because he had an idea.

“Good morning Mrs Johnson”Sia greeted the lady with a smile and took the coffee from Kate who left immediately.
“You look beautiful in the morning”the lady said with a smile making sia blush shyly as she sat down.
“Thanks aunt your house is spectacular”she commented, and the lady smiled and took out a small box from the table and handed it to sia who took it having no idea what it was for.
“You must be wondering why I’m giving this… well, this is just a small gift from me… I didn’t attend Nano’s wedding so here is my gift to you”the lady said with a smile and Sia opened it and say a gold bracelet and Miles because it was beautiful.
“Thank you so much it’s beautiful”it would appear rude if she refused the lady’s gift that was why she decided to give it to Emiliano later in since he knew the woman more than her.
“Sia… I know you think he isn’t the best man you ever wished for but believe me behind that cold face there is a lot of affection and love… it takes time for him to express what he likes, but you are married to him now… teach him how to love, and I’m sure you two will have a successful marriage”she said softly and sia nodded sporadically.
“I’ll try my best rest assured”sia replied in a low tone and the lady nodded.
“I heard Carmen and the old lady wants to see you… I guess you should get ready.”
“Yes yes”with that sia got up and made her way back to the room taking small shoes as she cradled the little box in her hand and once she reached there she pushed the door open since she had to make sure Diego was dressed, but her jaw dropped with what she found and her eyes scanned around the room, and she felt like crying.
“What happened here?”she asked and Emiliano turned around and beamed.
“I’m a good dad”he said with a wink and Sia nearly collapsed because she did not know where to start from or what to do with Emiliano.
