Sia shifted in her sleep from side to side as she tried to find a comfortable position, but her body felt heavy as she fought with drowsiness to lift her eyelashes and when she did, she looked around the room and panicked as she at up to inspect herself just as the door flew open and Carmen walked in holding a glass of warm milk with a huge smile on her face.
“Good morning Sia, did you sleep well?” Carmen said as she went on to put the glass beside her bed and Sia with a confused expression tried to put pieces together.
“I’m… it was good”she mumbled as her hand went in her hair as she watched Carmen draw the curtains apart. She was now back in the Alvaro mansion but how come because she recalled falling asleep in that small room if the hotel Emiliano hated.
“I was so worried about you Sia, granny and I nearly went crazy searching for you and Emiliano especially Diego”Carmen said and sat on the bed, still Sia was confused not sure how she got here.
“Well… I… it’s…”she tried to say, but no words formed to explain herself, seeing her behavior Carmen smiled and reached for Sia’s hair and caressed her lightly confusing her even more.
“It’s okay, Angelo and Nickolas made a mistake and once they remembered they left Emiliano at food galore they came back in the middle of the night to take you back”Camden explained and finally Sia got the bigger picture and nodded.
“Emiliano didn’t want to wake you, so he carried you instead”she went in and said with a smile and Sia frowned knowing full well how much disdain Emiliano must have had when carrying her which was a bad idea because after this, she was certain the Casanova would taunt her for life.
“I didn’t hear a thing… where’s Diego”Sia asked now remembering her son as she jumped out if the bed and nearly ran to the door, but Carmen stopped her
“Relax, Diego is with Lulu and Angelo… they took him for a walk”as if she was dreaming Sia looked back at Carmen with doubt in her eyes as she recalled what Emiliano had asked her back at the hotel when they were having their meal.
“Since you came in my life nothing but bad things happen to me… tell me don’t you have a family your mom or dad or better yet sister to keep you busy”he had voiced out his sarcastic words at her as she watched him feed Diego with patience and Sia been aware of her lies cleared her throat and decided to make up more lies to brush him off.
“Was the only child, mom and dad died a long time ago”she told him hating every moment she killed her parents with her words but what was done, she had a mission to make sure Emiliano never had a peaceful life.
“Surname?” Emiliano asked and with hesitation Sia frowned but answered anyway.
“I’m Sia swift”she made up a name and Emiliano looked up at her with suspicion in his eyes but soon left his eyes as his facial expression darkened and set Diego on the bed and walked to put the bowl back, Sia watched him from the sides and swallowed a dry lump on her throat praying her secrets doesn’t come out, and that Emiliano doesn’t look more into her private life. Thanks to Mario she had managed to conceal her identity and knowing how Emiliano was she feared her night find out which was likely to happen because she covered her tracks very well.
“Who is the real father for once… both of us know I didn’t lay a finger on you”he asked in a serious tone and Sia clenched her fist as she walked to him and grabbed him by his shirt such that Emiliano was startled by her behavior knowing full well no woman has ever dated to do such a thing to him unless they wanted to die.
“Nothing?.. you did nothing? dig deep into that head of yours Mr. Emiliano Alvaro… you are a monster”saying that she had pushed him away and made her way to the bed to make sure it was safe for Diego to sleep since he didn’t burp already, Emiliano stood there as he watched Sia with narrowed eyes and ran his hands furiously in his hair and stormed to the bathroom.
Well, sia wasn’t in the mood to tell stories of the past therefore after talking to Carmen she freshened up and went downstairs, she finally got her phone back and the first message she found was from the last per she had been trying to avoid all the while and as ordered by her father she was expected to meet him before they got engaged in a few days.
“Ouch!” Sia mumbled as she bumped I to something solid and when she looked up the eyes changed from worry to hate as she glared at Emiliano who was gawking at her telling her he wasn’t happy to see her as well.
“Look where you are going!”she said with fury and tried to walk past him however Emiliano grabbed her hand and slammed her against the wall such that Sia had the urge to kick him between his legs.
“Oh really, tell me what are you hiding, huh?” Emiliano whispered as he reached his hand for her neck and used his thumb to caress her, not lovingly but with pure hate. Sia clenched her jaw as she tried to ignore him, but he lowered down and brushed his lips against her cheek, if seducing her was the only option to make her spill the truth about the Father’s baby then he was willing to put his hate aside and entertain the vile woman.
“Get… your hand off me”she said with heavy breaths, but Emiliano moved closer even more such that no space remained between them, Sia felt suffocated as hi sweet cologne hit her nose numbing all her senses, but she had to stay strong.
“Really, didn’t you say the baby is mine… which means you and me… had one hell of a hot night…”he said and brushed his lips on her exposed flesh and Sia could feel he had a smirk on his face.
“So how about we… relive that night… maybe just maybe I might remember”Emiliano said in a husky voice and by now Sia felt aggressive as she with strength pushed him away but Emiliano didn’t dare argue as he laughed hysterically making her feel even more irritated just as a phone vibrated and with alertness Sia knew it was hers but it wasn’t with her.
“Enemy’s love… is calling.. tell me is this your lover or partner in crime”he said shrewdly as he scanned the caller ID on Sia’s phone which he took out of her pocket without her knowledge.
“Give me that! Dont you dare!”she furiously grabbed the phone from him and warned him in anger before walking away leaving emiliano fuming in rage as his blood boiled with anger for some reason.
“Very soon I’ll find your weak spot Fox… just you wait”saying that he adjusted his suit and made his way to his room, he forgot his file hence came back but bumped into Sia which was like their way of meeting he wondered if she bumped into him on purpose.
Meanwhile Sia didn’t answer the call because she was already upset with Emiliano and Logan actually calling her personally made her even more angry.
