Everything was well decorated and in place, the mansion was decorated in beautiful flowers which were Sia’s favorite specifically told by Logan who wanted the engagement party to be the best and everything had to be just the way Sia would love it. Cristal had a huge smile on her face as she instructed the employees to do their work well including giving the guests whatever they desire, after making sure her daughter was a hundred percent in agreement to the marriage she relaxed a bit and assured her husband not to worry that Sia might do something at last minute including running away before the engagement. Sia was someone who did as she pleased and Cristal knew her daughter had always wanted nothing to do with high status that was why she never got along with her father who was very particular with high status and always doing the right thing because as a Navarro, they were expected to act in the right manner to suit their wealthy status.
“Wow Eleanor… you did a great job”Logan’s mom said to Cristal as both mothers stood at corner admiring the place with amusement in their eyes, Cristal blushed as she nodded in satisfaction.
“This is nothing, I wanted to do more, but time wasn’t on my side”Cristal said with so much pride and Logan’s mom shook her head.
“This is wonderful, I can’t wait for my son and Sia to get engaged… but I wonder why didn’t you invite the Alvaro family, huh?” Logan’s mom asked with curiosity and Cristal frowned.
“I preferred not to cause trouble, you know how Carmen can be”she didn’t have anything with the Alvaro’s in fact she dearly wanted Sia and Carmen’s eldest son to be married however rumors had it that her son was one who wasn’t meant to be married he still has a life to live, and therefore she decided Logan was a better candidate knowing full well Sia and Logan had a tiny past together.
“It’s okay, I’m glad you didn’t I don’t like her son anyway”Logan’s mom said defensively and cristal nodded as they continued their mother talk while Logan anxiously glanced upstairs hoping to see Sia because since he arrived he didn’t lay his eyes on the most beautiful woman he knew and that was Sia, the love of his life.
“I think with our partnership your company will attain millions within a week”Seth said bringing Logan back to reality, and he nodded with a smile while his father contributed.
“I was hoping once they get married, Sia should also take over your family business what do you think?”he asked and Seth chuckled and sipped on his drink knowing full well his daughter wanted nothing to do with his company, but soon he was going to make her accept her fate no matter.

In Sia’s bedroom Tara had just finished making sure her sister was looking as beautiful as ever and as per her request she went for nudes make up, nothing too attention seeking.
“Okay ladies, thanks a lot”Tara said to the people who were working on Sia and once they were out here room did Sia exhale in relief and walked to her bed and sat down, her dress was already making her feel irritated not just that, but she was told to smile by her dad no matter what which was not what she wanted even though she agreed to the marriage.
“So how’s my little sister feeling, are you happy?” Tara said cheerfully as he clicked a picture and set her phone on the table and sat beside Sia and hugged her lightly but Sia just sighed heavily and Tara got concerned.
“Just want this to be over with, and don’t expect me to lose for cameras”Sia said and Tara had the urge to laugh but fully understood and nodded.
“Okay little Missy I’ll tell mom, no pictures… I’m just glad you are willingly marrying Logan”saying that Tara hugged Sia who smiled faintly, and the two sat in their original position and silence fell in the room, Tara played with the bracelet around her wrist and Sia looked at her and lowered her head.
“Do… don’t you want to meet him?” Sia asked and saw her sister’s face turn sad and knew Tara being in Canada where the man who she claimed to love was in, was not something pleasant. Her sister was a strong woman and never complained even when she was forced to marry a narcist of a man who did nothing but treated her badly she never went against her father even when the man she loved was forced to act as her husband’s lawyer during their divorce case still Tara had to endure all the insults, and hence she wanted to be just like her so tolerant.
“It’s best not to talk about it”Tara said with a faint smile which Sia knew was just a show “come let’s go, I think its about time”she added and glanced at her watch, and it was time for the engagement to start and Sia feeling helpless not to say anything further nodded, and both women rose from the bed and walked to the door, Sia was first then Tara who hesitated a bit and followed drying a few tears which lingered in her eyes and she smiled in happiness.
Sia adjusted her eyes as they walked to the stairs leading to the party hall and was mesmerized seeing the nice dime lighting which made the entire set up spectacular and eye-catching, the music was slow as she saw everyone having a good tight chatting about what she guessed was business related matters, and immediately she came into view walking down the stairs cases with Tara beside her holding her arm everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to her.
“Relax baby sis”Tara whispered to Sia sending how nervous she appeared due to the number of people who had their eyes on her admiring her beauty as they murmured among themselves.
“Wow Cristal, so this is your lovely daughter… I didn’t know she was this beautiful like a fairy”One of Cristal’s friends whispered and Cristal shrugged with pride.
“How I wish my son wasn’t married”another one said, and they all chimed in praising Sia who was now with Logan standing while holding hands and Annie Logan’s mom blushed as she switched her son whispering to Sia obviously telling her how beautiful she looked.
“Hey, you look gorgeous Sia”Logan said shyly and handed her a bouquet of pink roses and Sia smiled faintly and took them.
“Thanks, you look dashing yourself”Sia commented and Logan chuckled and took her hand and kissed the back of her hand.
“Shall we?”he said and took her arm and led her to the small stage where the bride and groom chairs were set up and Carmen went up the stage as everyone gathered around with smiles on their faces.
“So without wasting any of your precious time, we will get right to the main event of our gathering, Tara?”Carmen said and turned to Tara who nodded and took a small red pillow which had two boxes of on it from the servants and walked up the small stage and stood just before Sia and Logan who were facing each other.
“Today my precious daughter Sia and of course my good friend Annie’s son and CEO of Martinez oil company Logan will officially get engaged”Carmen announced with a smile and a few reporters clicked pictures of the couple and smiled because for the first time they had to see the one and only Navarro second daughter in the flesh.
“Sia, Logan you may exchange the rings”saying that she went on and opened the small boxes and retrieved matching rose gold rings specifically made just for the occasion by a famous jewelry company and cost a few millions just like Annie had requested. Carmen gave a ring to Sia who took it nervous and Logan got his as he smiled from ear to ear and looked at Sia who died a smile, still not believing she was getting engaged without the Alvaro’s knowing about it.
“Are you ready?”Logan whispered to Sia who nodded and carmen together with Tara left the small stage as they watched the two love birds with anticipation.
Sia’s heart beat increased as he got ready to slide the ring on Logan’s finger who had stretched his head towards her as a smile plastered on his face, he was finally going to have the woman he loved and no one would stop him but just then a certain familiar voice spoke and everyone turned towards the entrance door to see who was.
“Don’t you think its a bad idea to start the engagement without the real groom to be?”the person said again and came into view only to reveal none other than Emiliano standing before them in a black tuxedo accompanied by four men dressed in black suits, a serious cold expression was plastered on his face and seeing him everyone got surprised wondering what the Alvaro Casanova was doing there while Logan clenched his fist in anger as he fixed his cold gaze on him and Sia nearly collapsed from shock as her knees weakened seeing Emiliano Alvaro at her engagement party.
“What do you mean?”Cristal came forward and asked while seth and Annie together with Tara and Logan’s father came forward however emiliano didn’t even spare them a glance as his eyes were fixed on Sia looking as if she was about to pass out due to lack of air and as if it wasn’t enough to have Emiliano there behind him came none other than rhea with little Diego in her arms and Sia crouched her chest area failing to breathe and Emiliano smirked and muttered.
“Checkmate baby.”
