Early the next morning Sia left the mansion as per requested by Logan, she was so caught up in her predicament that she forgot about Logan. She was ashamed for hiding the truth from him, she was planning to tell him once they got engaged but didn’t think Emiliano would cause such a huge scene.
“Mr. Bolivar was it necessary to act as my driver?”Sia asked in a low tone and Bolivar let out a chuckled and shook his head.
“Not at all miss, I’m here whenever you need me and you know how your dad is particular about your safety”Bolivar said and Sia, having nothing to say or add on just shrugged and looked at her watch. It was nearly afternoon and since morning she had been sitting in her room recalling what had occurred in the past one month and so far she regretted nothing. Emiliano made a mistake in the past and now he was digging his own grave because once she got married to him then hell would fall on him.
“Thanks Mr. Bolivar… kindly wait here”Sia said as she got out of the car and Bolivar who opened the door nodded with a low bow and slammed the door shut once Sia had gone out. It was a beautiful sunny day, the air was warm and the sky was bright. Sia walked to the private garden of the coffee shop she was to meet Logan and once the waiter saw her, he led her to the garden only to find a table for two set up in a shed surrounded by tall trees and beautiful flowers and once Logan saw her he got up and made his way to her.
“Sia”he muttered and desperately caged her in his arms, he missed her a lot and after what happened the previous night he was lost and lonely. He had a lot of questions to her he needed to know why she chose Emiliano over him when she clearly knew how much he loved her.
“I’m… I’m so sorry Logan… I… I”she moved back from him and choked out the words in desperation, she needed to be clear once and for all because logan was a good person and deserve respect.
“Shhh… calm down don’t rush okay… come here”Logan murmured as he caressed her face and led her to sit down and once she did he handed her a glass of water which Sia took and drank half of it to calm her nerves.
“Its okay sweetheart, don’t stress much”he murmured again and ran her fingers in her hair and Sia nodded repeatedly and finished her water only after she was fully calm did Logan sit in his chair because the entire time he had been kneeling before her.
“I was wrong, I… I should have told you the entire truth however I could”Sia said now in a calm voice as now her breathing has become stable, Logan stared at her without blinking and smiled faintly. He suddenly had the urge to hug her kiss her and shield her from harm her knew how careless Emiliano was but he wondered how she ended up having a child for him or was it a lie.
“It’s okay Sia, I’m certain you had your reason and for that I can’t hold it against you… never”he said sincerely and Sia could see it in his eyes and once again guilt washed over her engulfing her entire body like a heavy blanket making her feel suffocated. Her heart beat hyphenated hating every moment she was hurting him.
“You are nice, too nice Logan… I don’t deserve your you in the slightest”she mumbled feeling bad for what she had made him go through but she couldn’t change anything because she already made a mistake once in the past and this mistake had hunted her present and threatened her future which seemed dark than she wanted it to be.
“For you I can be whatever you want me too just… just let me be a part of your life Sia”he remarked as his hands found hers and squeezed her softly in assistance as his eyes beamed with both sadness and hurt, Sia knowing full well she couldn’t give what he wanted shook her head in the most nicest way possible as tears threatened to rain down but she pushed them back with a sniffle and squeezed his hands back and lowered Hernandez to the table which separated them and Logan steeled his heart not wanting to hear what she had to say when he knew it was going to hurt him more than he could bare.
“I don’t care what your reason is Sia… and… and about the child don’t worry I’ll treat him as my own… just don’t marry him”he got desperate and Sia knew it because his hands were shaking which meant he was nervous and as much as she wanted to say yes to him, she just couldn’t because his parents wouldn’t want that and of course her dad hated the idea of having the baby around and if she went ahead and said yes to logan then diego would be sent to the orphanage which she didn’t want no matter what.
“I have no doubt you would make a great dad but… but I can’t Logan… Emiliano is the father of my child and… I want Diego to grow up with his real father… I hope you understand”it was very difficult to say what she had just said because by the look of Logan’s face he was hurting having to let it of something he thought was his and Sia knew any better than to hurt him more.
“Please Sia… I can’t bear to see him take you away from him… I… love you Sia it hurts my heart to see you getting married to him… I can’t take this pain I’m feeling”Logan tried to make up a proper sentence to express his sincerest thoughts not wanting to sound helpless but at the end of the day he was helpless and angry at Emiliano for what he did and angry at himself for not knowing what was going on in Sia’s life all this time because if he had stayed close then he would have prevented Emiliano from touching Sia in any way.
“As much as it hurts me to do this, I can’t just involve you in this mess… I’m better off as a friend Logan”saying that she rose from her seat and took her purse draping it over her shoulder.
“I’m sorry”she mumbled and lowered to plant a kiss on his cheek and walked away, Logan’s would seemed to have paused because he couldn’t feel himself, he was suddenly numb from the pain as he watched Sia walk out on him after making a decision that would ruin everything he had worked hard for to build and that was his love for her and the plans he had for the two of them once they got married.
“No Sia”he finally whispered to himself “I won’t let him take what’s mine, I love you and he doesn’t even care about you in the least”he added and vowed to protect Sia from Emiliano’s couches because he knew to emiliano, having Sia in his life was all about showing him that he could have it all even if he had to take it by force. This was a war between him and Emiliano and he wasn’t going to back down now no matter what.

It was a great afternoon for emiliano because after he had concluded with his meeting which he had to go for lunch with his business partner and he had to admit he was doing a great job and so far he had just arrived at Alvaro company and Trey his new assistant opened the car door for him just as the car pulled up in front of the tall building.
“Sir”Trey said with a bow and emiliano stepped out, fixed his suit and made his way inside followed by Trey and four other mine I black suits as usual.
“Sir, your meetings are done for the day… for now you only have to sign a few files which are needed for our next shipment”Trey reported as the walked and Emiliano didn’t even spare him his time, Trey continued talking until they reached the private elevator and to the sides he could see various female employees fighting to take a glimpse at the soon to be CEO of the company and shook his head, they all wanted to have a piece of his boss.
“Good afternoon sir, there is a lady waiting for you in your office”Emiliano’s Secretary informed him as soon as they exited the elevator and walked to his office and with narrowed eyes Emiliano made a thinking face.
“Who is it? I clearly warned you not to let anyone in my office without my knowledge”he replied closely and his secretary was on the verge of collapse as she immediately went on her knees and started begging him not to fire her. Emiliano sighed at her outburst and walked inside before telling Trey to fix things and Trey got to work.
“You are not fired just don’t do this again”Trey said and stood outside the office door and the Secretary nodded nervously.
As soon as Emiliano walked in his office the lady in question sensed his presence and got up from the seat as Emiliano knitted his brows wondering who it was because despite having dressed elegant she had a scarf covering her head, he could have mistaken her for the wild kitten but the person was a bit taller and slender.
“P… please don’t ruin her life”the lady said as soon as she turned around and removed her scarf only for Emiliano to stumble back but balanced as his eyes shot venom.
“What are you doing here?”Emiliano asked coldly and walked to his chair and Tara who was nervous fiddled with her hands which had turned pale.
“I’m.. I’m here to get punished for the sins I committed… my sister is innocent please Emil”she stammered in a cracked voice and added “you… can marry me… but please don’t ruin my little sister’s life”she said and immediately her words left her mouth Emiliano out of anger threw his laptop across the room unexpectedly such that Tara didn’t see it coming and flinched in fear as she looked at him fuming in rage.
