Instead of calling Mario to have a private conversation, Sia decided they go out to somewhere private because she needed to make new plans to get out of the situation she was in now all because her parents had dropped in, in Oakville which meant trouble on her doorstep.
“I don’t understand this, I called Tara, and she said the family weren’t going anywhere for the time being”Mario said as he dug his fork in the salad he had ordered as he tried to put two and two together.
“My days are numbered Mario, dad won’t make it easy for me”sia remarked as she leaned back and stared at her food, suddenly she lost her appetite just thinking about what her life would be like having her dad and mom around who did nothing but impose harsh rules on her.
“It’s okay I’ll come up with something simultaneously we are going to need you Rhea”Mario said the last words to Rhea who has been quiet the entire time eating her food and almost lost in her own world.
“Rhea!” Sia cold out and like someone who has been splashed with a bucket of ice water, Rhea jerked back to her senses perplexed.
“Huh? What did you say?”she asked and Sia who was already irritated felt even more frustrated by her assistant and friend’s behavior, clearly Rhea was supposed to be in the same page as her but there she was lost in her fantasy.
“We are trying to find a way to get rid of my parents, get it together Rhea”she remarked with some frustration to her voice and Rhea lowered her head in pure guilt.
“Sorry Sia, I’m a hundred percent behind you rest assured”Rhea said with a faint smile that had Mario rolling his eyes in irritation because for a while now Rhea had been upset minded, every time he tried to start a conversation with her, she gave ridiculous excuses about how busy she was.
“I want you fully in this, meanwhile my parents needs to know I’m crashing at your apartment because it’s the only way I can stay at the Alvaro mansion without them getting suspicious”Sia said and Rhea nodded just as five well-built men in black suits and wearing sunglasses invaded to their private booth where they were having their lunch, seeing the five men Sia sighed.
“Miss Navarro, please come with us”one of the men said and Mario continued devouring his food while Rhea’s face turned pale recalling what she had done a few days ago if Sia found out she would hate her for betraying her.
“I’m having my food as you can see Mr. Bolivar, wait”Sia said coldly and got back to her food but the same man who she called Bolivar took out his phone and handed it to Sia and Sia hesitated before taking it and connected to her ear.
“Dad”she said and waited for her father to speak until he was done giving her orders did Sia nod and give the phone back to Bolivar her father’s right-hand man.
“Shall we?” Bolivar asked and Sia looked at Mario who nodded.
“Let’s go guys”saying that Sia rose to her feet, fixed the dress she was wearing and Bolivar gestured for her to proceed to the restaurant’s exit door and the five men followed her shielding her from various reporters who would want to take pictures. Mario and Rhea followed suit and got out and headed to his car just as the three cars which had come to get Sia drove off. Mario sighed as he followed them back to the Navarro mansion, this was what Sia hated about her life she hated following orders and no, that her dad was in town it was going to be hell for her, he just hoped Seth doesn’t find out about Diego who knew what the ruthless man would do to his daughter for deceiving him for a whole full year.

As Sia made her way to face her family Emiliano had gone to the office after deciding to keep himself busy because if he didn’t then his life would be miserable considering now that he was forced to go caliber.
“Sir, everything is going smooth”Trey gave his report as soon as Emiliano walked in the building to his office and Emiliano who was busy hanging his coat nodded for him to continue and with so much pride Trey added.
“I managed to find out about why the Navarro came to Canada other than for a vacation”he had gone all out to dig information on the ghost lady in question, it wasn’t easy, but he had a few informers in Mexico of his own and so far, they have given him something to start with.
“The entire world knows they came for a vacation, is there another motive they came here for?” Emiliano asked as he drew back the Chair and sat down like a boss he was and pushed his hair back.
“Yes sir, it turned out that the Navarro’s and the Martinez have a marriage alliance going on… that’s why they came to Canada for”Trey gave his report and Emiliano arched a brow, Trey didn’t know if his boss heard him because the face he had was blank it was like he was trying to process whatever he just said, he took was shocked to hear that the eldest son of the Martinez family Logan Martinez the heir and new CEO to the well known oil company and supposedly Emiliano’s rival.
“The oil CEO”Emiliano said with so much disdain, he loathed Logan because he always tried to do what he did and wanted what he had, and now it seemed the tables have turned, Emiliano didn’t imagine a day would come where he would want what Logan had and that was the ghost kitten who Logan was to be married to. He would have guessed the lawyer would be his soon-to-be bride, but that was out of the question, it was likely the youngest daughter, his new obsession and that was the little ghost kitten.
“Find more info ASAP, I don’t have much time”Emiliano gave orders and Trey nodded, if Logan was to be the Navarro’s son-in-law then it was likely his family and oil company would suppress any company including his, that was why he needed to act fast and find the ghost kitten and woo her himself.
